Amazing stay and a fantastic experience. Beautiful other lodges in the same location. Everything was immaculate and clean and would love to come back!

The cabin is rustic and feels like it is miles away even though it is only 15 minutes or so from town. Very nice surroundings and cozy. The hosts are hospitable and very accommodating. We would stay again for sure!

Anna and Bill’s place was perfect. It is such a nice, spacious place on the river, with an incredible porch for hanging out on a lovely day like we had. They were also super responsive. Couldn’t recommend this more for anyone like us getting out of the city and spending time in West Virginia.

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

Richard was a phenomenal host! He met us at the car upon arrival, helped us carry in our things, even offered to carry our baby's bassinet! The space was clean, very unique and just a great space to spend our evenings after our baby went to sleep while we were in town visiting my grandparents. He even had wine and snacks for us - crucial for new parents!

Was a quaint old home, peaceful with a beautiful view. We had family over for a birthday party and took advantage of the fire pit and grill. Joyce even helped us out when we were in need of a large cooking pot to do our seafood boil. Joyce was very friendly and available when needed.

We had a great time at Garry's place! The place was very clean and well furnished, and we appreciated the many bedrooms (my adolescent son likes his privacy). We enjoyed the location by the river, plus the kids loved spending time around the fire pit where they built a fire every night. Great location also if you want to visit Sandstone Falls or hike the Grandview Rim Trail. We hope to visit again.

This beautiful cottage was perfect for my 3 gear old son! The walk was casual and the waterfall was very easy to access!

Great place to stay! The river is right across the road with a walking bridge and little park on the other side. There is one bedroom upstairs with no door, and it has a toilet room with a curtain and a sink that is in the bedroom. There are two bedrooms downstairs with doors but you'll need to leave them open if you want heat inside, or you can use electric heaters. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other bedroom has two single beds. The shower is great, and there's a nice laundry room with washer/dryer. Overall nice stay about a 25 min drive to Lewisburg or an hour to the New River Gorge Bridge. Would recommend!
