The Hideaway cabin was very peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the bed is so comfortable. We went to the BOC wilderness and rode in side by side checked out all the beautifully hidden waterfalls. The Sweden creek falls is just minutes from the cabin. We went to Jasper which is also close to eat for the Jasper Pizza and the Ozark Cafe which were both excellent, from this cabin right down the road is a beautiful waterfall as well. I would highly recommend this cabin close to hiking , waterfalls and just so peaceful.

We would recommend to anyone not wanting to stay right in the middle of Eureka but right on the outside, far enough away to feel like you have some privacy but close enough to feel like you aren’t missing out. Property was beautiful, quiet, and we’d recommend to anyone looking for the national park vibe. They definitely succeed in that aspect! We will be staying here again when we return to Eureka!

The cabin was beautiful and bed was super comfortable. We had deer outside and enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Clean up requirements were easy and communication was good but not intrusive. Would stay here again

This was our third time coming up to the Chipmunk Cottage for a relaxing getaway and it’s just as we remember it each year. The cabin is nice and secluded yet easy to find and has an amazing view from the back porch. Our host Billy always responsive and helpful from check in to check out. We can’t wait to come back again the following year already!

Our family was very impressed by this beautiful cabin! I usually don’t sleep well away from home and I slept like a baby on the mattress—so comfortable! The owners were thoughtful with the details. We were happy to see sugar and cream for the coffee, a towel warmer, and an espresso maker in the master bedroom so we could start with a morning coffee on the upstairs balcony without waking up the kids. We were close enough to town to be convenient yet far enough away for a beautiful open view. The star gazing from the hot tub may have been my favorite part of the trip!

This is my 3rd year staying here and they never disappoint. They are such great hosts and I plan to stay here again in the future if it’s available.

Beautiful views, quiet surroundings, a true peaceful getaway. The cabin is clean and well decorated. We loved the hot tub, TV, and fireplace. Definitely will be back. Thank you for a great weekend!

Enjoyed our stay. Peaceful area and close to all amenities. The cabin was nice and well stocked. Having the high chair, pack and play, and baby gate available made traveling with a toddler easier. The rock yard and front door threshold was difficult for a wheelchair. Once inside wheelchair access was great. The bathroom worked well but could use a few grab bars in the shower and toilet areas. We would highly recommend this cabin to our more mobile friends.

3 old friends enjoyed 3 days of fishing at Montauk. The location and cabin were perfect for us. Historically we have stayed in a cabin in the park, but moving forward we will be staying at the Blue Ribbon. It is ride outside the park, a very short drive, much more peaceful and much nicer for a similar price. Highly recommend staying here for a fishing trip to Montauk.

This place was absolutely beautiful! We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend, and it was exactly what we needed. The bride wanted a peaceful, relaxing weekend to focus on herself and spend quality time with the wedding party, and this location delivered. We actually found it by chance, and even though it was a five-hour drive for us, it was 100% worth it! There were a couple of small hiccups along the way, but the owners responded quickly and either fixed the issue or gave us clear instructions on how to handle it. Their communication really made all the difference. We had such a great experience and are already talking about coming back in the future!

We had a great stay here!!! It was so cozy! We had more than enough space to sleep with all the bunks and the huge king beds were so comfy. The swings outside were absolutely perfect to read on too! The place smelled clean and the kitchen was stocked well with essentials! We highly recommend this cabin! :)

The cabin was so clean and looked brand new inside. The fireplace woodstove was wonderful on the cool evening and the screened in porch overlooking the woods and valley were just wonderful. Bob's cabin will always be on my short list for returning to again in the future when needing to get away to a peaceful and quiet location (even my cell phone with internet didn't work here which was a plus). I highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, and beautiful location.

This cabin is soooooo worth it!!! You'll want to understand that the listing is very accurate about its possible drawbacks (i.e. it is small, no couch or wifi, etc) BUT what it does have are a treasure: nature, view of the gorgeous creek, comfy chairs, and a wide variety of VHS tapes and puzzles/games. PLUS highly responsive hosts who are on site for anything you might need! They're kind, helpful people who will give you space or a long chat, whatever you prefer. :-) The new shower since my last visit is an excellent upgrade. This was my 5th visit, and I'm already planning my 6th. It is peaceful, quiet, "off the beaten path" and refreshing for the soul. My dog and I had a great visit with many walks around the property (there are trails to follow). Thank you, Linda and Robert! I'll certainly be back. :-)

The cabin was just what we needed. It was so nice and cozy for my husband and I, and the surrounded area was absolutely beautiful. Hope to stay there again in the future.

The location of this cabin was spectacular, close to many trails and short drive into town for restaurants or groceries. The view all around the property was breathtaking and there were so many wonderful amenities provided. We had such a great time and this place helped us unplug and enjoy quality time. We cannot wait to return for a longer stay next time. If you're able to, add an extra night!

A great place to stay very clean very quiet

Nice little cabin. Warm, clean, perfect location for our grouse hunting trip. Scott and Lisa were great hosts. Friendly and responsive. We got to meet them (their place is just down the road). Had a drink and watched a half of football with them....very enjoyable! Nice folks.
