We really enjoyed our stay everything is perfect with complete amenities and generous supplies. Its a great romantic getaway surrounded by nature and definitely will be back and recommend it to other people.

The place was quiet and clean and right near Texas Ren Fest. It was able to sleep all 6 of us and was great place to relax before and after the faire. Cassandra gave us all the information we needed to find the place and enjoy our stay. They even left a few things for us to make breakfast with which was incredibly welcome. I highly recommend staying here!

This was the perfect place to get away from our everyday city life. Both my fiancé and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet peaceful getaway. I’ll definitely be back. There are houses near by that let their dogs roam, we had our dogs and they never came near them and kept their distance. Even listen when we told them to go away.

Great place to getaway from busy city life!! Definitely recommended!!

My family went on a little vacation for spring break and I can say the stay was great. We had everything we needed, there were a few minor issues like one of the light bulbs were out, one of twin sinks weren’t working, also the drainage in the shower wasn’t that good but other than the stay was pretty great. The view of the lake was nice and quiet area as well. My family looks forward to staying here again in the near future.

The cabin was a really great place to stay. It was a 20 min drive to the Renaissance Festival. For 14 people, there was plenty of room in all spaces of the house. The pool table was a great addition. We didn't get to use the fire pit but if we stay again we would love to. The lights on the area and the outdoors was beautiful. The hosts stay on property and are very responsive and helpful. We asked if they had an air mattress and it was brought over in only a few minutes. They have cute farm animals. They left us a welcome gift of farm fresh eggs and honey from their bees. We also got to purchase some honey as well! It was a wonderful trip.

We had a fantastic stay at Jesse’s small cabin over Thanksgiving weekend! The cabin was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. One of the highlights was that it was dog-friendly—our pups loved exploring. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing retreat, yet close enough to Faire to make it easy to get back and forth. Jesse was a wonderful host, quick to respond to any questions and clearly thoughtful about making guests feel at home. We really loved the community fire pit! If you're looking for a charming, pet-friendly escape, we highly recommend Jesse’s cabin! We’ll definitely be back.

Our stay was wonderful. The only negative experience was the presence of the tiny, black sugar ants that was on the kitchen counters and cabinets. Recommend an exterminator treat the cabin.

My husband, me, and our four young kids stayed here for a week and had the absolute BEST time. It was so peaceful and felt secluded without actually being far away from modern conveniences and restaurants. Our kids LOVED soaring down the long winding driveway in the plasma cars, roasting sausages and marshmallows over the fire pit, collecting eggs from the chicken coop and feeding the hens, and eating meals looking out into the woods on the gorgeous back deck. There were so many thoughtful details provided like toys, children’s books, and rain boots in kids and adults sizes which made our stay even more fun, convenient, and comfortable. The cabin was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the last day of our trip when Deanna even provided all six of us with bee suits and gloves and gave us a very educational and amazing tour of her bee hives!! Everything was beyond perfect and we already have it booked again for next spring!

Merridee's place was perfect for what me and my gfs needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. The only complaints I have was weak water pressure for kitchen sink and the refrigerator water dispenser did not work. These were minor and I hope to come back one day! Thank you, Merridee!

We enjoyed staying at Reina’s home while attending a wedding for the weekend. It was a lovely little home that was more spacious than I expected. It was really clean and comfortable. I only wish we got to enjoy it more.

Sandy was a great host, welcoming and communicative. The property itself is beautiful, pictures cannot do justice. Highly recommended!

I love this place! My daughter and I stayed there in the cabin and the trailer. We were both very comfortable. The whole family came over and we had a campfire and grilled outside and had a great time! Scott is an excellent host. I liked him very much.
