Maria & Mike’s beautiful place was a 5 star accommodation! The beds were comfortable, the robes cozy and the apartment spotless. Communication was quick & easy. We look forward to returning next year.

When life gets hectic and overwhelming, this place is the perfect little getaway. It smells wonderfully of wood and is so cozy. As a city girl I love that they made it easy to stay in the woods and enjoy the lake, including things like life vests and pre chopped wood and fire starter kindling. Very quiet and restorative and perfect for a girl and her dog. Definitely will return for a longer stay.

Great little spot. Convenient location off of highway to access either Saratoga, Albany, and/or surrounding areas. The shower is small, but we were well aware of that prior to booking. Check-in was super easy, and communication with host was pleasant and prompt. Certainly would book again if traveling to that area.

I can't remember how many times I've stayed with John and Caroline. Six? Seven? Eight? Alway wonderful. Hospitality, charm, and beauty. In elegant comfort. But this time even the weather was absolutely perfect. Balmy. Sunny. Late autumn color. But why read this review? Just look at the photos. I rest my case.

Michael and Candice were super responsive and never left me hanging. The place was a really fun place in a fun location so you never run out of things to do! My fiance and I had a lot of fun with our two dogs.

My mom and I needed a place to stay close to the Skidmore campus for parents weekend. The place was perfect for us. It was close to campus and really easy to get into town to soak in all of Saratoga. The apartment was even more beautiful in person, clean, bright, and with every amenity you could imagine. There were snacks – even Ben & Jerry’s mini sundaes in the freezer! My daughter loved those! Sheri called me the night we checked in and we met her the next day. She was warm and friendly, and had lots of suggestions for us. It was a really comfortable space to rest, hang out, and make meals if we didn’t feel like going out to eat. It was a perfect place to stay, and we will definitely be back!

Shawn and Maggie’s place is so charming and a perfect cozy getaway. My friend and I were in town visiting friends and family and this little apartment is in such a great central location. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with the basics & even some extra amenities, the bed is so comfortable and we loved how well the whole place was designed. Even as a studio apartment, it has very defined little areas, which makes it feel really spacious. Keep in mind the a-frame, so taller people will have to crouch near the edges, mostly using the sink in the bathroom. And the shower has a pretty small footprint, so just a heads up for people who want more room. As short people, we loved our time and have recommended it to out friends in the area when they need somewhere for loved ones to stay. Such a great find!
