Beautiful cottage with a rustic and cozy feel! Josh was a great host with clear instructions and quick responses to any question or concern we had!

It was exactly as we expected. The pictures were just as described. No surprises. Deck and surroundings were beautiful. Very clean with nice amenities. Do not be concerned about regular tenant on lower level (quiet, do not know he is there). Five miles from everything. Right by main roads and interstate.

Jan and George were so helpful snd flexible-- permitting us to artive early and check-out late-- making the trip a lot easier on us. The cabin is beautiful, and very comfortable-- great for a modestly sized group of friends or a family. My friends and I had a great time, and we loved being the only cabin secluded in the woods. The rope swings were also super fun.

The facility was absolutely beautiful and the home was awesome...well appointed, comfy, had extra treats, coffee pods, wonderful gas fireplace...all located in a beautiful and tranquill setting...this is my most favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in and I will definitely be back when I am in the area! Mark was an awesome host, and was always punctual with any questions I had. He even accomodated an early morning check-out, as I had a super early flight, and took care of some things for me that I would have typically taken care of myself...OUTSTANDING venue, all kitchen utensils, ingredients, appliances, etc. were on site...clean towels, linens, etc. on site...washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets on site, which were very nice to have...other Airbnb's require you purchase your own...I only went to the grocery story once the entire week, as this Airbnb was so well stocked...beautifully decorated as well, and awesome country setting...I would recommend this to everyone!! :)

This is an amazing space! Located off of the highway and tucked away, but only minutes to Steelville, where there are amenities like grocery stores, restaurants and such. For our race team, it was the perfect central base for our activities in Potosi and Salem. The house is large and suits a large family or team quite well. Plenty of spaces to gather, as well as areas where you can have privacy. Well stocked kitchen, which made for easy cooking for our team. The owners are proactive and respond immediately to any requests or questions. They went out of our way to make sure we had what we needed. A fun adventure for us was a tornado warning on a severe thunderstorm, which they immediately checked in on us and helped us through the storm! Amazing! Definitely will be back and hope to book one of their other properties!

Bob’s place was private, cozy, and pretty. We were warm with the wooden stove in the coldness is November. I appreciated the tiny bath house; the stained glass window was especially pretty. My partner and I warmed dinner over the smoker, and enjoyed talking at the kitchen table without the constant nagging of phones. I also enjoyed walking through the creek; there were cool bluff areas to view. I came back home feeling refreshed. There are good vibes at this place!

This is my most favorite airbnb and I've stayed in airbnb's all over the world. This is my 2nd time here and I got to share this trip with my dad and stay for longer. It is such a peaceful environment with beautiful areas to walk, beach access, and a house that truly feels like a home. Miles is the most gracious host I have ever come across. I'm looking forward to returning a few times a year. This place is an oasis for me and I'm so grateful to have found it. I highly recommend you stay here! I'll be back!

We loved the spaciousness. The extra's were the additional dogs that joined us on our walks and looking up at the stars without light pollution. So sad that we were unable to enjoy your fresh milk and eggs. Highly recommend!

This was a great place to get away for the weekend. We picked this location because of it's distance from any major cities. There was very little light pollution. A perfect place to set up our telescope., and look at stars.

My family of four had a lovely stay at Jon's place. The surroundings and property were peaceful; a nice getaway from the busyness of life. Jon was quick to respond to my questions and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. We did several hikes at Knob Noster and enjoyed the coffee and plant shops in town. Highly recommend. We would stay again!

For me this was a business trip and Gretchen and Doug were AMAZING hosts and did everything they said they would to provide and some to provide a beautiful AND peaceful place for me to come back to after a long day from work! I really enjoyed the grounds and seeing the horses especially because I am also a horse owner and this was one of the biggest things that first drew me to her listing. But after I got there, she offered so much more in how warm and welcoming her and Doug was as well as everyone that happened to be at their farm that day. It truly is a hidden gem.

This house is gorgeous and the pictures didn’t do it justice. We stayed with 3 families (6 adults and 5 kids) and everyone loved it and wants to go back. The house has tons of perks like the pavilion (was just a bit too chilly and windy for us to utilize) and the deck. I really appreciated the coffee set up and all the extras the hosts had thought of. The only con is how far you have to drive to do anything (we came out to fish and find trails to hike and explore) but that isn’t the hosts fault and we knew that going in!

I’ve rented many places but this was by far the most personalized. Our Host was amazing and accommodating and very caring. I always felt like I was talking to a best friend.

The place is lovely, and great for our business retreat. The bedrooms were spaces appropriately that we each had a feeling of privacy. We had many options for group breakouts and the table in the kitchen allowed for great discussions and fantastic group work. Nancy was very responsive as a host and accommodated our requests. The surroundings were quiet and great area for walking when we needed a break. The only thing that was not as advertised is there are not two kitchens, the one on the main level worked for our needs. Thanks so much for a great place to host our business retreat!!

Funk’s Inn is definitely a blast from the past. We had a wonderful time experiencing what a home from the 1800’s was like with some modern amenities in place for our pleasure. Lance is a very thoughtful host and we would rent from him again.

Aaron's beautiful little barn house was a perfect stop for our road trip! They had all the necessary amenities for us and it was extremely peaceful. Would highly recommend if you're looking to escape city life!

Love the farm setting. Super sweet animals. The place was very loved inside and out. She was very flexible with our pets and the change in original plans. I would recommend this place.

Fourth time staying here as an overnight when driving through the area. Always clean, parking spot right out front, and well lit for taking a dog out at night. There's also a park just down the street. I find it much cheaper and convenient to stay here with a dog than at a hotel (or other AirBnB) closer to Kansas City.

We loved our stay. Excellent host, extremely peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Cozy little cottage perfect for 2. Comfortable bed and couch. Exactly like photos. We will definately stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elaine’s place! Beautiful peaceful surroundings with easy check in and a cute cozy stay. Only things that could be improved is the mattresses on the bunk beds and if there could be WiFi. Regardless of these I would still definitely recommend as a good airbnb!
