Loved this place. Lots of critters. Hummingbirds, ducks, rabbits, lizards, dragon flys, butterflies, and more. Beautiful garden on the grounds with places to sit among the trees, flowers, art. Lots of peace and quiet. Our hosts were kind and quick with communication.

I really loved my stay! However, there was an issue with my booking (error on their end) and the larger unit wasn't available for my entire stay. I chose to move to a smaller, less expensive cabin because it was available for the entire stay. Unfortunately, Peggy does not want to change my charge to reflect the smaller, less expensive stay. It's a lovely Artist retreat and I wish the best for them.

Sue has a beautiful home with phenomenal views from every room. The home was the perfect space for our family of six. Everyone had their own space and the amenities are endless. Sue is a great communicator and the home was very easy to find. The house has a fabulous kitchen. We were very pleased with our stay.

Very enjoyable with quiet and beautiful surroundings. However, as an older couple, we found the bathtub difficult to use. In addition, the lack of a door to the bathroom and openings due to short walls between the bedroom/bathroom and the rest of the cabin were an unexpected surprise. The gardens and pond were beautiful and serene.

We visited Cortez for a Dark Sky adventure. In addition to visiting the national park/monuments in the area to see the night sky, we were able to enjoy the stars from the dock by the pond. The house is in a beautiful setting, which is very peaceful. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we asked for information on the area. The office area had lots of great maps and history information, too!

Stayed in the River House...beautiful cabin on a charming creek. Delicious breakfast and lovely peek of the Rockies make it extra special. Highly recommend!

Barbara and Laura, thank you for creating a wonderful retreat for my family. Our purpose was not only to see the local attractions in Cortez, CO but to attend a graveside memorial for my parents at the Cortez Cemetery. Your home was exactly what we needed to re-connect with our extended family. As an owner of a short-term rental, I appreciate the effort and attention to details you have invested to make your home a comfortable space. BTW, your artwork is outstanding! Cheers, Evan Jones

You know the old expression, "You must see it to believe it." We stayed three nights, and it was much too short - as in way too short. The ranch is incredible, has the perfect location, and has exquisite cabins. It is peaceful and tranquil. And if you enjoy the outdoors, there are a million things for you to do. Both Ming and Garry are some of the kindest and most inspiring people I have ever met - they are remarkable. If you have the time and the means, I encourage you to stay at their place. You will be thrilled that you did. It is a special place.

This was a wonderful place for us to have a small family reunion. Lots of space for everyone and beautiful surroundings

LOVED staying in the yurt — consider it to be one of my best experiences with AirBnb! The host was super friendly and responsive. The setting is amazing! Couple little notes: it does get warm in the yurt during the day (not hot, but warm) and if there are other people next door, it’s a little less private feeling … but that is a minor issue as the setting, the weather, the amenities and the novelty more than make for a memorable and wonderful experience! Would 💯 stay again!!

Stayed here for one night during a short road trip with the family. the kids loved the loft sleeping area and want to go back. Everything was comfortable and we'll maintained. I'd recommend it if you're planning to stay in the area, especially with young children.

Michelle’s place was very clean and welcoming. It is a very special place and we felt very comfortable. It is perfectly situated for exploring around Cortez (Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, etc) Michelle was very welcoming and friendly and was a great resource for places to go visit and eat. We would love to return!

The loft was spacious and comfortable and the views from the loft were beautiful. The directions were easy to follow, and we found the place with no problems. We had the opportunity to meet the host and talk with her and pet the hounds on the second day. You might want to stop at the store before you arrive and pick up a bag of peeled and cut baby carrots to give to the horses at the gates of each fenced area on the ranch. They appeared anxious to come greet us and seemed to enjoy them and the attention.

We initially had a little trouble finding the cabin: the Google map attached took us up the neighbor's driveway. But after fumbling around a little we found it and moved in. (We stayed a week). Everything was as advertised: the kitchen facilities were fine (hot plate, microwave, refrigerator;no stove). The shower worked well, bed was comfortable, good chairs and tables. The single large room was set up well, and didn't feel cramped. No closet or other storage. We enjoyed being in it, and especially enjoyed sitting out in the rocking chairs on the porch. The WIFI was good. Lighting could have been better. Even with numerous lamps spread around, it was still a little dim for reading. The location for us was fabulous- every morning we walked up the dirt road 5 minutes to the Boggy Draw trailhead and walked a different trail before breakfast. We drove out to Hovenweep, to Mesa Verde, and one day made a long loop over Lizard Head Pass. Overall: High quality rustic cabin in the woods.

10 out of 10 will stay here again! Terry was a great host and the cabin was fantastic. He was very accommodating and wanted to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible - and it was. We will be back!

Nancy and Tom are not only wonderful people and perfect hosts, but their Enchanted Retreat almost defies description. The thoughtfully designed house is spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped, with beautiful views in all directions. The setting is like an island in the sky, both relaxing and invigorating at the same time, with the complete tranquility underscored by the sounds of birds, the breeze, and occasional brief rain or distant thunder and lightning over the La Plata range. We could have easily never left the property, but we did venture over to neighboring Mesa Verde, and up the incredible San Juan Skyway to Telluride and Ridgeway. By now it is evident that this is a very special place. Five stars is hardly a sufficient rating, and we doubt if we could ever match or exceed this for a western mountain retreat. Had a great stay at Jason’s place. The biggest plus was able to leave from the property on my gravel bike and had easy access to miles & miles of great riding. Viewing the sunsets 🌅 here were also amazing!

My family loved staying here! The beds were comfortable and the furnishings were as well! There were games for the kids and a beautiful porch and side porch to sit and enjoy the sun! Most importantly it was sparkling clean! Oh and the deer were a bonus bonus!
