“We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb for Christmas. The space was much larger than we expected, and we were pleasantly surprised by the three extra bedrooms. It gave us plenty of room to relax and spread out. The kids loved the pools. Overall, a wonderful experience – highly recommend!”

We spent several weeks at Lisa’s place and loved every moment. Lisa was super communicative and always on hand if we had a question. We liked being situated in Melville which is easily walkable and has lots of unique places to visit, especially the cafes on 7th street, 27 Boxes and morning walks up on the Koppies which are a must if staying in the area. Thanks again Lisa for being a great host, we hope to stay again!

This was our second stay at Jacquie's place. The townhouse's location is ideal if you like privacy and peace. Inside everything is neat, and everything you need is there, including coffee maker and air fryer. The air-conditioner is sufficient to cool the whole unit and an evaporative cooler is available when needed. Everything was in place and easy to find. There were clear instructions to use everything, including the generator. I would definitely recommend it, even for longer stays. Thanks again Jacquie for making everything so easy and comfortable.

It was a pleasure staying at Charmaine’s. The house is spacious, very well equipped and comfortable - a real home away from home. The garden was also a welcome distraction for the kids. I would stay there again with pleasure. Thank you for everything Charmaine and Stefan we were so grateful for the house during a difficult few days. We felt safe and comfortable.

What a wonderful weekend away we had at Linda and Peter’s place. It had everything we could have wanted. A lovely, easy to work in kitchen. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beds were so comfy. The view was wonderful from the stoep. I haven’t seen so many stars in a long time. While our hosts ensured we had everything we needed, they gave us privacy. I have no doubt we will head back there sometime in the new year.

Victor was an amazing host. I was there for a week and nothing was too much trouble for him. He bought some extra things that I needed - a fan, a toaster. Having Victor on the same property was also very reassuring as I am recovering from surgery and felt a little vulnerable. I would strongly recommend this stay as everything worked well and I felt incredibly welcome. Definitely would go back under similar circumstances! Thanks Victor

Wonderful short stay at Ingrids place. Pristine accomodation in beautiful suburb with easy access to transport/e hailing services. Host is super friendly and attended to all my needs.

The property was perfect for our group with enough space and privacy for all. The kitchens were well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay. Daniel was very responsive and helpful. Will be back.

Awesome place! Super host! Great/safe area. Plenty of room to spread out. Peaceful river in the back. Everything was absolutely great during our stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Dawn was very responsive, warm and welcoming. My stay was delightful and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings in a quiet neighbourhood. Private space with a covered deck for relaxation or movement practice (yoga etc) Spacious kitchen and bathroom. Room / lounge equally spacious and comfortable. Proper ventilation in all areas. I needed just to rest and restore otherwise I would have made use of the gym and swimming pool. A beautiful elevated sanctuary.

What can I say?! An incredible spot to spend a few peaceful days in the city. it felt like a home away from home the second we walked through the door. Our hosts were fantastic and made us and our pups feel welcome the entire time we were there. The pool was a delight, and the view over Sandton was glorious. I can't recommend Alex & Gideon, or their cottage, highly enough.

Such a thoughtfully organized home. Much thought has gone in to the added extras. So easy to stay, right down to reusable shopping bags for guests to use. I am couldn't have been more thoughtful and concerned about our comfort during unscheduled sudden load shedding. The place is central and surprisingly peaceful right in the middle of Sandton. Will definitely return.

I had a wonderful stay at Nora's beautiful and cozy cottage. The place was clean and peaceful. Sunday was a delight with her son playing beautiful piano music during his visit. Nora was always available to assist with anything, even providing a storeroom for my extra luggage. I can't wait for my second visit and will definitely return to enjoy this serene spot again!

I had a wonderful long-term stay at this Airbnb! The space was comfortable, clean, and felt like home. The host was incredible—super friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help with anything. The location was perfect- quiet, yet close to shops, restaurants, and transport. I loved being able to explore the area easily while enjoying a calm, safe neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay!

I had a great time at Rose’s place. Very spacious and private. Rose welcomed me by the gate even though I arrived at night and she was hospitable. The check-in and check-out times were very flexible. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Chris’s even with our days being extremely rainy. The indoor fire became a daily essential to dry our clothes and make the place cosy. Chris was great at communicating, and responsive when we had troubles getting into the gated community entrance (new security system in place) it looks like the photos, there is a lot of security at the home with initially intimidating locks and bars on windows, but we felt safe and met some friendly locals. Recommend the kosmos cafe and the walk along the lake, and good hikes nearby. Thanks Chris!

Great flexible space! The space can cater for small and larger crowds. We make fully use of this flexibility during our trip.

We had the most wonderful stay. We came in as guests and leaving as friends. June is a wonderful warm person. We enjoyed every minute here. June is the perfect hosts! Thanks again for hosting us June. We LOVE this cottage and will miss it greatly.

The cottage is small but cosy and is equipped to stay a few days. The bed is very comfortable. The place is quiet and private. There is a secure parking space. The wifi was a bit unstable but I managed to do my job no problem.

I don’t have words to describe what a wonderful place this is!! Absolutely worth every penny and so comfortable we felt right at home with my family!!

Wow, what a stunning place and what a lovely stay, from the smallest details everything was perfection. As a person who stayed at quite a few places around the world, I must say our stay was definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed. We will definitely stay here again everytime we are in Johannesburg.
