Perfect girls weekend trip. Lots of room, big kitchen, loved the screened porch, deck and boat dock / fire pit area.

We had a wonderful time at “Bigfoots Backyard”!! Donna and Roy are wonderful hosts and some of the nicest folks I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with (hope we get to meet one day!!). They made our stay so wonderful. The thoughtfulness they put into our arrival was awesome! The sweetest welcome gifts and snacks. My girls, including our dog Olive, had a blast and we all felt right at home. It was peaceful, quiet and perfect. Everything we needed. We went for a short getaway to visit the Zoo and celebrate my husband’s birthday. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back again! Thank you again Donna and Roy!

Awesome place and would highly recommend

This was such an amazing place! There was enough to keep the littles engaged when we were there and it wasn’t extremely far from the attractions that we came to visit. It felt comfortable and was very well thought out. I will definitely be recommending this to anyone visiting the area. If we are ever out that way again, we will be staying at the creekside escape!

We spent a wonderful week at Jesse's place. Very comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed hiking in the Uwharrie Forest, visiting pottery workshops in Seagrove and the Starworks art center in Star. Highly recommend this home!

We loved our time at TLC - the home was perfect for our family getaway...plenty of space to spread out, loads of things to keep the kids entertained, comfy chairs on the screened porch, and lake/forest views that took our breath away! Debbie was an amazing host - reaching out proactively and quickly responding when we sent a message. Check in/out was easy and we are already talking about "next time!"

Terra was super responsive, but we really didn’t need much, everything was set up wonderfully. Being able to rent the water toys was such an amazing addition. We will definitely stay here again when we have another family reunion!

Perfect home for family trip with a few of my son’s friends to visit him at Pfeiffer University for weekend. Ample space for 10 people. They loved the garage hangout! We liked roomy kitchen and living room where everyone could gather. Home well equipped with everything we needed. Backyard was beautiful. And it’s a short walk to the lake. We wish we had more time to enjoy both. We’d love to return.
