Peaceful, Quiet, & Close to Town

I’ve only stayed at a few air bnbs, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had. Kirsten was extremely helpful before, during, and after our stay. She left us a binder with info on how to use each appliance and other amenities and recommendations at and around the house. (Nothing tricky, but very useful). It was great to have a big kitchen to cook meals in along with a gas grill on the deck with chairs and patio furniture ready for peaceful dinners outside. The location is very private with wildlife all over, yet only minutes from anywhere in Columbia. You could tell this is someone’s home not just an empty rental unit. She has everything you’d need or want there and only a text away if you have any questions. This will be the first place I look for on future trips to Columbia. If you enjoy watching deer with your morning coffee or after dinner drink with a fire on the porch, while only minutes from Mizzou, this is the place for you. Thank you Kirsten for making our stay great!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Columbia, MO! The space was clean, cozy, and had a really welcoming vibe—perfect for a relaxing visit. It was in a great location, just a short drive from downtown, Mizzou’s campus, and all the local shops and restaurants. The host was fantastic—super responsive and made check-in a breeze. Whether you’re visiting for a game day, a campus tour, or just to explore the area, this is a perfect place to stay. Highly recommend!

Relax at the Lake House Inn!

Unser Aufenthalt (4 Wochen) war das Beste was uns passieren konnte. Beth ist eine super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns immer ein gutes Gefühl gegeben hat. Es war jetzt kalter Winter und wir kamen in ein sehr gemütliches warmes Zuhause, das bestens ausgestattet war. Die Dusche war ein Genuss und es gab immer heißes Wasser. Die absolute Krönung war noch der Billardtisch . Es war eine wundervolle Zeit, ein Glücksfall!!!! Danke Beth❣️

This home is as charming as Moberly itself. Sets on the corner just off of downtown. Everything you need within walking distance. (Driving distance because it was cold). If you missed staying at Grandma's house growing up-here's your chance. The decor matches the hardwood floors and pocket doors. Just lovely!

Custom home with loads of indoor and outdoor space

Great place to house a large group. We were able spread out and have enough room so that we could all get ready in the morning without big traffic jams in the bathrooms. Would definitely consider renting here again.

Kit Carson’s Cottage at the trail walk to downtown

Amanda’s place was better than the pictures! So much space yet so cozy and comfortable. The secret bedroom off of the lounge was a fun touch and we loved it! We were there for New Year’s Eve and had a reservation at The General Store for dinner and live music. It was a fantastic time. Amanda also gave us some local recommendations. She was a great host! We had the best time and definitely recommend booking here!!

Jackie and Kristen are great hosts. Their home was immaculate, nice and quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, and within walking distance to numerous attractions the city of Boonville has to offer. I spoke with Kristen many times over the course of our stay, she is very helpful and kind, I really enjoyed our conversations. I will be staying with them in the future. I highly recommended staying with Jackie and Kristen.

Beautiful Grass Wall Home

Keondre's home is lovely. We were close to Mizzou and all that Columbia has to offer, just like we needed. This duplex home is in a quiet neighborhood and we felt perfectly at home. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed our stay! The location is walkable to downtown and a variety of restaurants. The house was clean, comfortable and updated. The kitchen is well stocked with great appliances. The host was responsive and left a list of local recommendations that we enjoyed.

Awesome place that is newly constructed (a few years old). Super friendly host, super nice setup. Will be staying again. I have to give a top review because the host and her place deserve it, but I’m hoping the calendar isn’t full when I want to return!

Cozy little farm house

We enjoyed our stay at Matt's place. Matt came and met us, talked and got to know us like good friends. The home is secluded just like we had hoped and very easy to find. Plenty of beds for our group to rest. We were able to see wild deer roam and drink from the pond. If we ever need to be back in the area, this would be our choice again.

Shawn & Betsy provided detailed instructions about how to find the house, which was important because maps apps don’t get you there. They were both proactive and responsive. The house was exactly as advertised. There was more than enough space to accommodate our group of 5. Great hosts!

We were moving cross country and looking for a place to crash for the night with our pups. This place was perfect for that. It’s not too far off the interstate so a very quick detour but it’s also very private, long dirt road. We had a great night’s sleep in this cozy cottage!
