Monteverde : locations de vacances avec cheminée

We LOVED our stay at Casa Gisela! The views and grounds were absolutely breathtaking, and the house was stocked with everything we needed. We noticed a leak in the kitchen on our last day (turns out it was the dishwasher), and our host had it fixed within a few hours! We received many wonderful recommendations for food and things to do in the house manuel, and the town was close-by for groceries and essentials. We loved leaving fruit for the birds, birdwatching, looking for little lizards and critters, and couldn't get enough of the pool. We also did the walk to the secret lake which was a fun surprise as well! Plenty of space for my family of 5. Highly recommend; this place is divine!

where do i even begin??? This place was worth every penny from the view, the amenities and the hospitality from the host was A1! The host gave clear instructions from beginning to end and was UBER nice helping along the way with suggestions on restaurants and things to do around the area. 10/10 would rent again when i come back to +506

Bello lugar si quieres descansar y pasar unos días de tranquilidad. La casa es cómoda y grande. Reserva si quieres pasar alejado del calor y en un ambiente de montaña muy tranquilo.

This place was great. It had an amazing view and everything was clean. The instructions to find the place were easy to follow, as well as the instructions to get in. I don't have a bad thing to say about this property. Driving at night up in the mountains can get tricky. When people tell you to be where you need to be by 6pm, there is a reason. We drove from SJO and it took 30-60 minutes longer than expected so we didn't get there before dark. Google maps and Daniel's directions made it easy to navigate, but not all roads are paved. I would recommend having a 4 wheel drive vehicle, or at the very least something with higher clearance. We encountered cows in the middle of the road during most of our travels. We took 2 other roads in our travels, and the best one was coming from La Fortuna and going through Nuevo Arenal. When it rains it also gets very foggy, and there were times you couldn't see the road you were on. It takes about 60-80 minutes to get to La Fortuna from here.

The pictures of this place don’t do it justice, the views are spectacular! This property is perched on a mountain with great outdoor space to sit, and with a restaurant in walking distance that offers good food, cocktails and a really nice staff. We pretty much ate breakfast and dinner there almost every day. There’s also another restaurant at the bottom of the hill, along with a general store for snacks, beer, etc. It’s conveniently located near zip lining, hanging bridges and the Arenal National Park. If you want to add some time by the pool, you can buy day passes at The Springs Resort & Spa. We hiked and did jungle excursions in the mornings and hung out by the hot springs and pools in the afternoons. The only thing that I would have changed is that I would have liked to stay longer.

The location was perfect for our Monteverde adventure. Easily accessed everything we wanted to do from zip-line to a night hike to a 6-mile self-guided hike in Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. We also drove to Viento Fresco Waterfalls about 50 minutes away and the swim in waterfall #3 was a family favorite for the trip. Lots to do, very peaceful surroundings at the house and easy to get to good food in Santa Elena! Simple and perfectly comfortable accommodations and the host was wonderful and helpful.

All I can say is wow! The photos, as amazing as they are, do not do justice to the views. The place was quiet and peaceful. We loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping and a cool breeze. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a good 15 minutes from the downtown MonteVerde area and a 4WD SUV is essential.

We had a lovely time at Casa Mariposa - the house is located in a very tranquil area just a short drive away from La Fortuna (if you have a car, very much worth it!). Everything was impeccable when we checked-in and the house was very well furnished with all kind of electrodomestics in case you are planning on cooking there: air fryer, blender, rice cooker, toaster... between others. The outdoor area was lovely to have and so peaceful. If you are lucky enough, you may be able to spot the Arenal volcano; we could not see it during our stay as too cloudy, but I guess this is the perfect excuse to come back ;)

It's a wonderful place to stay more time than the one we chose. It's a quiet place, with a great scenery and lots of wildlife. I will recommended for a week vacation away from everything.

This was my LIR to Arenal interim stop on way to La Fortuna since we landed after 2:00PM. I only wish we could have stayed for more than one night. It was clean and very elegant yet homey. The view in the morning was to die for.

This condo is in the most beautiful location, perfect view of the volcano from the balcony!! The space was clean and comfortable beds and furniture. Fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom with large jet tub, and in suite washer and dryer. The host had great communication. Responded quickly late in the evening to our booking request to let us stay in his beautiful place, saving us from the original nightmare Airbnb be booked for that night! I can’t thank the host enough for the responsiveness and the truly wonderful condo right on Lake Arenal!! P.S. Completely ignore the person that left the low rating review about this place. The person should be ashamed to leave a low review for such an incredible place!

We had an excellent stay here while in Monteverde. The views were unbeatable, and everything in the unit itself well maintained! Yami was an excellent host, very responsive and always ready to give recommendations. It was a very tranquil getaway, would certainly come back!

Totalmente asombroso un lugar con vista divina al la laguna donde se puede visualizar el volcán de lejos. A pesar que había que manejar 30min más o menos para encontrarse con los restaurantes o actividades, vale completamente la pena La piscina es asombrosa nos toco estar solos y disfrutamos un montón. La llegada a la locación tiene una pendiente pero se sube súper bien con un SUV La refri probablemente la dejaron abierta y chorreo y poco de agua pero sin problema Preferiría que el baño principal hubieran dejado más de un rollo de papel 🧻 ya que el que dejaron ya estaba empezado, es un detalle realmente mínimo Preferiría que mejoraran el televisor de la sala y el del cuarto principal ya que el del cuarto era imposible ver una película y el de la sala costaba un poco acceder al Netflix Fue genial la estadía

Nous étions seulement de passage pour couper notre voyagement (une seule nuit), le condo était propre, identique aux photos et avec toutes les commodités. On peut même apercevoir le volcan du balcon lorsque les nuages ne sont pas trop présents.

We stayed here 3 nights over the weekend. Really beautiful house with a big garden where you are close to the nature. Ideal for a calm and relaxing stay. You also got to check out the lovely details around and inside the house. It was absolutely amazing!

We enjoy a lot to spend holidays in this place, is peaceful, beautiful and confortable, I really recommend Villa Corazon. Looking forward to come back soon.

We had a fantastic stay at the property. It was beautifully kept, clean, and in a peaceful location outside of the main town. The hosts were very communicative and helpful, making our whole stay very easy. Would highly recommend staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Valentina. It was abundant space for our family. Awaking in the cloud forest was a beautiful, special experience.

This place was amazing, the outdoor living area with pool and shower were spectacular. I would live here if possible! The river in the back yard with a little swimming hole was amazing as well! 10/10!!!!

Francesco's Hotel Mystica is literally the most relaxing place I've ever been in my entire life. My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night as part of our anniversary vacation, and by the next day we couldn't believe it had only been 24 hours. Villa Los Pericos has a breathtaking view of Lake Arenal and the volcanoes right from its front porch (complete with hammock and Adirondack chairs), and the all-glass wall of the villa opens up so you can catch the cool mountain breeze from your living room or kitchen. We were amazed as to how untouched by humans the lake was. No boats, and only one or two windsurfers. I really do hope it stays this way. The area is amazing, and landscape-wise it almost feels like the rolling hills of Ireland at times. With 10-15 degrees cooler temps (Fahrenheit) than the beach towns, you'll almost forget you're in Costa Rica for a moment. The main road around the lake is newly paved, so it's easy to get around and explore the small towns and a few restaurants / brewpubs, if you do decide to leave the Mystica grounds. While we were perfectly content with the views and the villa itself, the overall estate (Hotel Mystica) has so much more to add to the tranquil experience. A waterfall dipping pool, homecook restaurant with fireplace/lounge, and an expansive yoga platform facing the jungle right next to a stream are just a few of the amenities you can enjoy. Francesco is an excellent host who wants to make sure your experience is relaxing and perfect. Homecooked breakfast and a platter of fresh fruit before checkout topped off an unforgettable experience. I would certainly stay here again -- and next time, for more than a day!
