We loved our stay. the house was spacious and decorated beautifully. we received great recommendations to local restaurants. Armando and Andrea are truly helpful and the assistance we received when we had some car challenges was very generous. we would highly recommend staying at their Villa.

One of the best places to stay in Porto Covo--stunning views, comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen, generous owner and caretaker. But really, it's the location, location, location: watch the tides come in and out; set off on walks along the Fisherman's Trail north or south, walk to the market, the two small grocery stores in town, and a variety of restaurants. The one restaurant listed in Michelin is a half block away! We miss it already.

This place was very well located. We were out of the center by only a 5 min walk, but it allowed us easy parking for a large 9 passenger van. It does come with a garaged parking spot, but our car was too big. There is a parking lot in the complex, and we were able to find parking no problem right infront of our unit. The unit was clean and well equipped for us to make meals at home if we wanted to. Plenty of room for our kids and the adults. We used this place as our hub to do day trips to Lisbon, Sintra, Obidos, Nazare, and a few other little spots. Easy access to the highway or if you want to drive along the water to some of these spots. The open market is worth visiting and is in walking distance (Wed, Sat, and Sun). If you are looking for a good bakery, Albatroz bakery is good, its more of a French bakery. Sacolinha Bakery (Portugese bakery). In Lisbon, we loved Come Prima and La Camonetta. Both wonderful restaurants and only a 30 min train ride or car ride. Thank you Paula!

Our stay in Lisbon could not have been better thanks to Arturs' beautiful home! In addition to being in an incredible location, it was very clean and welcoming! We can't thank him and his family enough for a wonderful place to stay - They were the best hosts! He was always extremely prompt with responses, helpful with recommendations and very accommodating! My husband and I traveled with our 3 young children, and he was so gracious to provide a crib, high chair, and lots of fun things for the kids to play with! He also helped us store our bags due to our very early flight in. (lifesaving!) They even welcomed us with Portuguese wine and snacks- such a nice start to our vacation! The home has plenty of space, and gorgeous views, as well as a peaceful neighborhood close to many fun things to see, and restaurants to eat at! If we ever traveled to Portugal again, we are sure to stay here with our family! Thank you so very much, it was perfect!!

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

We had a fantastic stay at John and Rose's. We were traveling with two young kids and they had all the things we needed for our stay: a travel crib, high chair, toys, and a generally toddler proofed home! The location is superb, right by the Jardim de Estrela which has a great playground, close to a few supermarkets, and nice places to grab coffee/breakfast. It also is well located to public transport which was helpful for us. John was very responsive over chat and he answered our questions promptly. Overall, this was a great Airbnb for our family of 4 and we enjoyed our stay!

Pedro’s place exceeded expectations. Pedro was very friendly and immediately available when we had a question. Unlike most Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at in Portugal, Pedro’s place was fully stocked with all the essentials needed to have an enjoyable stay (for example, it had plenty of dishwasher tabs and even had laundry soap…which might seem like a small detail but most places we’ve stayed at here tell you to go to the store if you want any). Everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable (also, surprisingly usually very hard to find here!). But, a few more pillows would have been appreciated. Finally, it is worth mentioning for anyone traveling with pets that while Pedro’s place is pet friendly the beaches around the area have no dogs allowed signs (also, very typical in Portugal). But, what was unexpected was that all of the boardwalks also had no dog signs posted. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in a beautiful location! We would be happy to come back :)

I stayed here 9 days for a workshop, and it was so great to be able to return to a peaceful and quiet retreat and resting space after my long and busy days. There are some cute food and drink spots not far away, and even though it was cooler outside in early December I still enjoyed the garden a lot and loved watching the birds fly from branch to branch. The host is super responsive and gave great local recommendations!

**Excellent Apartment for a Short Stay in Lisbon!** This beautifully decorated apartment is perfect for a few days in Lisbon. It is filled with natural light, well-ventilated, and conveniently located on the first floor. While there may be some noise on busy nights like Fridays and Saturdays, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. Its proximity to public transportation makes exploring the city incredibly easy. What truly sets this stay apart is the exceptional hospitality of the host. Their communication was prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful. They provided fantastic local tips for celebrating New Year’s Eve, which added a special touch to our trip. Furthermore, when we accidentally left behind our phone and earphones, the host went above and beyond to ensure they were sent back to us via post. This is a stay I would highly recommend, and I look forward to returning in the future!
