Bradley's place was fantastic and in a beautiful location. The hot tub and fire pit were very enjoyable and we're a welcome sight at the end of a day of winery tours.

My family had a wonderful long weekend at the cabin. Despite cold, rainy weather, we had such a good time relaxing indoors, staying warm by the fireplace on the porch, watching movies, and enjoying the lake view. We appreciated many of the local recommendations for coffee and food. And even took some time for pottery shopping. Our dog had a great getaway too. Good size for a small family with plenty of outdoor toys for all ages. We want to return in the warmer weather!

We headed to the Noridc Cabin for a late-January getaway, and we had a wonderful time. The mountain-woods setting was exactly what we were hoping for. Strolling around the roads was a delight. The house itself was cozy and comfy. Winter hot-tubbing was also a real plus.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We had a complication getting our code right and our host answered immediately to help! Overall it was a great experience I’m so glad we went with this pick!

We had a great stay at this home in Wjntergreen. Super close to the slopes and golf course views from deck. The home was clean and welcoming and very well appointed. Perfect for our family of 4 + our dog! We will be back.

The home offers a private and secluded retreat with breathtaking mountain views. Ample firewood was provided to keep the fireplace warm and inviting throughout our stay. Impeccably clean, the space is equipped with all essential kitchen amenities for a seamless getaway. The rear deck features a hot tub, perfect for relaxing while taking in the serene beauty of the sunrise. Additionally, Tina is highly responsive, ensuring all questions are answered promptly.

What a cute cabin! We loved being able to see the stars and the jacuzzi tub was so relaxing. The bed was also huge and very comfy!

We really enjoyed our stay in this great little cottage in the blue ridge mountains. It was everything we were looking for an easy and relaxing weekend getaway! The cottage has everything you need and the best part was relaxing in the hot tub under the stars after long days exploring Charlottesville and the multiple wineries and breweries in the area. We look forward returning in the future!

This was a trip I got for my parents (in their 50s) and they had a wonderful time despite the weather being less than ideal (super rainy). When they got home they were happy and excited to share the adventure. Even went as far as to say they saw a glimpse of what their retirement could look like. So, I highly recommend as a gift to someone who enjoys the peace and serenity of the outdoors with someone they love (or go with you and your loved one if you enjoy that stuff as well)

this was our fourth time staying at Sally and John's cabin, and as usual we felt right at home curling up by the fire. We appreciated that since we've last been at the cabin they upgraded the heater in the bedroom (definitely helpful as it got very cold out second night!) and added a full bed in the upstairs loft (a great place to sleep, including a nearby outlet, if you're too hot). We love coming here and would love to come back! 😃

The cabin was very nice, the view is exceptional. If you sit on the couch, lay on the bed you have a beautiful Mountain View. There was nothing we were missing. Very close to the Virginia Horse Center if you are visiting there. Quiet and very low light pollution so the stars were incredible. Plenty of deer in the evening time.

John was excellent about communicating while we stayed at the house. And when the snow got my buddy’s car stuck he came to the rescue. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great place to get away and enjoy nature while having modern comforts! This place exceeded my expectations. Loved the holiday decorations and the personal touches that made it feel like home. Notes: They have a hard water softener, which makes the water taste metallic, so bring bottled water or a water filter. Also, it is secluded from major stores, so be sure to bring all your supplies with you.

Absolutely beautiful property! Very private, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed walking the trails with our dog and since we had mostly rain, relaxing in front of the fireplace reading and listening to music. We did venture out to walk the Chessie Trail, see the Natural Bridge, cross the James River on the footbridge, and check out Lexington downtown area. Would love to come back in another season. Thanks for being pet friendly!

Everything was great for a nice weekend getaway. Very private, the dogs were able to run through the woods with no worries. We decided to drive to the wineries which were about an hour away. The deck and fire pit were perfect to watch the sunset over the valley! The gas stove wasn't working but he had a nice electric burner to cook on. Overall the place looked very new and was very clean!

Stayed at Rebecca's nice cabin on our return trip home. Entire cabin is clean and well stocked. Comfortable with excellent instructions. Rebecca is responsive and it is evident she cares for her property. We hope to stay again the next time we go south or visit Skyline Drive. Thank you.

The Crooked Cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The surrounding scenery was majestic and the attention to detail inside the cabin was a wonderful addition. It was a beautiful, little cabin that provided us with everything we needed. We wanted a place to getaway for our anniversary and left recharged and excited to return one day. Mollie and Greg are wonderful hosts who clearly love what they do. We couldn't recommend the Crooked Cabin more highly!

We love this place so much that we got MARRIED there! My now-husband and I stayed there two other times in the last 7 years and it became such a special place to us that we had our tiny 6-person wedding ceremony on their dock. Beverly was the most delightful and accommodating host and gave us tons of recommendations for local musicians and catering— we had it all covered already but we were so thankful for the extra care she showed us. It was a simply perfect wedding surrounded by mountains, changing leaves, the beautiful old cabin, and the gorgeous lake full of little fish and newts, followed by a trip to a local brewery and distillery for great food and drinks. We loved getting visited by their friendly dogs and watching their goats graze on the mountainside. The cabin is cozy and warm, the beds are comfortable, and the lack of cell service and WiFi is so peaceful (remember to print directions beforehand!). We love Parr’s Camp tremendously and hope to visit many more times!

Such a great cabin for some much needed TLC. We were hoping to hike the Peaks of Otter, but the weather had other plans. We arrived kind of late, but Andy met us at the farm entrance & led the way up the hill to the cabin. He showed us around & have us lots of helpful information. We spent the rainy day driving around the mountains & checking out historic Bedford. We stopped off at Beale’s Brewery for some local beer & food. Great spot! Then for dinner had Bella’s Italian, which was phenomenal! The garlic knots were addicting! We spent the evening relaxing on the back porch enjoying the peaceful views. Sunday the weather was much better so we hiked to the top of the property for the spectacular views. We cooked breakfast in the kitchen each morning, we had everything we needed. The bed was very cozy & the gas fireplaces were so nice & warm! Couldn’t ask for a better cabin getaway! We’ll definitely come back to take another shot at hiking the peaks!

The cabin was a wonderful stay, we greatly enjoyed the time that we spent there for a bachelor weekend. The Blackstone was an incredible touch, and between the fireplace and firepit up the hill it was really awesome.

Visiting from Virginia Beach with our daughters, one at JMU and one at Virginia Tech, and with family from PA.  The fall color was gorgeous!  Enjoyed the lantern ghost tour and October illumination of the Natural Bridge. We had lunch at Natty B's Cafe and visited Cave Mountain Lake where we saw lot's of wildlife.  We loved the fire pit and everything about this cabin.  You have done an amazing job creating the perfect weekend get away spot.  Thank you!

It was so peaceful and was just what we needed for a couple days after Christmas. Everything was just as described, and Martha gave me a couple of great recommendations for food and places to hike. We loved seeing the horses and cows every day, and it felt just like home to us. We would definitely book here again!
