This was our second stay at Nick's house. As before, Nick was responsive to messages beforehand. We were able to park right outside the house. It was all clean and tidy as before. Nick kindly added an extra guitar so both my kids had one. It was very convenient for us as we were in Newport for the marathon.

I enjoyed staying at Gillian's cottage and I want to return . There is a cycle path nearby which I want to explore on lighter evenings.

A brilliant place to stay. We stayed here for a family gathering over New Years and had a full house of adults and kids. The house was great, beautifully clean, well equipped and comfortable. Anita was a great host and really proactive and helpful in her communication. Would recommend staying here

This was our third stay at the lovely barn and I’m sure we will be back in future. Lots of character, beautiful, peaceful surroundings with a few pubs within a couple of miles walk. Diana was a great host as ever, overall another very enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely visit. The accommodation is perfectly placed to explore Herefordshire and the surrounding area, from historical towns to country walks and some great pub lunches. We loved staying there and Ophelia has nailed it in terms of providing a beautiful property to stay in. Easy to understand why it is a guests favourite.

Just back from a beautiful weekend at the Pavillion. The place was amazing, with fantastic views, very peaceful. The sauna and outdoor pool added to the experience. Ruth greeted us on arrival and was happy to show us around. Ruth supplies all the information needed for the stay well in advance and was available over the weekend if we needed anything (we didn't)

This was our second stay (of hopefully many!) at the magical Long Barn and it was even better than we’d remembered! It’s full of charm and personality everywhere you look. The open kitchen/living area is perfect for spending time together and feels so homely. The sofas and beds are very comfortable. Shower water pressure is top notch! The instructions for appliances and recycling were very clear and helpful and Simon is a very responsive host. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside and it was a privilege to be able to call this place ‘home’ for a few days. Diolch yn fawr for another fantastic stay!

Couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Such a homely and comfortable place in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and a really friendly local community. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Many thanks.

We booked the manor for my best friend’s hen party, and we couldn’t have asked for more! We bought the horse box cocktail package and dirty burgers and they were all brilliant, Laurence was very helpful throughout our stay and we loved using the pool (which was heated!). Overall a brilliant stay and would highly recommend to any groups wanting to stay in the area.

We had the best stay in the pod. The views were beautiful and it was the perfect place to disconnect. We loved the natural pool and hot tub and the pod was lovely and cosy a night. What a place to wake up to! Thank you and we hope to return

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

A pleasant stay in HB. The pool's a nice touch & the fact that room had a shower was brilliant. The owner understood that dogs roam & didn't seem to mind them playing out of their assigned area, she also found us a dog sitter which was helpful. We cleaned up our own & others dog mess which means others don't which is a shame. The roads leading to the house are typical country tracks, with lots of people driving too fast along them, they are also very uneven. Jacqui greeted us on arrival & messaged regularly about the pool and weather which was kind. I personally found the check-in style a little condescending probably just me. Also did hang a pair of jeans on a fence for 20mins which was a no-no, we received a message about not doing this and another random one telling us to be sure we had dogs with us or a sitter which unnecessary as they were both exceptionally behaved and always with one of us. Lots of rules to read and sign! Overall a nice house. Recommended already.

We stayed at Emma's house for a family weekend, it was perfect. The kids loved the pool, the tennis court was really fun, the house was spacious and beautiful. Emma was really helpful. the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fabulous. Thanks so much for a perfect weekend.

Lovely hidden family staycation! Lovely location with loads of parking Easy check-in 13 mins drive to Breacon! Brilliant hot tub with amazing views (Only comment would be Chlorine content was a tad high for anyone with sensitive skin) Kitchen and bathroom were clean and cosy! Kitchen is fully equipped with amenities (Sauce pots and trays were available but no frying pans which is no big deal) Lovely welsh biscuits on arrival! Definitely recommend for a lovely retreat!

A real gem. So nice and relaxing for a few days away. Richard and Penny were great hosts from welcoming us and local information, to being available for any queries you might have. We Ubered to Bath and back for day trip and wasn’t too expensive either. Best advice is to switch off your tech, listen to the wildlife and take a stroll around.

Stephanie has put a lot of thought and care into furnishing this accommodation. The space is compact but well equipped.

Another great stay at this wonderful place. We love the peace and quiet and charm of it and were snug and warm in spite of the colder snap. Favourite things this time around included discovering local pubs and watching lambs bounding around the place. Lovely to chat to Amber and Rob and learn a little bit more about the area. As always they were quick to respond and generous with their help. Thanks again to you both.

Had the best weekend at the Wood Den. The hut was quaint, tiny but perfect! So private , so peaceful. Our dogs loved the freedom and enjoyed making friends with Jane and Nic’s Spaniels. On arrival Nic and Jane had left us bread,welsh cakes, milk and honey and eggs from their own farm. The bed is amazing with incredible views and so comfortable! We were lucky enough to have cracking weather all weekend and the stargazing at night was fantastic ! We found a couple of fabulous places to eat - the Walnut tree inn - fine dining at its best - and the Halfway pub which was very close to our farm. This was our first time staying in accommodation of this type but would highly recommend the Wood Den and the hosts !!

Really wonderful stay, Cheryl couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful but wasn’t over barring and gave us our privacy. The barn was stunning included so much stuff including a delicious welcome fruit loaf! Very clean, smart and modern without detracting from its character. Location is beautiful peaceful perfect for our dog and us . Also the Old Farie Inn has cracking food and is really friendly and cosy. Have come home feeling super relaxed!

We had a lovely Christmas stay at Porth y Parc. Enjoyed the space and coziness of the property. Everything you need plus a few welcome extras like fresh eggs and mince pies. Beautiful countryside with walks from the door but only five minutes to the town. Perfect!

Lovely cosy cottage in a very peaceful setting in the hills with views down to the valley below and across to the mountains. Very clean and comfortable, and I really appreciated the welcome gifts! Perfect for a short stay for me and my eight year old son and our dog. A hidden gem! Thank you Elizabeth!

The flat at Camp Hill Crest was perfect for our night on the Offa’s Dyke path. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and Corinna provided us with good and cheap vegetarian meals for dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful location. Unbelievably peaceful and the dog loved it!
