We had a great time at this house. Everything was perfect, Jess was extremely responsive and always available. So we definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to have a great time away from the hustle and bustle!

Great cottage, very homey and has everything you need. Jordan was very responsive before and during the trip. My family enjoyed celebrating New Years here and would definitely consider revisiting during the summer months.

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

We were here for a girls weekend with 5 people and a small dog. The place was very cozy and had everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub! The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking elaborate meals, Aoyon was very responsive, and we had a great time. Would go back!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly inviting. The highlight for us was the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The barbecue area was also great for cooking meals outdoors while enjoying the fresh air. Being right by the lake made the experience even more special – we loved waking up to the stunning views and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, this place was the perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and relaxation. Highly recommend! Kevin was proactively ensuring we were comfortable. Would definitely revisit in the summer!

To start, this is what an Airbnb should be when someone lists “secluded and quiet”. Couple days away from the 9-5 craziness was exactly what this property provided. Parul communicated quick and efficiently, and was readily available when messaged with any questions. Property is amazing, even during the winter (Hot tub is an awesome little added bonus). The furry pals that came along (2 German shepherds) had a blast as well. Looking forward to returning in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to stay to anyone.

Rebecca is an excellent host! We were getting out of a disastrous Airbnb and she took us in last minute no problem, even let us have an early check in. Place is lovely, quiet and relaxing. Host is super responsive. I would only note that the internet isn’t great, so don’t expect to work while there, but why would you? Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and relaxing hot tub instead! Will definitely be back 🤩

My fiancee and I wanted a place where we could experience winter with our 14 month old son. This cottage was perfect. It's on a beautiful, quiet, large piece of property. There was so much snow on the ground but we were still able to enjoy ourselves! There was a massive snow storm coming so unfortunately we had to end our visit early. The inside of the cottage is set up beautifully and has everything you should need. Our son is just learning to walk and had a blast zooming around the main floor. Even though we had to leave early we still enjoyed our stay and would love to check it out again. Luke, Kelce, Grady

Amazing cottage! unique and thoughtful! loved it!

Our stay was great! No issues whatsoever, host was accommodating and friendly, house had everything we needed, we stayed for work, so didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit with wood provided which I thought was very nice of the hosts! Water was not potable but the hosts leave you lots of drinking water, and water to make coffee!!

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Warren was a great host and very readily available to respond. The cottage was even nicer than described and how it came across in pictures. Everything there to enjoy an amazing stay and take in the beautiful and peaceful space. Great winter getaway and could only imagine how great it would be in the summer. One of those places ya wish you were there for a longer stay.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

We had an amazing stay at Caroline’s place. A very relaxing weekend getaway. The place smelled clean as soon as you walked in. The beds were so comfortable and clean. The sauna was amazing while it was snowing, very cool feature !! Has everything you need from entertainment to dishes, we finished a couple puzzles while we were there and there were tons of games and the tv has surround sounds so it was great for hockey games and movies! Would love to stay again in the summer. The description of the place was 100% accurate. Thanks for hosting us !!

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay here. It was truly an escape that we got to experience. Great hosts, great place, great atmosphere! The only knock I think I have is that the photos do not do justice!! This place was homey and beautiful, not to say the photos aren’t that but they don’t do it justice! We will surely be back if we’re in Bancroft again!!

This place is such a gem. Attention to detail and comfort was incredible. Our girls’ weekend was perfection. The sauna is a must, the view from the hot tub is gorgeous (even in an icestorm), the pottery for coffee was stunning, the beds were soooo comfortable, loads of towels for all of our spa activities, heated floors and a stellar Woodstove. The only problem is that with all of these amenities, you don’t want to leave to explore the area… that’s why next time we will book a longer stay! Thank you Ken and Rachel for this little slice of heaven.

Our stay was perfect, chalet had everything you could ask for and more! We stayed for work so we didn’t get a chance to go to the beach, or play any of the ample board games, but the kitchen was wonderfully stocked and the shower had great water pressure! Could not have asked for a better stay!

Jilaine’s cottage was the perfect setting for our cozy girls’ weekend. We couldn’t get over the stunning views and how beautiful & cozy the space was! We happened to be here on one of the snowiest weekends in years. The driveway was promptly cleared twice and the cottage road was plowed regularly despite the storms. Jilaine was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. We hope to come back again soon!

Myself and my family spent a great memorable weekend at Slav's place on the lake. The house and settings were perfect. The place was clean and new, without clutter, and still very comfortable. The host was proactive and very responsive. Thank you, Slav and I hope to return shortly.

We had a very relaxing, peaceful time at the cottage, it is the perfect place to recharge! Everything in the description is true. The place is spotless, tastefully done, awesome woodstove with wood supplied. The kitchen spice cupboard is a dream. The host even has some coffee if you run low. Everything is top of the line, what a treat! Another treat is feeding the birds, chipmunks, red squirrels and a friendly black one. Jars of food to share with our furry friends! This is our second time visiting. The location is easy to find and down the road from Apsley.Definitely worth the drive! Thanks Stephen we'll visit again.

Mihaela's cottage was a lovely little place surrounded by trees. Despite its location deep down the cottage roads, it took less than 15 minutes to drive wherever we needed to go (Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon, Kawartha Highlands Signature Park). The cottage itself was comfortable and clean, but we especially enjoyed the lovely firepit and jacuzzi 😄 Mihaela was also a responsive and understanding host, leaving plenty of clear instructions and responding to questions in record time. Overall we had a great stay and I would happily recommend this cottage to others!

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, has everything you need. We stayed the week of valentines and couldn’t have asked for more. I could only imagine how perfect it would be in the summer with the water sports and many other amenities this property offers. Erika and Adam were kind and responsive and helped us with all our needs!! Definitely would go again.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.

Really enjoyed our stay, lots of space and lovely view off the lake. It was a bit cold, even with the heating, but we were able to make a fire which helped. Only issue is that the dump is only open certain days, which would have been helpful to know, but we managed to find other places to take it. Also, there were some amenities like towels, soap etc already there which was helpful. local foodland only 10 min drive to get other stuff and loads of lovely local walks. We had a great time.
