Even though I didn’t stay at Davide and Donatella’s place myself, my colleague Ismail did — and he said they were two of the kindest, most thoughtful hosts he’s ever met. Super helpful and easy to communicate with. They really go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The apartment is in the heart of Palermo’s historic Kalsa district, close to everything. It’s clean, quiet, comfy, with fast WiFi. Thank you, Davide and Donatella!

Loris ist ein ausserordentlich liebenswerter, engagierter Gastgeber. Bei jeder Kontaktnahme hat man gespürt, dass es ihm wichtig ist, dass seine Gäste sich wohlfühlen und es keinerlei Probleme in der Wohnung gibt oder anderweitig. Er ist uns sofort entgegengekommen bei der Anfrage zu einem späteren Check-out, was für uns eine sehr entspannte Situation war. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön gelegen in einer pittoresken Gasse, mit angenehmer, sicherer Nachbarschaft. Supermarkt, Restaurants, Bars sind alle zu Fuss rasch erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist gut durchdacht, alles ist vorhanden, aber nichts Unnützes und so sauber. Die Räume sind wunderschön hoch, luftig und gross. Die Betten sind herrlich mit angenehmer Bettwäsche. In jedem Raum hat es Klimaanlagen, welche wir zum Heizen nutzen konnten. Auf die kleine Terrasse scheint nachmittags die Sonne. Die Wohnung ist ein Bijou mit einem ausserordentlichen Gastgeber. Ich hoffe sehr nochmals dort Ferien machen zu können.

I stayed for 2.5 weeks at this flat, working during the week. It was an excellent space, really nicely designed and with all I needed for the duration. It’s really well located - right in the centre of the city, so walkable from great bars, restaurants and the energy of Palermo. Palermo is quite loud at night, and the double glazing on the windows is pretty good - but if you have trouble sleeping the centre of Palermo probably isn’t for you. The balcony is lovely and gets the sun most of the day - perfect for morning coffee. Everything worked and Gabriele was responsive and flexible, and helped whenever I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Francesco et sa femme ont été adorables, très accueillants et discrets. Le logement est situé à un emplacement idéal sur la magnifique plage de Mondello. Tout est accessible à pied ou en bus, Palerme se trouvant à 15 minutes. Francesco et sa femme nous ont offert une visite guidée de la ville. Nous recommandons chaudement ce logement !

My friend and I had never been to Sicily. This lovely well-equipped apartment so centrally placed was a wonderful start to our excellent holiday in Palermo. There was a quiet park in front of the apartment and good restaurants, cafes and bars close by as well as a Lidl supermarket. Brigitte met us when we arrived and was there to say good-bye when we left. She gave good clear instructions and good recommendations. This is a really excellent airbnb.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Wohnung in Palermo! Die Lage ist perfekt. Sie ist zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig, sodass man sowohl die Stadt erkunden als auch entspannen kann. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und hatte alles, was wir für zwei angenehme Tage gebraucht haben. Der Check-in war unkompliziert und Paola war super freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und würden definitiv wiederkommen. Klare Empfehlung!

Had a lovely stay in Capaci! Michaela and Dario were super helpful hosts. The place is large, two separate bedrooms and a large, comfy couch. Kitchen is very well stocked. Fantastic sunset views from the balcony. The beach is near, so is the train which makes it super convenient. We rented a car to explore other parts of the island, the parking spot came in handy. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Min kæreste og jeg havde en super ferie i denne bolig! Hyggeligt sted og den lille terrasse var skøn og med smuk udsigt over bjerg og hav. Der var lidt høj musik ved poolen om dagen, hvilken var lidt forstyrrende, men stranden er tæt på og var dejligt som afveksling. Ernesto er super sød og hjælpsom og hentede og bragte os til og fra lufthavnen. Derudover kom han med anbefalinger til gode oplevelser i Palermo centrum - det er nemt at komme derind med bus fra Mondello og det nød vi særligt om aftenen, når vejret var “køligt nok” til at opleve ting;-) Vi var overordnede meget tilfredse! Kan klart anbefales 🤗

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We all absolutely loved Valeria’s home from the beginning. She is so warm and welcoming. Not overbearing and very helpful. We felt like we were staying with a caring family member. The home is expansive and has a terrific worldliness to it. From the balcony you can watch the world go by and then so easily engage with it. The most beautiful beach across the road. A fantastic gastronomical super deli within a 4 minute walk and a number of good quality restaurants nearby. The people of Mondello are wonderful and I would highly recommend this abode as a base for exploring Palermo and surrounds. We alternated between beach days and exploring days which suited the family perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Thanks so much Valeria and Papa.

wir wurden herzlich begrüßt :) Super Ausblick auf beiden Seiten. Der Blick auf das Meer und den Berg ist wunderschön. Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Wohnung von Erasmo ist sehr modern und ganz neu renoviert und eingerichtet. Sie hat wunderschöne Möbel: bequemes Sofa und Betten, großer Esstisch, Kommoden etc. Die Küche ist zwar relativ klein aber auch sehr schön und mit Spülmaschine, Ofen und großem Kühlschrank sehr gut nutzbar! Es gibt 3 Balkone, super um Wäsche zu trocknen, zum Essen allerdings fast zu klein. Für einen Kaffee am Morgen bei tollem Blick auf Meer und Berge aber sehr schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch weil Erasmo sehr nett in der Kommunikation war!

If you’re looking for a modern home, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for a mansion by the sea with classic old Italian style and an unbeatable location, this is the place for you. Giovanni even hooked us up with a private chef to come to the house for one night of our trip. There’s a coffee shop, restaurant and pharmacy all within a block. This house is perfect for a large group and Giovanni has excellent communication. Thanks for hosting us Giovanni! We had a wonderful time!

I absolutely loved this place—it was exactly what I was looking for! The apartment is peaceful, perfect for relaxing, and equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. The internet connection is excellent, making it ideal for remote work. The neighborhood is charming, with small shops and plenty of restaurants serving delicious Sicilian cuisine. If, like me, you enjoy nature, there's a beautiful Nature Reserve just around the corner where you can fully appreciate the stunning landscapes of Sicily. Veronica and Marco are wonderful hosts—friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for local experiences and must-try dishes. Staying here was a fantastic experience, and I can't recommend it highly enough. You won’t regret choosing their place!

Die Unterkunft ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge auf Sizilien. Die gute Zuganbindung nach Palermo und zum Flughafen sind ein absolutes Plus. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen in einer Wohnsiedlung und der Ausblick vom Dach aufs Meer ist einfach toll.

Bendetto and his family showed us real Sicilian hospitality! Amazing host and very helpful . The place is located in walking distance to the beach. The apartment is very spacious and everything needed is provided. We had a great time !

Very nice place, spacious yet cozy and comfortable, has everything you would need, close to the city center and parking, and has an excellent host.

This place is a gem that set a bar very high for any future reservations. Building itself is not exactly posh, but when you enter the apartment it's a totally different story. Modern look, modern standard, very comfortable with almost all amenities you can think of. Two bathrooms, very spacious living space - and two balconies with best views in Palermo. We could literally sit there for a long time and watch ships come and go, including those immense cruise behemots. Stunning views 24/7. When I come back to Palermo, this will be my default place to stay.

Notre séjour chez Violetta s'est bien passé. Nous ne sommes restées qu'une nuit. Nous n'avons pas pu la voir mais tout a été bien indiqué pour une arrivée autonome. La nuit a été un peu bruyante (télé très forte du voisin de dessus). Enfin nous avons aussi eu quelques craintes par rapport à la voiture et l'emplacement des places gratuites en face de l'immeuble. Violetta nous a bien rassurées. L'emplacement est top par rapport aux visites dans Palerme.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich toll! Nur in dem kleinen Schlafzimmer war es einfach zu stickig, weil es dort keine Klimaanlage gab, und das Fenster zu öffnen, wäre zu laut gewesen in der Nacht. Aber ansonsten eine sehr schöne, geräumige Unterkunft, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die 2 Terassen waren auch toll! Zum Urlaubsort an sich (Aspra) muss man sagen, dass man ohne Auto leider nur schlecht weg kommt (es gibt aber ein paar mal am Tag einen kostenlosen shuttle) und dort wenig zu tun ist. Der Strand ist sehr nah an der Unterkunft. Er ist nicht besonders schön, aber tut seinen Zweck. Ich würde viele Tagesausflüge empfehlen, ansonsten ist es ein guter Ort für einen Detox! :)

Une des meilleures si ce n’est LA meilleure location que j’ai faite sur AIR BNB. Leti a vraiment été super accueillante et très utiles dans ses conseils et ses propositions de services annexes (transport aéroport, bagages, etc.) L’appartement est idéalement situé en front de mer dans le Mondello historique dans un coin très calme. Il est vraiment spacieux et fonctionnel et très bien orienté (le soleil le matin sur le balcon, c’est le rêve) avec une vue sur la baie 😍. Si je reviens à Mondello, c’est sur je rappelle Leti !

Die Wohnung von Marco war genau das, was wir uns für unseren Aufenthalt in Sizilien gewünscht haben. Mitten drin im Leben der Sizilianerinnen und Sizilianer. Exakt so haben wir uns Italien vorgestellt. Aspra ist ein kleines, aber keineswegs verschlafenes Dorf. Hier ist immer was los, seien es die Fischer die ihren Fang anpreisen, die Nonna die einen Plausch quer über die Straße führt, oder die Männer, die in der Eckkneipe einen Espresso trinken. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Einmal kurz über die Straße gehen und schon ist man am Meer. Es gibt direkt 2 kleine Strände wie wirklich wunderbar sind.

Our stay in Mondello was wonderful. Enrico is a responsive and very friendly host. The accommodation was pristinely clean, nicely decorated , spacious, and had a veranda with a view that can’t be beat. It is located directly across from the beach, is close to many great restaurants, walkable, safe and well lit. Enrico’s recommendations helped us to narrow down our choices.
