We had a lovely mini break for my mum's birthday, the accommodation was perfect. Peaceful and private with a great enclosed garden for my daughters to run around. Inside the accommodation was beautiful, very homely. We will definitely return in the future.

We had an amazing holiday. Cottage was beautiful. Everything we needed in the cottage. Games room was a bonus! Plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 teens. Beautiful location. Log burner was lovely in the evening. Fantastic hosts!

My husband and I and our 20 year old daughter had a wonderful stay at Butler Cottage. The estate grounds are amazing with a mix of woodland and farm fields scattered over the hills. We enjoyed daily walks done and along the river. If your animal lovers like we are it was extra special. The Highland cows and sheep add beauty to the scenery, but the deer, hares, pheasants and other birds of prey really add the wow factor. The cottage is full of charm with an old world feel. It’s been very smartly renovated and decorated and is in great condition. We loved the farmhouse style kitchen which is open to a comfortable living room with high ceilings. The built in beds are beautifully done and although on the small side we enjoyed the authentic touch. The wood stoves on each end of the cottage work well to add extra warmth in the evenings. Ross was a gracious host. The place was with fresh flowers and a basket of fresh goods from the farm. He even had the fire started for the hot tub.

Had a great overnight stay. Very helpful and clear instructions given. All the little extras thought of. Wish I wasn’t needing to push on or I would’ve happily stayed another night.

We had a beautiful home from home stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was perfect and an ideal set up for our toddler too. The garden was wonderful to explore and it was ideal to have the woodland paths right on our front door step. The hot tub on the bedroom patio was a little sun trap and perfect for relaxing. The cottage had everything we could have wanted and a well set up kitchen. Lots of do in the local area and an evening spent by the open fire was the perfect was to end the day. Laura was a really attentive host, accommodating our extra requests and meeting us at the property - thanks for a lovely stay we would absolutely love to come back.

We visit Scotland every year and we’ve stayed in some wonderful places over the last 21 years. Gale’s place is definitely one of our top three favourites! Goodness - it is impeccably furnished, comfortable and wonderfully spacious. We absolutely loved the evenings by the fire, the bright and airy conservatory, the comfortable kitchen, extremely generous bedrooms and table tennis. We will most definitely be back if they’ll have us!

Idyllic cottage - we came as a group of four friends for a couple of nights and it was perfect. Very cosy despite the cold weather and really incredible location at the foot of beautiful hills where you can quickly get excellent views to the Cairngorms on a clear day

I have stayed in Corgi Cottage many tines, it is exactly what i need, the fact that u can take your dog is a blessing, the house has all you need, has a nice wee bench outside the front door which i managed to sit on this week in the sunshine plus a wee garden bit for the dog to potter about in the sunshine, had a great week, lots of nice walks either from the doorstep or a short drive away,looking forward to my next say

Spent a great week here with family, and we all felt at home. The property feels nice and secluded but is only a 10 minute drive from everything you need. loads of options for days out with or without kids and walks within reasonable driving distance. Bea was always easy to contact and very nice to communicate with if needed. highly recommend

We had a magical stay at the cottage! The pictures don’t do justice to it and we highly recommend getting better pictures. We got very lucky with the weather, saw sun, rainbow and snowfall! The place is also aptly located for northern lights sightings. We got amazing sightings from the cottage on two nights. The Aga kitchen is 5 stars in itself! We loved bringing in new years at the cottage with our little baby. The cot and high chair were both super helpful. Thank you Jennifer for being so responsive and helping our stay.

We booked the cottage as a last minute getaway- Hannah was able to accommodate this so kindly and happily! The cottage was so beautiful on the inside and the views outside were stunning! We visited with our little boy- Hannah had prepared a travel cot for him and there was lots of toys and books available for him too! But also good safety features like baby gates and fire guards! The beds were really comfy and the property was cosy and welcoming! The welcome book had lots of suggestions of things to see/do and places to eat! Hannah was a very communicative host too! We would stay again and have already recommended to friends! Thank you!

We had such a wonderful break at Solas Cottage in beautiful Cullen. The cottage is immaculate throughout, well appointed and a few steps from the gorgeous beach and bay. Emma & Ross were great hosts and promptly answered any queries or questions. We’d definitely return in the future.

Great stay in a beautiful cottage, so well equipped and very comfortable in a quiet area. Lovely place so close to the beach my grandson loved it as well. Recommend the Cullen Skink soup at Lily’s Cafe, very tasty

An excellent location for those looking to get away from it all yet within walking distance to Tomintoul. The well kitted out kitchen means you cam cook a feast with ease and the log burning stoves give it a real cosy feel. Would highly recommend

Our second time staying here. the cottage is perfect as a base to explore Speyside and is a very comfortable place to stay. we would happily book and stay there again

The Smithy Cottage is a comfortable and cosy stay. The house is in a beautiful part of Scotland. The house itself is spotless and has everything you need to make the place your home from home. Heather was a spectacular host. Clear instructions before hand, meeting when we arrived offering advice and making sure we had everything we needed. We were up for a whisky weekend visiting Glendronach Distillery so the Cottage was in an ideal location to just get a taxi down to the Distillery for a few drams. Will Definately be back and I would recommend Smithy Cottage to anyone whether it’s whisky, family getaway or outdoor exploring your in the area for!

This is a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful and peaceful area. The cottage is homely and the view from the conservatory is amazing.

Judith and Mark were awesome communicators. They were there to welcome us and answer any questions we had. The cottage was immaculate and the amenities were very nice. Parking was super easy, which is not always the case in Scotland! The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed. They provided coffee, tea and milk, which was an added bonus. Sitting on the back porch, drinking coffee in the morning was so peaceful and quiet. What a great way to start the day. The grounds and scenery were beautiful too! The Co-op supermarket is a two minute walk and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone. Definitely a 10/10 stay!

This cottage is very well positioned, it's within easy walking distance to the beach and to the town, or to walk down by the river. The accommodation is lovely, very tastefully decorated. comfortable and spacious. we didn't need to light the fire as it was cosy enough with the heating. My top tip would be to take a couple of hand towels with you as there are 2 bath towels provided but no hand towels and I like one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. We loved staying here and will definitely return.
