This is a very cute place. We liked that it was two blocks from little restaurants, stores, and a bookstore (that was less crowded than the downtown strip!). Lots of great teas and coffee and comfy beds!

Great place to stay. Very clean, had everything we needed, tastefully decorated, nice small details (lots of outlets by night stand, great hand soap…). Fantastic location: residential and quiet yet at walking distance to restaurants. Rachel was very responsive. Highly recommend

This place is truly magical! The location was great, nestled in nature with beautiful surroundings that make you feel fully immersed in the outdoors and yet it's fairly close to the bustling/fun town of Santa Barbra. Waking up to the sound of birds singing in the morning was so peaceful and the fresh farm eggs were the perfect touch! The outdoor shower was definitely a highlight, the warm water made it feel like a luxury. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and relax. Jennifer was also extremely kind and accommodating, always checking-in to ensure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend, we will definitely be coming back!

Really great place for relaxation and stylishly decorated to make you feel at home . Gave clear instructions before arriving and they gave great specifics on restaurants nearby! Really good communication and overall would repeat staying here in the future!

Alan’s place is really great with its proximity to downtown Santa Barbara and all the fun restaurants and activities. Alan was a great host. The beds are comfortable and you have everything you need. I will look to book here again on the next visit to Santa Barbara.

What a peaceful place tucked in a quiet hilltop full of nature surroundings. Absolutely no traffic/people noise and lots darkness with an incredible view when the fog rolls away. It blew our minds! A perfect base of operations for a week stay with all we needed and the host right next door (over a private gate) which was helpful when we had a few needs that he responded quickly and kindly. We were impressed how close we were to things even though it felt like we were far, far away. We cannot wait to stay there again! Note to those that drive a Tesla, do NOT use the car gps/maps. It won’t get you there in a direct route. Use Google maps. Plan at least one evening to enjoy the night sky from the hot tub and deck with fire table and grill. It’s not to be missed.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Carla is the embodiment of a “super host.” Great communication, very accommodating, and very responsive. We decided to stay an extra week and Carla helped us make the correct arrangements and a smooth transition. Carla’s Cottages is a special place. Highly recommended!

Jonah’s place was absolutely fabulous and peaceful. We really enjoyed making good use of the bbq and had some great drinks and got to know Jonah, who is very friendly and knows all the ins and outs of the area. With his great recommendations we were able to have a fabulous dinner at a popular restaurant in the city and I have to say that pasta was probably the best I’ve had in a while. We felt very at home and safe during our stay. We loved the fur friends that the property came with and would love to visit again in the future ! Thanks for the hospitality !

I had the most delightful stay at this charming Airbnb in Summerland—Gillian's Room! From the moment we arrived, I was struck by how quaint and cozy the space felt—perfectly designed with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The cleanliness was impeccable; every corner sparkled, and it was clear that the host took great pride in maintaining an inviting environment. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was wonderfully responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. I can't recommend this gem enough—five stars all the way!

This place was very cute and met our needs for our time in the area. We had an unexpected departure and the host was gracious and flexible. We appreciated that this location was so close to the beach and also some really cute places to eat. The unit is nestled into the trees and is very quiet. The unit was also clean upon arrival and we didn't have any issues during our time there. We would love to return another day!

Such a great spot! You could walk to the beach and the backyard is very peaceful and nice. Everything is just very nice there.:)

My girlfriend and our dog stayed with here on New Years Eve for a quick getaway from LA. It was perfect. Ivan and April were l responsive, helpful and just super sweet. We had a great stay and it helped us start of 2025 off right Thank you!

Eliza’s cottage was so clean and welcoming after a long drive. The beds were so very comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast. Eliza was very thoughtful to provide us with extra soap and hand lotion for our stay. The neighborhood is quiet at night and we slept wonderfully. I would recommend checking into the cottage before dark otherwise it can be a little tricky to find. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Eliza’s beautiful little cottage!

Exceptionally clean cottage with a well stocked and outfitted kitchen. Vicky is a terrific host and we hope to return to this property one day soon. I highly recommend this place.

Hector's little cottage was perfect for our stay to visit our son who lives a few blocks away in Santa Barbara. It was just the right size for a couple—clean, fresh, bright and cheery. The neighborhood is very nice and safe and the only slight issue we had was parking when we returned after dinner several nights. (Our rental car was a large pickup truck so that probably didn't help). One night we texted Hector because we drove around for quite a bit and he was quick to respond we could park in his driveway. I would highly recommend a stay there. It was peaceful and set in their lovely backyard and reasonably priced for Santa Barbara. Our hosts were welcoming and lovely!

I brought my mother and 6 year old to stay for a short weekend and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the home and hosts. The home is a lot bigger than I had expected and my daughter was over the moon with the huge selection of toys, including a little electric jeep that she could ride down the street. It is a wonderful family spot and the hosts gave us the best recommendations and were so friendly and welcoming. We made a lovely new friend, Edna the chicken, who followed us up and down the driveway which my kiddo loved. I highly recommend, especially if traveling with little ones!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Breanna's guest house. It was impeccably clean, accommodating, and comfortable. I highly recommend this rental for a stay in the Santa Barbara wine country area. One consideration is the softness of the bed. If you prefer a soft mattress, you are in luck. I sleep on a mattress as firm as a concrete slab at home so I found the bed a bit uncomfortable. No complaints, though, and staying in this rental for a weekend of relaxation is highly recommended!

Charming and serene cottage with a beautiful and thoughtful aesthetic throughout the home. Private and relaxing spot for a beach getaway. Nice outdoor space for our toddler and two pups. We would love to stay here again.

I stayed at Ian’s for 3 nights to go mountain biking with my family. The cottage is in a wonderful location, it’s a beautiful neighborhood with views of the ocean and you can walk to a number of restaurants and a great coffee shop. Montecito is a few minutes drive away and there are so many beautiful trails right from the house. The cottage is cozy but the outdoor space is shared, which isn’t made clear in the listing and is a bit of a surprise when you get there.

Jennifer is an extremely hospitable and generous host! She was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay and always with a friendly demeanor. We had a fantastic time at the Fantastical Cottage! Jennifer's place is truly magical and my wife was constantly thinking she was in a wonderland! Very much looking forward to returning some time very soon.
