I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cabin 45 inside Camp Miramichee, and what an unforgettable experience it was! Lynn and Jay, the hosts, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as it was memorable. They are passionate about the history of this special place, which dates back to 1916, and they kindly shared stories and photo albums that truly brought the legacy of Camp Miramichee to life. From the serene campgrounds to the cozy cabins, everything was perfect. Whether you’re here for relaxation or to soak in the history, Lynn and Jay’s cabins offer an incredible blend of both. I can’t wait to return and continue exploring this beautiful slice of history! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and nostalgic getaway.

This house is very unique, neat and a great experience! Host was very responsive to the issues with the HVAC system not keeping the house warm and did their best to fix it during our stay. Host is very responsive and prompt!

This is a beautiful place with a helpful host. My partner and I loved our stay here and found it relaxing and cozy. The fireplace kept the place warm and created a wonderful atmosphere. This is a place I would revisit and highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had a great time for our Thanksgiving holiday here at this house. It was peaceful and beautiful and unique. We would recommend the place, and Annie was a responsive, friendly, and kind host, who was very accommodating to our check-in and check-out times as well. Highly recommend this place!

This was our third stay at the Hobbit House. Each time they have added extra details such as new decorations, a bunch of hidden dragons to find, and delicious snacks. You won’t go wrong with this stay. The city has all sorts of restaurants just a 20 minute drive but the house is set up with lots of kitchen items so you could bring a few groceries and never leave!

This is our forth stay at the Stone Cabin. We love this place and the host! Anything and everything we ever is need is available. The place is spotless, comfortable and in a great location. We can't say enough good things. We can't wait to come back!

My 10year old daughter picked this place on our annual trip to Minneapolis to visit family and friends. It was quite interesting the time it must have taken to paint murals and/or to adhere stones to almost every surface must have taken months if not years. My daughter enjoyed it immensely. We were happy that it had a piano which she could practice her lessons. Friends were happy to peer inside after only seeing it from the outside for years. It does need some minor repairs of some of the artistic elements and yard features. (Annette Id be happy to discuss this with you as I restore art and such) The only complaint I have was that it was very challenging to locate the light switches having arrived at night. It took some time even with my phone light as the switches are camouflaged into the murals and very challenging to find on the first go. I would suggest a motion sensor light in the entry way or switches that light up. All and all we would definitely stay again.

Stonehaven was an amazing place for a weekend getaway with friends. It was exactly as described and we found it with no issues by following the instructions in the listing. Everything was comfy and cozy and the kitchen was stocked nicely! We are looking forward to coming back during the other seasons to enjoy the outdoor areas.
