Shirley is a lovely and gentle lady. I came to London to settle down and have been staying here for about a month while looking for my next rental. I feel at home with her, especially when we watch TV during dinner time. Haha.

Great place! Clean home and Anamaria was very hospitable. The neighborhood is really nice and diverse. The Herne Hill transit station is a short walk away, taking you straight to Victoria where you can then transfer to other lines. Bus stops are in super close distance too. Loved the retail stores and restaurants in the area.

This is our second time staying at Tammy’s place and we had a fantastic stay again! Tammy left us a lovely bottle of Prosecco and some chocolates for being returning customers. The house is beautiful, the perfect size for 6 friends that don’t want to stay in a hotel. Bedrooms are horrors and beautifully made up and it has everything you need to feel right at home. Area feels so safe and you can walk to the tube or even the O2 if you fancy a longer walk. Otherwise it’s a 5 min Uber. Will definitely stay again x

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

Lyn & Gavin were wonderful hosts! Their home was welcoming and beautiful. Both creatives, their space reflects this with great art, decor and personal touches throughout. I stayed in the Garden room, which was set back from the others, which allowed for extra privacy and peacefulness. I slept like a baby. My room was just down the hall from the bathroom, which was well equipped with many amenities and always spotless. Gavin’s sourdough was delicious! I enjoyed it with butter & soft boiled eggs some days and Nutella & bananas on others. The breakfast spread was superb. I’m glad I was able to start my days with a hearty meal before bopping around London. Lyn was so kind to let me borrow her jacket for a chilly day and recommended a spot where I could pick up a quick sweater. All in all — a lovely stay and I’d definitely choose their place again.

The host was very nice, we had a great time! There’s a fried chicken place nearby that’s cheap and good too. Everything is well prepared and is very clean when we checked in. The location is walkable to both the train station and bus station.

L'accueil était chaleureux, et Mara est bienveillante et attentionnée Seul petit bémol : l’emplacement un peu éloigné du centre de Londres, nécessitant environ une heure de trajet en voiture. Mais pour ceux qui recherchent le calme après une journée en ville, c'est un bon choix

I would recommend Anna’s Palm House unreservedly. A cute and very clean 3-bedroom house in a residential neighbourhood that felt safe and friendly. Walking distance to a full grocery store, Costa coffee shop, and various restaurants and take-outs. Lovely, well-maintained, and private backyard space. Easy driving distance to a number of villages, towns, and interesting sights. Anna was very responsive and we had no difficulty finding the house, getting in, and getting comfortable. We had everything we needed for making our own meals, plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, and dishes. Anna even left us milk, bread, spread, and jam. Basic condiments were there. Thank you for that convenience, Anna. Well worth the cost.

This flat was very comfortable for our party of three. The kitchen was well appointed and fully functional. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The location was very convenient to portabello road and it’s many shops and eateries and convenient to bus and tube lines. Check in and out were easy.

We spent a week at Wim’s place, and a few things stood out. Wim is a warm and excellent communicator. His directions were very clear and useful, and he made recommendations for local activities as well. He’s very responsive and it was very easy for us to get in touch with him anytime before and during the trip. The location is fantastic! 2-3 minutes walk from Leicester square station, and with plenty of walkable streets and things to do! The apartment itself was very practical and very nicely stocked. We really felt at home coming back to the apartment after busy days of walking and sightseeing. If back in London, will surely book it again!

It’s safe to say that this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had to date. It’s so nice when a host is responsive, but it’s even better when they are friendly, hospitable, and kind. Maxine has an amazing place to stay, and it’s especially a perfect place for those visiting a friend, or family member at goldsmiths university. Although the location is far from most areas in London, it’s not a problem using public transportation to get back at night. Along with the place being very nice, it has ample hot water and a great main bathroom, a nice living room, and one of the most comfortable beds. Along with all this good, Maxine also has fitted the bathroom with her own bath products, that include a great smelling shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. I highly recommend this stay, for its cost, comfort, and amazing host, if you visit London.

Me and my best friend made it to get the tickets for the new year's eve fireworks in London. But we still needed a place to stay and with Alice we've made the perfect choice. Alice is a very kind and helpful person. She gave us clear information (pictures, instructions) how to get into the flat. Also she gave us many information about how to getting around. The flat itself is very comfy. It has two floors with two bedrooms on the upper stairs and a living room and kitchen downstairs. Everything was clean and we found a small collection of tea in the kitchen offered for us. The area is a quiet one, very close to Canary Wharf. You can easily get to the city by ferry, bus or tube (either take the bus to tube or have a 15 min walk) All in all we made a great experience celebrating new year in London and staying at Alice's place. Thank you so much for everything! Highly recommended!

Enzo and his mom are incredibly helpful and friendly. When we faced issues with the electricity, they would help us immediately. They are also very caring and did their best to ensure we are comfortable and satisfied with the stay. They are super generous with food and would sometimes bring down pizza for us. Thank you for having us and we had fun staying over! We would book again if we are staying in London! ❤️

Our family (2 adults with 3 teenagers) stayed at Jen & Matt’s place for 6 nights in March 2025. It was perfect for us. Lots of space and all the amenities we needed. We were on an early arriving flight and they allowed us early access to the flat, which was a lifesaver for that first day. The flat is in a lovely family-oriented neighbourhood with the beautiful Queen’s Park nearby. It is totally outside of the hustle and bustle of London, but right on the Bakerloo Line which allows super easy access to all the sights. It is also on the Lionness line which takes you directly to Watford Junction where you catch the shuttle to Warner Bros Studios to visit the Harry Potter sets. It couldn’t be better situated in my opinion. Jen & Matt provided milk, eggs, butter, jam, crumpets, tea and coffee to get us started, which was a really nice touch. There is a Tesco Express nearby, so it was easy to buy groceries. I did a load of laundry and everything worked fine. Highly recommend!

We've stayed her 3-4 times now and it's great. We keep coming back because it's very comfortable. Unlike a lot of places the couch is comfy, as are the chairs and beds. We can cook dinner, pop downstairs to 2-3 different markets, plus several pubs and restaurants, and bring food back. The nearby pedestrian zone even has a Marks and Spence market that's very nice (think Whole Foods). The area is great. Two very convenient trains and several buses. We like to walk and often go through London Fields to Broadway market. Kingsland Road is good for Turkish food, an interesting African market and a Pret a Manger. The host, Zoe, is extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back if we go back to Hackney again.

Very good location and close to the city center. It is very convenient because there is a M&S nearby. The metro station is only 5 min and you could take the Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus within 20 min. Anna is very helpful and responsive to questions.

Deborah was PHENOMENAL!!! It was an absolute joy and privilege to stay in her beautiful home in Hampstead. She is a seasoned and passionate host who loves getting to know her guests and curated an experience tailored to our interests. Deborah went out of her way to give us local recommendations, make restaurant reservations, and commuting tips. Her home is elegant, cozy, and very clean with several accommodations. I’m looking forward to staying with her when I visit Hampstead again in the future.

Fiona was so pleasant throughout our stay. Our breakfast conversations were amazing, and she always wanted to help us however she could. She was flexible with our check-in and check-out. Thank you!

We had a really great stay at the house of Sallie and her lovely dog Jack. The environment is great and we can recommend a walk on the thames, it is close by. There are also many ways to get to the inner city of London by public transport. Sallie was a great host and we enjoyed spending time at here place.

Margaret and her husband, Morris are warm and welcoming. They both were very helpful. Margaret is responsible for their guests and she is very competent - right on top of things all the time. I found the quiet, comfortable space I was looking for. She provided a great breakfast and I enjoyed meeting them and chatting to them. Great stay.

Patricia's house is lovely. My two teens and I stayed in three rooms at the top floor. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms very clean. The house has lots of historical features and is nicely decorated. Patricia made sure we had a great breakfast, with eggs, fruits, cakes and croissant. Polesden Lacey is only a 30-min walk from the house and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunity for long nice walks. Nice spot for visiting this part of England.

Super stay in comfortable spacious room. Leroy is a joy to chat with, he gave us lots of helpful suggestions: places to eat, visit and suggestions to get around. Definitely recommend!
