Very comfortable stay, warmed by gas stove fire- a great place to put boots near and coffee mug to stay warm. Absolutely beautiful location, lovely view of the animals from large back door, and a welcoming host!

We have been to this area for several years. This place was perfect, quiet and beautiful. I loved looking out the big window to watch the sunrise while having my coffee. Beautiful farm and horses.

We had a lovely stay in a warm October weekend! The house is super clean and stays cozy even when it was chilly at night. The property is beautiful and it’s located a short drive from a great beach!

Jesse’s farmhouse was the perfect accommodation for our trip home to visit family for the holidays. There was plenty of space for everyone (to include our pups!) and we enjoyed the quietness after busy, social days with multiple family gatherings. The location was great and somewhat central for us to visit family in Viroqua, Highland, and Madison. We would definitely stay again!

This was a great place to stay for our ski trip to Monarch. We were surprised how convenient and easy the drive was from this home to the ski resort. The house is spacious with plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to prepare several meals in. We enjoyed the gas fireplace on chilly mornings and evenings. The large laundry room/mud room was a nice bonus space to drop our ski boots and clothes. Because David’s space is in a valley we were able to view both beautiful sunrises and sunsets from his property. We would definitely like to come back to enjoy all that the area has to offer during the summer months as well and would consider staying here again.

Lisa’s restored farmhouse was absolutely gorgeous. From the wooden floors, doors and windows, to the cast iron clawfoot tubs and serene paint colors, my big family felt right at home. Also, no matter what I needed, whether it was a large soup kettle or paper towels, everything was provided. The beds and linens were very comfortable as well, which may be the most important feature for me. Palisade is a beautiful, quaint town and the yellow farm house will take you back in time for a peaceful, unforgettable trip.

This house was an absolute amazing experience. My fiancé and I had a blast staying here and Anita was a wonderful host. She was so sweet and helpful, and her cats were just the most adorable things! Thank you Anita, once again!

If you are after the illuminations of the stars, - the peaceful heat from the jacuzzi or perhaps the traditionalist hunting cabin interior this might be the spot for you. Its great at every level and the hosts were always responsive, even after I locked myself out. Not far from Goodland. highly recommend the Brick House for their pancakes and waffles.

My stay was wonderful! Everything was clean, worked well, and was as described! Pamela was kind, helpful, responsive, and generous in sharing her farm animals for pettting and fresh eggs for breakfast! I would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to get away for the weekend. We picked this location because of it's distance from any major cities. There was very little light pollution. A perfect place to set up our telescope., and look at stars.

absolutely LOVED this place, felt right at home, Ron and Dawn are great people and have a wonderful family their kids played so much with ours and got along great, they couldnt stop asking to go play more. we are looking forward to returning. lovely place, family, animals, and location.

We had an awesome stay! The Perch was so cozy and felt like home! The surroundings and waking up to the peaceful view were nice as well. Our hosts were so friendly and responsive when anything was needed. We enjoyed being able to help with chicken chores and it was definitely a highlight! Even though we came on a cold weekend, the Perch was nice and toasty with the provided heaters. It was cold in the outhouse, but we expected that! The location was perfect for exploring Duluth as well. We plan to come back again when it’s warmer and there’s even more chickens to hang out with! Highly recommend staying here for a fun, relaxing, and unique experience.

Great spot. perfectly clean & everything you need!

The cabin was perfect in every way. Great location and views. Very quiet and private. We were greeted by the horses and got a visit from Abbe’s dogs (we didn’t bring our own this time, so we were so happy to see them). The cabin was well stocked and provided the most perfect resting spot for my nephew and I on his spring break/birthday trip. We woke up to quite a bit of snow, but were happy to stay in and play uno while the wood burning stove kept us nice and cozy. 10/10 recommend. We will be back!

My fiancé and I came down for the weekend and had a wonderful stay here. It is clear Valerie and her family take pride in what they do and this Air BNB is a testament to it. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a great stay. We even left with some Apple and Pear cider from their orchard! Highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

Really enjoyed our few quiet days in this lovely house. For us it was all about rest and relaxation and Kimberly’s place had everything we needed. Internet was a little slow - but a good warning to us personally that we are TOO addicted to having a gazillion devices all connected at once . Loved being able to walk around the neighboring streets or the short drive into town if we needed anything.

I loved my stay at The Henhouse! The place is simply adorable, and I loved using the hot tub and bath. Kitchen was super cute, and I loved watching the animals on the farm. Jillynn is a wonderful host!

This was a perfect place for our girls' reading weekend! We enjoyed the views over the fields from the picture windows, and loved walking over to the winery tasting room in the afternoon. We'd definitely stay here again!

My group has been cross-country skiing at ABR for more than 20 years. We like to rent a house on the trails. This was our first time at Saari House. The second week in March was late in the season for skiing, but we skied in the mornings and snowshoed in the afternoons. Being right off the Blueberry Bluffs trails was nice. The house is charming, with lots of natural light. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room table that seats 6. There is just one bathroom but that was fine for our group of four women. One bedroom is on the main floor, off the cozy living room. The second floor has the second bedroom, plus an extra room with a pull-out couch. It was nice to have plenty of large towels, and a washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a small wooden deck around the front of the house. You enter through a mud room with plenty of room to store your boots and hang clothes. We look forward to a visit here next winter!

We had a wonderful stay at this home with our group of six women. The house was roomy, giving everyone plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable. It was spotless and beautifully decorated with such cute and thoughtful touches. The beds were comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The outdoor area was such a nice addition – we only wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed it even more. Kind and responsive host. Overall, it was the perfect place for our getaway, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

Easily the highlight of our trip, Emily's place was all we hoped for and more. Excellent hospitality (and a wonderful tour by Lilly !), spectacular setting and environment, we wish we would have planned to stay longer. Just an A+ experience overall, highly recommended.

We spent two days and had a fantastic time. Scott stopped by to do some work around the farm, which gave us an opportunity to chat with him briefly. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a great meal. We have already told several friends about this place.
