Lovely house in a picturesque surrounding. All the rooms were spacious and there were plenty of bathrooms, which is a rarity. Kitchen amenities were great too. The night skies were stunning due to lack of light pollution. Only slight downside is that the house is very loud. You can hear everyone else moving at night, no matter where they are, but especially people on the upper bedroom levels. So if you are a light sleeper who goes to bed earlier than other people, then earplugs will be handy. I would still 100% stay here again and recommend it to other guests. We were here for work, but it would also be great for just a nice private getaway. Charlestown of Aberlour is a 7 minute drive with a shop, several hotel restaurants and nice breakfast places.

We used Mill Cottage as a base for attending a wedding in a nearby town. The cottage was lovely and quiet with everything you would need for a short or a long stay. Follow the directions given by Sonia on the checking in guide as the cottage is only a short distance from the entrance to the Dalvey Estate,(don’t rely on sat nav /postcodes).

A home away from home and it was hard to leave! Everything as described if not better, all you need to make the stay as comfortable and practical as possible. Bike wash was an added bonus too, great touch especially for the area. We highly recommend staying here and visiting Aboyne/the local area, it’s stunning with so much to offer. Perfect location :)

A really lovely place to stay. The directions and details of how to access the building were spot-on. The accommodation was exactly as described and spotlessly clean and warm, with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was very well stocked with glasses and crockery and the wine & biscuits were a nice touch. We would certainly stay again.

Beautiful cottage right on the main road near all you need. Dufftown is small but there are cafes, pubs and restaurants and a well stocked co op within 5 mins walk of the cottage. Location wise, it was perfect for us to visit all the distilleries nearby. The cottage was warm when we arrived and a basket of necessities was a kind touch and was well appreciated. Forbes was very proactive and made sure we had all we need for our stay despite us only booking the day before. We stayed here for work and I'd definitely stay here again for work or pleasure as the surroundings are spectacular.

This was our second visit to the cabin, and we absolutely enjoyed it like last time. Nature around it was as breath-taking in the late winter as it was during summer. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable. We have also discovered that the cabin is surprisingly warm in winter so that we had to turn off the heating at night. Wifi connection was spot on and the signal was strong even outside the house.

Hi this was the single most amazing place i ever booked, wery clean and the entire house hade an amazing feel to it with the hot tub ,fireplace and the amzing decor it hade a traditional style in a modern house with brand new kitchen. Everything is close by you have Tesco and Lidl 5 mins away but the surroundings are wery peacefull. The host was amazing wery kind and helpfull. Thank you for the amazing holiday.

Just back from a fantastic 3 night stay. We met Humphrey when we arrived and he is a great host, friendly and easy to chat with. The apartment was extremely clean on arrival and very warm and cosy. Everything you need for cooking meals is available and nice shower/shampoo and bath products as well. Lots of windows give great views of the surrounding grounds and mountains in the distance. Lots of birds and the visiting red squirrel every day. The apartment is in a great location being close to Grantown on Spey, Aberlour and Aviemore. The Rothiemurcas estate area is well worth a visit, especially a walk around Loch Morlich and it's beach. Coffee and cake is very good in the cafe in the visitor centre at Glenmore. Can also recommend the Speyside Visitor Centre as well. It's a 4 minute drive from the apartment and the breakfast is very good! I totally recommend staying here for a break if you're looking for beautiful scenery, great food and nature at it's best. Thanks again Humphrey

Beautiful airy appartment, great location and close to all amenities. Was exactly as described and Judith was great with instructions before arrival and on the day. the welcome essential food pack was a great addition. We loved our time in Lossiemouth and I would have no hesitation in recomending Judith's appartment for a stay. We will be back.

My stay was excellent, exactly as Deborah mentioned. The traditional arrangements were charming, and everything was clean and tidy, including both the bedrooms and the bathroom. Highly recommend

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a beautifully quirky property set in a equally stunning location,a perfect couple of days a away from start to finish.The apartment was lovely,had everything needed with loads of lovely detail and we were really blown away by the attention to detail.We were very relaxed the whole time,slept very well and didnt want to go home!We will be back again soon!

Angela's place in Findhorn is simply beautiful and we had everything we needed from the amazing location, to the accommodation itself being exactly as advertised to the way the apartment is decorated and furnished. Angela made everything very easy for us; it is true, she does reply within 1 hour and we felt so welcome when we arrived. The fire was lit, there was prosecco chilling and the lamps we already on. The bay in Findhorn is stunning and the apartment is right on the sea front. It's a short walk to the sandy part of the bay to see the seals and there is a lovely pub, The Kimberley, no more than 100 metres up the road. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend Angela's place and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Findhorn. Thank you again.

Perfect stay with friends and their dogs. Close to restaurants and a great Chinese takeaway. We had afternoon tea at the Dowans Hotel celebrating birthdays , the location was perfect for that. The house itself was fabulous, very clean and had everything we needed. Comfiest of beds too! Would definitely recommend.
