Monteverde : locations de maisons de vacances

Una típica quinra de recreo con una cada cómoda muy limpia y bien equipada. El área social excelente. Hicimos BBQ y se pasa muy bien en la piscina. De noche sumamente especial con luces y todo lo necesario. Vamos y ducha al aire libre también. Un 10! Muy comunicativos los anfitriones.

Fam w 13 and 10 yo First, Max (guy who runs the property) is ultra-responsive & friendly. Super nice guy. Respond if he reaches out to you prior to your trip and offers to help via WhtsApp - he will be your primary contact and can help with excursions/tours. Bukala Village is special. We loved the goats, ducks, and chickens (not to mention the fresh chicken eggs we enjoyed). The grounds are gorgeous and lush. It’s about 12 minutes outside downtown La Fortuna, FYI. Not walkable, in my opinion. The beds are comfortable and the A/C blows very cold! Out unit had a private hot tub on the outdoor patio which was lovely. Regarding safety, the entire property is gated/fenced and only visitors have access via remote controlled security gate. Our room was also armed with a security system. There were some broken items that need repair (hot tub jets, range hood, etc al) and these are such things that need to be fixed in order for this property to maintain its excellent reputation.

Oscar is a super host. The house is very private yet overlooks the owner's farm so we loved watching the beautiful horses, pigs, goats and cows as the family prepared them for a show. The AC works great in the bedrooms and as mentioned, we stayed during a warm time and spent most of our time in the pool or at the shady grill/party area as the main room can get truly warm with no AC. And of course, the sun setting on the volcano-can't be matched! Don't hesitate to book this great place!

I proprietari sono stati veloci nel rispondere quando cercavo una posizione più dettagliata da immettere sulle mappe. Ci hanno anche aiutati con la lavanderia: in poche ore, ci hanno lavato, asciugato e piagato i vestiti. Posto molto carino, in un comprensorio con altre tre villette. C’è la piscina, parcheggio privato, la casa è attrezzata per quattro persone. Unica pecca: il piano cottura è plug in, ma è comunque prevista la cucina in comune, ben attrezzata e con un tavolo esterno comodo. Bagno ben organizzato, doccia spaziosa. Avendo la macchina, in 5 minuti si è al centro città. Posto consigliato.

El lugar bastante agradable, todo tal y como se ve en las fotos, tiene bastantes juegos para divertirse y la comunicación perfecta. Lo recomiendo y volveria de nuevo.

Jason is an amazing host. He is incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly. Any questions we had about the house were answered promptly and clearly. He made great restaurant recommendations and booked two amazing activities for us: The Sloth Territory and Arenal Rafting Company. The house is also amazing. Clean and comfortable. Peaceful and private with great views of Arenal. We had coffee on the front porch everyone morning and it was like we were sitting in a bird sanctuary. We didn’t want to stay in La Fortuna so this was the perfect location for us. It is an easy drive into La Fortuna. We hope to be back on Costa Rica soon and if we are visiting La Fortuna we will definitely stay at Jason’s again.

Wow—what can I say? Randall’s Airbnb was even better in person! The photos honestly don’t do it justice. It was the perfect peaceful and relaxing retreat for our group of six. The space was thoughtfully arranged, and the views of the Arenal Volcano (about a 30-minute drive) were absolutely stunning. The location felt incredibly safe, nestled in a quiet neighborhood with several other Airbnbs nearby. Plus, it was within walking distance to restaurants and bars—super convenient if that’s your scene. Randall’s hospitality was a breath of fresh air. He met us upon arrival, gave us a full tour of the house, shared the history of the area, and even offered insider tips for spotting sloths. When we asked for a recommendation for a masseuse, he had one at the house within 24 hours—talk about going above and beyond! While the kitchen doesn't include a full oven or dishwasher, it still had everything we needed, and I would absolutely stay here again.

The photos do not do it justice, the Maple Home is more spectacular and spacious in real life. We had the best sleep in the comfy beds and the kitchen is well equipped. The extra bonus was the wildlife around the house. We saw toucans, capuchin monkeys, blue morpho butterflies and scorpions. Highly recommend Maple Home and Dulce, who sent us the most detailed instructions to find it without any issues. Thank you

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Keylin. C’était plus que parfait! Des fruits sur la table et une bouteille de vin en guise de bienvenue!Un petit déjeuner typiquement costaricain servi lors de notre premier matin et un autre à la fin de notre séjour que nous avons dû malheureusement refuser. Keylin et sa sœur Mariela sont très réactives et vérifient régulièrement que nous sommes bien. Le logement est très très confortable et très propre et il y a tout ce dont on a besoin pour cuisiner. La vue du balcon est magnifique et c’est très tranquille. Nous le recommandons sans hésiter!

Endroit très calme et hôte très accueillant. Idéal pour se ressourcer après les explorations dans la zone.

We had an awesome stay at Gloriana's place. This is a great and secluded place in Monteverde just minutes away from Cloud forest and all attractions. The house was very clean and the kitchen stocked with all the essentials. The kids had a great time playing outside with the dog and got to see a lot of birds. Gloriana and her family are great hosts, very responsive to all our questions and made our stay welcome. We got lucky with some authentic and delicious Costa Rican breakfast on our first day. The empanadas were out of this world! When you are there, make sure to take the coffee tour to understand the intricacies and history behind coffee. Highly recommend this place.

Eva's place was incredibly peaceful and private with a beautiful, well tended garden out back. With the windows open, you don't feel the need for AC at all (it was very cool during our stay in early March.) The windows do not have any screens, which created a few humorous encounters with critters, but we had a great time. It is also a tricky/steep drive along rocky mountain roads to most places, but this seemed to be the case for everywhere here (except maybe in Santa Elena itself.) We had a great time and Eva was a great host.

This is a fantastic Airbnb! Looks exactly like the pictures, and the main area feels even bigger in person. The location is PERFECT; very close walking to plant restaurants and scenic viewpoints, but still feels quiet and peaceful. We both worked from home our whole week and the wifi was great. Warm shower, great laundry machine, very clean and spacious. Highly recommend!

la maison est comme descrite sauf que je ne savais pas qu'elle était située dans la montagne avec des côtes abruptes et en roches. Une fois habitué c est correct. la maison est pas trop loin des restaurants et activités pleines aires. je la recommande.

The stay in Casa Alquimia was very comfortable and enjoyable. The house is very spaceous, we were a group of 6 and each of us had their private bedroom with queen bad and bathroom! The kitchen is big and we'll equipped. The living room is big and we hung out there a lot, next to the Christmas tree! The house is situated in a peaceful place surrounded by nature. From the terrace we saw a lot of animals: tucanet, quetzal, agouti and other birds. Compared to seeing no animals on our 3hour hike in Santa Elena.. We thank the hosts again for letting us stay in their lovely home.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here. The place was modern and extremely clean. We stayed as two families with young children and the setup was perfect. The front yard was great for the kids to run around and play on the swings while the adults watched for birds. Close to town and easy to get to all the reserves. We walked to the night hike next door and it was great. We felt safe staying in this location.

Great place to stay in Monteverde. Private house and garden which invite to watch animals (nose bears) and relax in a hammock. Close to a nature research center where you can enjoy hiking and a waterfall where you will be just by your own. The house is very well equipped and offers a lot of space and a stunning view from the bedrooms. David welcomed us very warmly and gave us tips and recommendations. Thank you!

César and Daniela were wonderful hosts. They arranged transfers and guided tours for me. The accommodation is clean, well equipped and I would have loved to stay longer.

Great deal, amazing views and pristine garden in a tranquil setting. A great deal for the beauty of the place. Would be nice to have coffee with the coffee maker and a sauce pan and some more kitchen stuff where it is very remote but we really loved our stay here and host was very responsive. No food nearby so plan accordingly. Monteverde is intense roads so plan to have 4x4 or awd and plan for extra time for drive than Google maps says as roads are rough but thats just the area. Just be prepared and drive slow and you will be fine.

We absolutely loved staying at Fiorella’s place! It’s like a modern cozy cabin, perched on the side of the mountain. Everything inside seems new and modern, the kitchen is stocked, and my kids loved the bunk bed. It was also amazing to have a washer and dryer to use as well! Fiorella left us plenty of goodies upon our arrival that we were so appreciative of! We loved seeing the mountains peek through the big glass windows and even saw an incredible rainbow. We were very comfortable here with our kids and I would highly recommend this place to anyone else!

Great spot just a few minutes from downtown. Off the main paved road just a bit so that you feel private and secluded but close enough where you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. House is comfortable and has all of your basic necessities. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a great value stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Alan's. We were late getting there because of faulty GPS. But we were met by 2 wonderful ladies who were very kind and helpful. We were greeted with a beautiful pineapple and bananas which was so lovely since we had not had time to get to a grocery. The place is immaculate and spacious. Four people could easily have a really good time there. A note about the road which is quite bumpy. We had a regular clearance car but a high clearance would have been better. Alan was very responsive. We had a light bulb that went out and he came and fixed right away. And questions were answered immediately. Thank you!!

Un lugar precioso. Tal cual se describe. Muy privado y la piscina un 10, con su temperatura ideal para el lugar. Todo super limpio, bien distribuido y amplio. Super recomendado. Importante saber que deben registrarse en otro sitio, donde se obtiene el acceso.
