We had a wonderful stay here, was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The flat has everything you will need including some snacks and fresh eggs. The hot tub was great! Susan was quick to reply and very helpful and friendly. We didn't have a car but it's easy to walk into the village where there is a lovely pub, fish and chips (cash only) and co-op. Speaking of walking, it is right next to a great trail along a sea wall looking over the salt marshes seeing birds and to my shock Blackpool. We had a great time and will hopefully be back again.

A lovely property, home from home and the host was so informative and answered any questions I had. The location was perfect for our needs and very quiet. The welcome hamper was really nice and attention to detail in all areas was very evident with nice touch’s and fragrances made the home feel clean and comfortable. Pool table and games consoles make it a stand out location for all ages to enjoy when in the house. Heating was great though the house as we had some very cold days on our stay. Hot tub and gardens well presented too and not over looked. We collectively as a family have said we will return to this property next year in the warmer months for a longer stay. Anyone reading this post then rest assured you will have a lovely stay in this property that you can relax and enjoy your time. 5 star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thankyou. Mr Anderson.

Stunning house with an amazing view, big kitchen area and bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. Great location to be close to the main village in Windermere with supermarkets & pubs/ restaurants nearby. House is a little dated and unfortunately we couldn’t get the hot tub or aga to work. Could maybe do with more essentials such as toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, bin bags, oil, spray for the sides. Even though a few minor issues Paul was great at communicating and replied quickly. I would definitely recommend this place & stay here again. Would be nice to visit during the summer.

Thank you to our fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. The accommodation and surroundings were well kept and thought out. We had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The wood fired hot tub and sauna really was the icing on the cake for our holistic retreat. Highly recommended - we will return :)

Wow !!!! I work in a busy city office and my weekends are precious. Sharon was very responsive when I messaged and gave clear helpful directions. From the second we crossed the duel carriage way it was like being transported to another world. It was secluded and very peaceful. The place itself was spotless and warm and inviting. It really was a home from home. It was comfortable in fact so comfortable we didn’t get to the hot tub until the following morning. Highly recommend this secret place. Lovely hosts explained everything to us. Loved it. Thank you

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

The cottage was cosy and clean with lots of things to keep us entertained- especially the darts board and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and modern and the local host was very helpful and responsive when we needed help as well. Overall I would 100% recommend and well worth the stay :)

Fabulous little cottage in the garden, just what we wanted. Julie was a wonderful hostess, made us feel very welcome, basic necessaties all there on arrival even fresh flowers. Already recommended to friends and family.

We’ve had a lovely stay, hosts were helpful and friendly and gave great tips for things to do. The bungalow itself was kitted out with everything needed and some lovely touches were added. Would absolutely stay again.

An absolute find! The photos don’t do this place justice. We had a really lovely, comfortable stay, it was peaceful yet a 1 minute walk from the square. It’s truely dog friendly (lots of places state dog friendly yet have tons of rules once you book!) and yet you would never know, its spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. Sandra was really responsive and helpful. We will most definitely be back 😀.

Amazing overnight stay. Beautiful surroundings, the food In the pub was incredible. Especially the pies! Will be back again for sure. Hosts and everyone were so friendly, even being our 2 big dogs it was a great stay.

Great accommodation. Very clean, spacious and cosy. We enjoyed watching the animals and meeting them. Hosts friendly and flexible.

This was my first time travelling alone with my dog. It was also my first time to the Lake District, and Cate's place, but it certainly won't be my last to either!! Cate is so kind, hospitable and helpful. She recommended great walks for us, and is so friendly and easy going. Nothing is too much trouble. Oh yes, I will also mention her yummy brownies and shortbread! I can understand the hype!! Such a great find to explore this beautiful part of the country. I really can't wait to go back!!

Wonderful place in a perfect location of Keswick. A short walking distance to the shops and the lake. Certainly enjoyed taking the dog out for his walk with all the parks near by and a stroll to see beautiful views of Derwent water. The beds were comfy and the place was nice and cosy. A good variety of entertainment in games and books for the kids as well as ourselves. Having our own parking space was very convenient. We saw a lot of cars taking forever looking for one. I will definitely look at staying again when we next visit 😀

Lovely flat in the middle of Grasmere. Parking on site. We have a VW transporter and were able to park without trouble even though it is cosy with the other car spaces. The flat was warm and cosy with a well provisioned kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. There is a cafe downstairs that starts moving things about at 9am so not perfect for long lie ins, but why would you do that in the Lakes!? Nice and quiet in the evening, wasn't disturbed by any noise as all surrounding outlets are cafe's that close in the evening. Good restaurants and pubs just a stones throw away. Would definitely return if we ever need a place to stay in that location.

John is a great host and his place was a real gem. Somehow hidden away but close to everything we needed to see and do. Would definitely stay again. Thank you John.

Beautiful property in a great location with amazing views. The house was absolutely spotless and with living room upstairs, it enables the wonderful views, and the balcony is perfect for your morning coffee. Simon’s instructions were perfect to find the property easily, and he was so responsive when we needed to contact him (as we locked the keys inside the property), he sorted immediately. Would definitely stay again, thank you so much.

Great place to stay, has everything you need was clean & tidy, lovely sitting outside in the evenings with the fire pit, 5mins from Amberside town witch has everything you need, lovely walks round the area, would recommend highly.

Great hosts and lovely place. The fridge hinge had broken and they came to resolve the issue within 10 minutes and a new fridge was sorted within the hour. 100% would recommend.

Second time staying at Ecclerigg and was perfect again. Great property, perfect for families in a wonderful location. highly recommended!!

The cabin is very rustic, has everything you need-3 TVs including in both bedrooms/Netflix/utube/all TV channels/Games/Xbox-Alexa speaker-Kitchen is extremely well equipped-you just need to get an Air Fryer keep cooking costs down-beds very comfortable-a lot of thought has gone into the cabin and its facilities-The cabin sits on the largest slot on the site with a sloping wild garden, with some fantastic trees and a swing seat the views are very peaceful although my Arnie never got the chance to enjoy it my sons dogs did. There is a swimming pool and sauna on the site which was open but we simply didn't get the chance to use it and we could have had it to ourselves, were too busy out and about-Talbot bar at bottom of lane very dog friendly and met Dave the dog who sits on reception, free pool table also-loved feeding the wild bids each morning but wasn't a fan of the owl who was up and about each night-overall a little magical cabin and land it sits on. Will visit again-All the best PM

We had a great weekend at Fir Garth. The house was well equipped for our group of 10: Good sized en-suite bedrooms with comfy beds and cosy duvets, a really well equipped kitchen ( we did lots of cooking), the main living was a great sized space, a projector, games, an extra snug room, outdoor space etc. The location was excellent, pub and shop within walking distance, excellent walks in the area, a beautiful view, quiet, easily accessible. We all agreed we would definitely come to the house again.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the lovely Middle Grove Cottage, and we absolutely loved it! Peaceful, clean, beautiful and extremely well located, the Cottages are surrounded by nature, framed in a setting that no pictures can make justice to. Despite this, the Cottages are still very conveniently located in relation to Ambleside and all the amenities. The pool and sauna were a very welcome extra, that our 2 boys (and us) took advantage of, and Sarah's homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you Sarah! We will be back :)
