This is, hands down, the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Other reviewers have stated that this Airbnb was more of ‘an experience’ than simply just a place to stay, and I echo this. The wonderful hosts are incredibly respectful of your privacy whilst delivering highly personal and proactive hospitality. We visited during winter months, and the accommodation is built solidly, and easily withstood storms and high winds overnight. The hot tub was tended to by the hosts each morning and was always ready to go. The interior furnishings are well thought-out and very comfortable. We were able to access the property (despite the slightly ‘tricky’ access road) without any issues by using a standard hatchback-style rental car. Overall, a truly incredible service provided by a lovely host family, and a brilliant experience overall. We can’t wait to come back in the future. Thank you so much!

Mykola was an excellent host, from the reservation until checkout. he was very responsive and checked in everyday to see if we needed anything, so much so that I mentioned a toaster would be perfect and that day we had a toaster. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. It has a nice Jacuzzi on the deck. We had everything we needed. The cottage is very private. We felt that we were the only ones there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. we stayed for 5 nights. Highly recommended.

Daria and Damir were absolutely amazing. Our drive up the mountain was much more challenging than expected due to it being night and rain (late flight). We had a lot of trouble because of this but our hosts made sure to help us anyway they could. Damir was even so kind to refuel our car! They were incredibly helpful and super sweet, absolutely lovely hosts! The accomodation is also just absolutely beautiful and a great cozy place to stay !

I was so pleased to be welcomed to Montenegro by Tanja and her husband. They are kind human being and responsive to any issue or need. The woodhouse matched perfectly my expectation : quiet, peacefull, authentic whith an outstanding view over the lake. Top 👍

Diese kleine neu errichtete Berghütte bietet alles für eine perfekte Auszeit abseits des Alltagstrubels. Alles ist sehr sauber, der Holzofen macht es extrem gemütlich und es ist ein tolles Erlebnis darauf zu kochen. Auch das Bad ist sehr schön, es gab genug heißes Wasser und alles war neu. Der Gastgeber ist sehr aufmerksam, es gab gekühltes Bier zur Begrüßung, ausreichend Feuerholz und auch sonst das meiste was man zum Kochen benötigt. Auf der Hütte gibt es keinen Empfang, aber WiFi war gut genug zum Filme schauen und Fotos verschicken (ca. 7-20mbit/s). Alles sehr gemütlich, herrliche Unterkunft. Die Straße ist auf Google Maps leider nicht eingezeichnet, aber auf OpenStreetMaps zu finden - einfach der Beschilderung nach „Polja Pejovića“ folgen - wir haben es auch bei Nacht gefunden, die Straße ist gut. Wir kommen wieder!

Zu Beginn war es schwierig in die Unterkunft hinein zu kommen. Leijla hatte geschrieben, dass die Unterkunft bei Ankunft offen wäre, was nicht der Fall war. Leider stimmen auch die Angaben zum Wlan nicht mehr, so dass ich Leijla anrufen musste, um zu erfahren, wo der Schlüssel ist. Das ist sehr teuer, wenn man keine lokale Simkarte hat. Es wäre hilfreich, diese Angaben auf Airbnb zu aktualisieren. Sobald diese Hürde überwunden war, war es einfach nur herrlich, auf der Terrasse zu genießen und baden zu gehen. Leijla war immer gut erreichbar und hat weiter geholfen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, grundlegend ausgestattet und nicht weit von den Restaurants. Vor allem ist sie auf der richtigen Flussseite, wo die Morgensonne hinscheint.

We loved our stay at Nebojsa's wonderful wooden cabin. The location couldn't be better and the view of Tara Bridge and Canyon was breathtaking. Nebojsa went above and beyond in his welcome and hospitality and did everything possible to look after us. From organising white water rafting and a guide for our climb of Bobotov Kok; to providing home cooked meals for breakfast and dinner. The complimentary wine and beer in the fridge on arrival was a lovely touch, we even got given gifts on our departure. All in all our stay in the Dormitor National Park at Nebojsa's property was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Montenegro. We cannot recommend him and this place highly enough - thank you!

We felt right at home, the house was spacious and clean and had everything you needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

We really liked Nikola's place. Was very well built and super cozy and comfortable. The beds were great too. He's a very nice host and on a cold night had the heaters on already on for us when we arrived. The location is very close to black lake and a short drive to Tara bridge too. There are some nice restaurants that are walkable and highly recommend Shambhala bakery for breakfast. Things to know... if you are driving I would recommend to ask before hand for the best route as some of the roads are very challenging and might even be closed due to snow. Also, the house is not visible from the street when you arrive on google maps - so good to also ask for those details. The house, location and host were other wise all great!

This was the perfect end to my stay in Montenegro! The cabin was well-designed, had everything I needed, and was warm and cozy even at the end of February. The surroundings were beautiful with sweeping views of the mountains. However, I think the best part of all was the host. Demitrije was so kind and helpful throughout my entire stay. He met me at the bus station when I arrived and saw me off when I left. He quickly responded to anything I needed during my stay and even invited me to join him and his friends one day, as a solo traveler this meant so much to me. If you’re looking for a stay in Montenegro where you’ll feel like family, definitely book with Demitrije!

We had a very relaxed time in Kolašin - nice small city and some traditional restaurants (Nataly gave us some good recommendations - thank you for that). The place is cozy but also not cluttered. Since it was raining a bit during our stay we also enjoyed just staying at 'home'. The direct surrounding is quiet and there is lot's to do around Kolašin if you like to be in nature and go for hikes .

Winter stay. House was cold but quickly heaten up with conditioner. Heating floor in the bathroom works fine, don't forget to turn it on right after arrival. Internet isn't fastest which is expected in remote place but stable and speed is just enough to watch youtube comfortably on the telly. There's separate bed for the child and good enough bed for two. It's very warm on the second floor once house is heaten. Milorad is very friendly and responsive and made living christmas tree close to the house. Best thing (for us) was to have 3 cats and one dog at the territory. Two of cats are still kittens and they aren't behaving, so be careful with food near them - they will go for it no matter how good they fed already. They are fluffy and friendly and dog is playful. There is good hiking route nearby though during winter it's buried under snow (we had up to 30cm on the path). Overally great stay 12/10.

Minire's place was wonderful, we felt right at home. The place was specious and had every equipment you might need. Clear view of the sea and mountain that had such a calming effect. The environment was peaceful and sorrunded by trees. Minire kept sure we had everything we needed. She was very welcoming which made us really enjoy our stay. Will come back to visit for sure. Highly recommend!
