I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying here. I was greeted at the door and welcomed in even though I arrived at 9:30pm. Definitely sit down to have a light breakfast and wonderful coffee with the hosts! My bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. I walked to the Metro with ease - the neighborhood is wonderful. I will be back!

What a truly wonderful stay at Dana's house, she is a great host and really makes you feel welcome. I arrived a bit late from the airport and she was there to greet me at about 11:45PM with no problem at all. Super friendly person and always happy and bubbly, I would highly recommend staying with Dana she's a true super host!

I felt like at home, even better, thanks to the nicely decorated house and quiet surroundings in the nature. The bedroom was large, nicely equipped, all was super clean and new. I could use the large kitchen where I found everything I needed. I fully recommend this place. And Varda and his husband were very nice and kind.

This was my second visit to Leanne's house. During the three weeks of my stay, I had a really relaxing time, as I did last time. Leanne is an incredibly nice and friendly host. It's no exaggeration that so many previous guests call her a great host! The house was always kept very clean. I usually felt very comfortable using the bathrooms, kitchen, washer and dryer in the basement, and other areas. Leanne's responses to my questions and requests were always prompt and friendly. I also enjoyed having conversations with Leanne, her family, and friends. Of course, I was also able to have complete privacy whenever I wanted. I visited the Library of Congress in DC and the National Archvies II, and the house is in a very good location to visit both institutions. The neighborhood was very safe and I was able to walk to a variety of shops and stores as well as the Metro station. I especially loved jogging in the beautiful neighborhood! I can't wait to stay at Leanne's house again next time!

Great location in petworth so just a few bus stops away from the center. Comfy pad that's well furnished with all the amenities you need. Busses and metro all in proximity. I recommend this place!

Saying at 4422 7th street was a pleasure. My dog and I were welcome as the place was very accommodating. I was pleased to find places to walk and exercise my dog. The location was close to all shops and amenities.

Ghulam is a wonderful host and provides a clean, fairly spacious private accommodation with many amenities, private bath, kitchen, and places for storage. The photos capture the look well, but may even underestimate the clean and peaceful ambiance. Ideal for short to long term stays, and a wonderful value. Highly recommend Ghulam and his space, and I will likely always return whenever I am in the area.

A true and authentic experience. Evey is one of the kindest and most brillant person on earth. Honestly an outstanding experience, the world needs more Evey's. I will come back for sure: very nice place, a home away from home.

Perfect location for our purposes, so we will definitely book again. I grew up very close by, and this neighborhood has really become charming. You would think a house directly across the street from a train station and a bottle shop, with a bus stop and popular biking/walking trail steps away, might be noisy, but in fact we found it very peaceful (at least compared to our home neighborhood!). Cute businesses right there and lots of amenities a short drive away. Jeffrey was very responsive, and his instructions were thorough and helpful. The apartment felt secure, clean, and well-stocked. It's an old house, so the kitchen, bath, and living room are a little small and dated, but totally fine. The bedrooms are cute, the main one is spacious, and they have desks and power strips. Happy for the A/C! We didn't hear any noise from the neighbors. I will say the sleeping situation is tight for four people with a queen and full bed (and the couch isn't really sleeping size). But great stay!

Great location, easy walk to downtown Bethesda, well connected to rest of the city. Clean, comfortable apartment. Mark was very communicative and answered our questions quickly. Would be happy to be back in the future.

Great stay at Jeffrey’s. Friendly guy, great restaurant recommendations for us. Not a fancy place, small bathroom but know it DOES have a shower (yay- just said bathtub). The house and unit had lots of personality and everything we needed. Appreciated the fruit and pound cake! Loved the neighborhood with interesting stores, bakeries, restaurants. Lots of places to walk. My adult daughter slept on the (regular) couch and it was very comfy.

Maxine's creekside stay was great for my short visit to Takoma Park. She was very accommodating of me and my cat. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to visit the area again. There were plenty of snacks and coffee/tea selections for guests to use. It looked like very easy access to the Sligo Creek trail (you can see them from the yard) although it pretty much poured rain the entire time so I didn't get to walk it. One note is that the brick pathway to the entrance can be a little slippery in the rain, better to have shoes with a good grip.

The room is a converted basement, so there is a musty smell. But some scented candles helps with that. I met Ekatetina the day after I checked in. She made time to get to know me, which I really liked from my airbnb host. She made sure everything was in order and asked if I needed anythg. The kitchen is in a back corner, so I was not sure how that would work. But in the time I stayed there, I realized it is a cute, cozy place. And I really liked how the area was great for walking my dog.

This was by far the best Airbnb we could ever ask for. Betty's hospitality and friendliness is off the charts!!! Betty is a fantastic host who will make you feel right at home. she was very kind and generous to share with us her delicious home cooked meals several times during our stay. She even lend me her car for a day and took metro to her job when I had a situation with mine. There is not enough words to express Betty's generosity but to say I'm humbled and appreciative for people like you Betty ! you're a life saver and a valued friend! Betty's place exceeded our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great private bedroom with attached private bathroom and every amenities you ever need for your stay. She communicated effectively and was very accommodating. She really cared about our stay and was flexible. Thank you for being Awesome! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! A+++++++

Great stay. Riverdale Park has a quiet, secluded quality but is nicely accessible to College Park and DC. The basement apartment was clean, spacious, and reasonably well equipped for a long stay. (It's a basement apartment, so if you're not used to urban living, expect a bit of noise from above.) Jeffery was a swift communicator and quick to address any little snags that came up.

Phil's house was a home away from home. He was warm, friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable. We were able to walk to the AU campus and also enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms around. Phil's breakfast is legendary with cut fruits and a wide variety of options that he freshly prepares in front of you with great love. Would absolutely stay here again.

Natalie's mother lives at Airbnb and was friendly and very helpful. Vintage home with a usable kitchen in basement stocked with some basics. Would be nice to improve entrance to front door but wonderful wooded lot in scenic area. Quiet neighborhood. Close to what we needed. Would stay again! Thanks

I booked this spot somewhat last minute for a nearby conference and I'm so glad I did. Phil set me up right at home, cooked a lovely breakfast every morning, and provided gentle, astute conversation throughout. I was struck by Phil's genuine interest in his guests. He is truly curious to hear from folks from all walks of life; to listen to their stories should they choose to share. As a gentleman who has called DC home since the late 60s, his insight into the city were fascinating glimpses into living history. I also learned that Phil continues to run this beautiful BnB that he and his late wife started, carrying on her love for hosting with such intention, devotion, and care. If you're looking for more than just a place to sleep -- if you want an experience that reminds you of the beauty of human connection -- staying with Phil is an absolute gift. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like I'd made a friend. Thank you, Phil, for sharing your home. You are a breath of fresh air!

3rd time at Anthony's location. Like the previous stays, everything about the space provided, and the location were perfect! In addition Anthony's willingness to provide accommodations for my specific needs with time and his responsiveness gives him that extra wow factor. 5 stars yet again. Thank you Anthony.

Very beautiful home and peaceful. The neighborhood was slightly tricky to navigate but absolutely beautiful. Loved getting some local recommendations of things to check out. Leslie & husband were friendly and responsive.

I was dealing with Rosemary who was so warm and personable. Very responsive when I would contact her. Room and bathroom were clean as well as the downstairs area. First time at an Airbnb and I felt right at home. I would stay again if in the area. Thank you Rosemary for a great stay!
