Another great stay at Logan's. The beach is only a few steps away and the Salt Marsh Reserve right across the street. One of my favorite things to do is either an early morning walk on the beach, or just stay in with an early morning cup of tea and watch the sunrise light up the hills. Coming to Logan's feels like a welcome home. I've been coming for several years and intend to continue.

This was a fantastic location, the accommodations were as advertised, and the hosts were super helpful and responsive. (Morgan, thanks for extending our checkout time at such short notice;)) I hope to stay here again soon!

Beautiful and comfortable apartment on the sand exactly as described. It was perfect for our girls weekend getaway exploring from Carpinteria to Santa Barbara. Alli was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

We LOVED having our Thanksgiving weekend at The Shoals Corner! The unit is charming, very comfortable, with a pull-out couch/bed conversion in the living room that gives a great view of the ocean (and sunsets!). From there, we could see a pod of dolphins feeding for quite a while one morning! We brought a crockpot and fixings from home, and made our turkey breast in the cozy kitchen for our holiday meal. The kitchen is really well stocked for up to four people. There's lots to do in central Ventura, so we worked out at a gym a couple of times, shopped for food and beverage extras next door to the gym, and drove around to look at neighborhoods. We also played miniature golf another day and thought about going to a movie...but the beach vibe, fresh air, and sunshine were so satisfying that we avoided indoor activities. We're already talking about going back next year. THANK YOU, MARY, for your hospitality and the opportunity for us to have a wonderful vacation!!

The place was great and a beautiful view of the ocean. Leave the doors to the balcony open and listen to the waves hit was awesome to sleep at night.

We rented this house for an intimate 5-person retreat. The house was absolutely gorgeous, well appointed, and looked exactly like the pictures. The space was huge and the incredible ocean views provided a perfect setting for the work retreat. Jayne was a fabulous host. She was very prompt with her responses and was super helpful when we had questions. Check-in was a breeze and the helpful communication was greatly appreciated. One of our guests from out of state loved the house so much that she plans on renting it for future vacations! From beginning to end, Jayne was so accomodating and ensured we had a great stay. Absolutely HEAVENLY!! Incredible house, on ocean location, well appointed amenities, large deck, hot tub with full ocean view, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, great communication, very helpful staff, will definitely return!

This house has a certain charm. There are many custom features such as stained glass doors and stained glass on windows, soaring ceilings, and skylights. The wood finishes in the kitchen and bath are very different. The colors were soothing. We enjoyed the decks during our stay. In the morning, the sunrise seen from the living room deck was glorious. The rooftop deck was fun. All in all, it was a unique stay and atmosphere. I must note that it is a VERY short walk to Mesa Lane Steps and the Douglas Family Preserve. Beach access from the steps is well worth the walk! We visited Goleta Beach Recreational Pier and the surrounding beach, with easy public access. FUN, FUN, FUN.

An absolutely fantastic stay! This cozy and charming home in Ventura is perfect for surfers and outdoor enthusiasts, offering easy access to the beach, bike path and breathtaking coastal views. The location is ideal, with great restaurants and local spots just a short drive or walk away. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, making it a true home away from home. Sam was an outstanding host, friendly, attentive, and incredibly responsive, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful and welcoming space. Highly recommend!

Location is fantastic, right on a beautiful and uncrowded beach. The waves are the only sound you hear. It’s a small, modest cottage that has wear and tear and has not been updated in a long time, but its layout is excellent and it’s comfortable and clean. Host is responsive, helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back!

This place is one to go back to. The home is beautiful, the view and location are awesome. The accessibility to the beach is so fun. Our family had an amazing time here. It had everything we needed to enjoy the house and ourselves. I highly recommend it.

I can't say enough about David's place. Immediately upon turning into the natural landscaped drive approaching the house, we knew we were about to experience something truly special. And wow, we were right, the view literally took my breath away. The home was easy to access, clean, cozy and exactly as described. Although I'm not sure words could adequately describe the view. You have to experience it to know. We loved sipping our morning coffee from the deck overlooking the ocean. Dolphins each evening, and whales in the distance each morning. We went for several long walks in the neighborhood and down to the beach with our Dog...and we were always greeted by many friendly people and their pets. The neighborhood is amazing and so close to town. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. David was friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back - as often as he will allow us to as we found a real "home away from home" in Santa Barbara. Highly recommend.

The 3 months I stayed with Bry were great! It was the perfect housing situation for a Summer job, and exceeded my expectations.

We appreciate the home, the space, but especially Spencer as he was able to accommodate us with ease though we booked same-day in our attempt to escape the LA wildfires. Our home was in a evacuation zone and upon returning, we had no power and detrimental air quality. Spencer's listing had everything we needed to keep us comfortable as we waiting out progress back home. Can't thank and recommend this listing enough!

This was a great spot for our Spring Break. 4 of us were very comfortable in the condo. BYO beach towels, there are a few beach items in the closet. We made some meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. The view is incredible. Very close to the downtown shops & restaurants. We loved this town and we would stay here again.

Danielle was a very respectful and responsive host. I was in need of a place to stay since I was stranded waiting for my flight. She did not delay to get me accommodated into her space. Forever grateful for her

Staying at Rachel's Beach Condo is consistently an incredible, inspiring "home away from home" experience... The place could not be more perfect (there's always personal touches and new stuff in the kitchen that makes me say "I have to get one of those!") and the location (right on a gorgeous beach and walkable to everything in town, plus a sweet playground for kids) can't be beat. Plus, Rachel is like family (in only the good ways!). So looking forward to our next visit to Carp! (As long as we can snag a week on the very busy condo calendar.)

My husband and I loved staying in this Condo on Carpinteria‘s pristine quiet beach! It is everything that it says it is and what was particularly amazing was Spencer’s Thoughtful and thorough itineraries that walks you through everything. You could see the ocean from the bedroom and it felt like you were right on the beach in the living room. You go down three flights of stairs, and there is the Beach. I am disabled, and I ran into the property manager who lives on site and she was so warm and compassionate. She saw that I was in distress and she just took me by the hand and went all the way up to the condo with me and then came back out and walk me back out to my car into my husband’s hands with the remote that we needed to enter the parking area. She showed us and actually helped us with the luggage cart which is above and beyond. Spencer Has many beautiful properties in this area, and I think I would always trust his listings to be well managed and accurate.

The pictures don't do justice to this lovely apartment. It's very comfortable inside - spacious, well laid out, feels very home away from home. I would recommend this place for an extended stay, as there is ample room to settle in. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is better equipped than most Airbnbs. The location is terrific if you want to be able to walk to the beach, the Funk Zone, the train station, State Street. The only thing that was a little challenging if you are there without a car (as we were) was grocery shopping. Lazy Acres is not nearby as one reviewer said - maybe they moved. There is a small grocery called Santa Cruz Market that is close, otherwise it's a half hour walk to a Ralph's (of course you could always Uber). I would totally come back to this apartment, maybe next time with a car to use this as a jumping off point for touring the surrounding area. Thank you thank you thank you!

This home was a great location to everything. Beach literally on your doorsteps. Not to mention kids toys to make life easier at the beach. Only hiccup we had was that the hot water was not working but that was resolved within an appropriate time frame! Very clean, safe, and recommended!
