Relaxing, calm and tranquil. We had a wonderful stay at Casal Sikelio in September 2024. The family owners are so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated and immaculate. The housekeeping staff were so friendly and never hesitated to smile and say “Bunongiorno” every morning. We slept so soundly and the bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on clouds. Exceptional quality customer service and we’d like to make a special acknowledgment and mention Desirée, she was so helpful with superior knowledge of the local area, sharing recommendations when we were planning our trips to Noto, Ortigia, Siracusa. The grounds are glorious, a hidden Oasis. The gardens are just beautiful with an array of flowers and fruits such as banana trees, lemons, prickly pears, pomegranate and chilli plants all in bloom and tended to with care and attention to detail. The pool within the grounds is spectacular, so clean, warm and tranquil. We swam everyday. Bellissimo!

Die Wohnung entspricht wirklich gut dem, was auf den Fotos dargestellt ist. Wir haben zu Zehnt eine wunderbare Woche dort verbracht. Wir hatten das ganze Apartment für uns. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer war sehr gut, es ist wirklich praktisch dass jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Besser als erwartet waren auch die Balkone, es gibt mehrere davon. Das Service war top, wir hatten immer neue Handtücher und gute Reinigung. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben viel gekocht und es gab auch Salz und Gewürze. Die Küche ist sehr nett. Avola ist eine netter, ruhiger kleine Stadt die sich gut eignet, um von dort Unternehmungen zu starten. Gerne wieder!

The apartment was perfect for what we needed. Simple, clean and efficient. Alessia sent helpful information to get around the town and even arranged our cab for early morning departure. We loved having the different bins labeled for sorting recycling-nice addition. Everything felt clean and really thoughtful. The smaller beds are regular twins not xl twins so perfect for those under 6 feet tall. Overall great stay for a group of friends or family traveling together. The room is cute and simple with some fun touches. Loved the quote on the wall. We also found check in and check out super easy.

Wir waren zu zweit hier und waren sehr zufrieden. Es war sehr wenig los und wir hatten den Pool für uns alleine. Der Zugang zum Meer ist auch gut über die Treppe direkt vom Pool runter zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft selbst ist insgesamt gut in Schuss, nur be der Küche könnte etwas nachgebessert werden, die ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Insgesamt hat aber alles gepasst. Ein Sonnenschirm wäre auf dem Balkon noch super, den gibt’s leider nicht.

We had a wonderful stay at Casal Sikelio! The place was clean with everything we needed, and the pool and gardens were beautiful! Antonio and the team at reception were so helpful, from checking us in, providing advice on places to go, and ordering us pizza to eat on the terrace. We can’t wait to come back to Sicily!

Super schöne Unterkunft, gelegen in einer großzügigen Gartenanlage mit grandiosem Pool. Gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück laden zum Entspannen oder einem Aperitif ein. Antonio ist ein toller Gastgeber, der rasch auf alle unsere Fragen reagiert hat. Der große BBQ ist frei verfügbar und auch an den schönen Zitronenbäumen dürfen sich Gäste bedienen. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber, die Küche gut ausgestattet und das Bett wirklich bequem. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan zwei Nächte länger geblieben sind.

Pokój bardzo mam się podobał. Gospodyni miła i pomocna. Zmieniła swoje plany, gdy w ostatniego chwili daliśmy znać o naszej godzinie przyjazdu. Śniadanie smaczne :) polecam

Excellent séjour, très bel appartement extrêmement bien situé. Nous avons passés 3 nuits et avons regretté de ne pas y être restés plus longtemps. Un parking est situé a 3 min de l’appartement, réservé à notre nom pour notre arrivée par Giuseppe. Giuseppe est attentionné, bienveillant, accueillant, aidant, disponible et d’excellents conseils ! Notre vol a eu 2h20 de retard, nos bagages n’ont pas été embarqués à Paris, il a fallu faire les démarches … et Giuseppe était là malgré une arrivée très tardive ! Il nous a trouvé un parking (celui réservé ferme à 23h) et nous a déposé à l’appartement. A l’arrivée, des fruits, de l’eau, du petit déjeuner, des pâtes, de la sauce … et une excellente bouteille de vin blanc à déguster sur la terrasse … ou ailleurs ! Un grand merci encore à Giuseppe pour son accueil, nous reviendrons ! allez-y les yeux fermés !!

We were so impressed with this apartment and our wonderful host. The apartment was immaculately presented, spacious, and functioned well. It would be perfect for a family or shared with two couples as the bedrooms and bathrooms are separated; very We were also impressed with the food and beverages Guiseppe provided which was plentiful and of good quality. It was very generous and much appreciated. The location was central and secluded. We were easily able to walk around all of Ortigia and into Siracusa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.
