Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

The Airbnb is nice and comfortable. Loved the views and the hot tub makes the experience more pleasant. Only feedback would be to provide bathrobes for the guests.

Thank you to Vivienne for allowing us to stay in her beautiful house. It was exactly what we needed after 2 very busy days. The hot tub went down an absolute treat. The scenery surrounding the place was incredibly beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind.

I stayed about a month and travelled around a bit. It's a good location the weather is a little more dry and sunny in this area compared to the surroundings. If you need a minimalist spot to stay while in the highlands or passing through this is a good location. There are lots of places within the close vicinity to a hour each way depending on what you are looking to do. Very easy to get to and in and out of with a local shop and market a few blocks down. Host was super nice and communicative and the facilities were perfect for my needs whilst I stayed.

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

Idyllic cottage - we came as a group of four friends for a couple of nights and it was perfect. Very cosy despite the cold weather and really incredible location at the foot of beautiful hills where you can quickly get excellent views to the Cairngorms on a clear day

We stayed at Simone's place to get away from home while some work was being done to our house. It was spotlessly clean snd really cute. The location was beautiful if you were new to the area and nice and central for us locals. I can't fault anything. We were even left some chocolate tiffin and yummy apple juice and all the essentials such as toiletries, tea and coffee etc. Due to illness I felt a bit chilly on the 2nd day and Simone's kindly Dad came to explain and check the heating for us. It had everything you would need for a few days and we had a lovely peaceful time. Would recommend this flat to friends and family and easily stay again if it was needed. Thanks for everything.

Louise is a fabulous host and I had a very comfortable and cozy stay. The accommodation had everything I needed and was very well positioned for accessing the area. :)

We had a magical stay at the cottage! The pictures don’t do justice to it and we highly recommend getting better pictures. We got very lucky with the weather, saw sun, rainbow and snowfall! The place is also aptly located for northern lights sightings. We got amazing sightings from the cottage on two nights. The Aga kitchen is 5 stars in itself! We loved bringing in new years at the cottage with our little baby. The cot and high chair were both super helpful. Thank you Jennifer for being so responsive and helping our stay.

Stayed for 3 nights with my dog. Holmhead exceeded my expectations and I felt instantly at home. The location is superb and perfect for exploring the Cairngorms or even just stepping outside the front door and being in the forest. The cottage is extremely well equipped for its size and I found a few things, for guests use, that I wasn't quite expecting, (hot water bottles :) ). The brand new electric heating is very effective and the log burner is 'ferocious', but definitely a must when temperatures were below freezing. Cat is a very gracious, accommodating and genial host. I would definitely stay here again and recommend thoroughly.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in the heart of Cullen! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by its quirky vintage decor, which gives the property so much character and warmth. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, from the unique furnishings to the lovely touches of coastal inspired decor throughout. The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from local shops, cafes, and the stunning coastline, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. We truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this delightful cottage to anyone looking for a cozy, stylish retreat with fantastic amenities and a prime location. A perfect stay!

The photos do not do this place justice, its even better when your inside, the views of the sea are absolutely stunning, the apartment was spotless and very comfortable also private and safe parking, really enjoyed our stay while visiting a friend. Wonderful week long stay, in the most beautiful surroundings. So much scenery to take in! Amazing dark night skies. Comfortable, cosy and extremely well equipped cottage. Loved this area of Scotland. Loved the cottage. Megan and Sean were perfect hosts. Could not have asked for more (except maybe a little snow on the ski runs).

Ideally located in Central Forres with all local amenities easily accessed. House is clean, well equipped and great for a couple or lone traveller and is in a quiet pedestrian area just off the High Street.

Cute and cozy home that was perfect for my family of three (would well suit a family of four as well). Excellent location, will definitely stay again next time we are in town visiting family.

Our second time staying here. the cottage is perfect as a base to explore Speyside and is a very comfortable place to stay. we would happily book and stay there again

We loved the Garden House! We had rental car problems while we were there so we did not get to explore the area nearly as much as we had hoped, but if we had to be stuck somewhere, waiting for the rental company to supply us with a new car, we could not have landed in more peaceful and beautiful place. The Garden House was absolutely delightful, the bed comfy, kitchen well stocked and easy to use and the surrounding gardens just outside the three walls of windows were a complete delight. Add to this the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts and the experience couldn't have been better. We would happily stay here again. Just maybe with a different car next time. ;-)

Second time staying here. John’s very helpful and responsive. Great location…overlooking harbour and short walk to beach. Hope to stay again when up in the area for work.
