Absolutely loved our peaceful stay. Tracey and Mark were very attentive and friendly, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of our highlights was the Italian themed delicious dinner cooked for us! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a mini spa break to switch off.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Exceptional hosts. There is so much to do nearby. We can’t wait to visit again in the future.

Wow! What an amazing cottage, so beautiful and secluded Stayed here with friends and my dog. Safe to say we all loved it! The kitchen was so amazing and the hot tub was nice and warm ready for us straight away to get in! Only thing we found was we weren’t sure if it was a family home as there was a lot of photos of family kids at the beach etc which we found it didn’t make it feel as homely for us just felt like we were in someone’s house for the weekend but the cottage it self and Miranda’s communication was perfect.

Our few days here were amazing, the weather was beautiful which just made the whole experience even better, the views are insane and the log burner inside was so cosy, we also used the hot tub, bbq and the outdoor heater and we’re all bonuses to the already amazing barn. Never thought I’d wake up to the sound of cows but let me tell you, it’s definitely something you’ll have to do once and have a coffee outside with them was just astonishing! Great communication and answered all questions promptly, will definitely come back!

Lovely stay in peaceful surroundings. Beautiful view from the hot tub/ garden with sheep for neighbours! Kitchen best equipped we’ve ever stayed in with free range eggs provided and well stocked essentials. Comfy bed, warm cottage and would love to stay again. Claire is very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend

Wonderful stay at Apple Barn, Alan and Davina are fantastic hosts. We arrived to a wonderful welcome basket with a delicious home made lemon cake, even the dogs had a lovely little welcome basket which was so thoughtful. Peaceful and stylish stay with fab walks nearby or great day trips out and about. Perfect little getaway with the hot tub to unwind and reset!

A beautifully kept cottage with plenty to do within walking distance, friendly locals, and an unlimited amount of nature to explore. Ceri and Daniel are great hosts, and clearly care about their guests! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, would highly recommend.

Great communication, we were greeted by Badger the resident puppy, and of course the owner Lou, who was so friendly and nice. She gave us a rundown of the place and how to use the wood fired heater to the tub in great detail. Around the airbnb itself were loads of laminated cards with information on the tub, the coffee machine, and the place itself. We got given free eggs, milk and apple juice, which were all lovely. The place was exactly as advertised and the wifi was better than we expected.

I have stayed at a lot of Air B&Bs. But none of them come close to this property. If I’m honest, the photos & description do not do it justice. It has EVERYTHING you need. Every detail of this property is perfect, feels like home, so comfy, incredibly clean!! I needed a peaceful break to escape reality and this provided just that & more. Thank you so much, we will be back!

We had the most wonderful Christmas stay at this lovely cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious layout and how well equipped everything was. The cottage had all the amenities we needed to make our holiday special, from a good-sized kitchen to comfortable living spaces. Located in a quiet area just a stone's throw from the beach and cliffs, it offered us the perfect blend of relaxation and stunning views. Our host was incredibly responsive and made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or simply checking in to see if we needed anything, their hospitality was outstanding. This cottage is ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the festive season in a beautiful setting. We can’t recommend it enough and are already hoping to return soon!

This cottage is an absolute gem! Really cosy and comfortable, with stunning views across the bay. For us it was the perfect base for meeting up with family in Plymouth. Everything was pristine and as photographed in the details, and communicating with William was a dream.

Spotlessly clean hideaway. So peaceful yet minutes walk from the centre of Dawlish. Completely safe walled garden for the dogs. Train station 5min away, great coastal scenery in all directions. Nice walk to Dawlish Warren and plenty of places to eat and drink. 3 generations and suited us all. Would highly recommend.

Sally was a great host - the cottage was as described, clean and tidy, and perfectly peaceful, really off the beaten track. However, there was good access to to the local North Cornwall coast, and we spent a lot of time at nearby Bude which has fab beaches. The location is perfect if you are looking for a secluded getaway, and the hot tub an excellent way to spend an afternoon. Sally was responsive, helpful and very knowledgeable! She even left a lovely easter egg hunt around the cottage for our children - thank you, Sally!

The Old Shop Cottage is a beautiful home with easy and close access to one of the most stunning beaches on the South Coast of England! Thank you! Easy access to the South Coast Walk. We will definitely be back!

Jenni and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated and also very cosy. It was also easy to find with the what 3 words app. The cottage is on a farm and has very peaceful surroundings. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Really charming cottage, exactly what you’d hope for from a country escape, the bathroom in the bedroom was the icing on the cake! The beams, the log fire, the little patio garden it was all so idyllic, we’ll definitely be adding to our list of favourites, thank you so much.

Das Wuggle Cottage war ein bezaubernder Rückzugsort. Es strahlte eine Gemütlichkeit aus, die man selten findet. Der Kamin im Wohnzimmer machte die Abende perfekt und hielt uns an zwei Tagen angenehm warm. Es war die perfekte Mischung aus traditionellem Charme und heimeliger Atmosphäre. 🌲🔥

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Eleanor’s cottage. The location is great, really close to the centre of Totness with quick access to great beaches and stunning countryside. Eleanor has some great recommendations in her welcome folder, particular faves were the independent cinema, Indian restaurant and Man beach. The house is well decorated and furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. We hope to visit again

The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for a stay. The Log Burner was easy to use and heated the whole house. Julie was responsive and helpful and it was an excellent place to stay.

A cosy cottage, with delightful wonkiness. We made use of the log burner, as it was still chilly in February. A quiet location which was an easy walk into town (with a real kicker of a hill at the end though – I’m glad it wasn’t icy!). David’s Fish & Chips were great as recommended, and Albero’s in town did delicious Italian style seafood. I’d happily stay again.

fantastic host and great place to stay with a group, the host and co host are always on hand to help. I would recommend for anyone and definitely stay again.
