This is a great place to stay and relax. Tim was very responsive and proactive. We were checking in the day after a bad snow storm and he contacted us right away to let us know how the roads were and what to expect. Since it was snowy and cold, we did not get to use the amenities. But the house is located right next to the kayak launch area and it was a very short drive to the pool/club house. We come to this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Attractive furnishings and decor, the cottage was roomy, a good amount of space for two couples. Kitchen was fairly well equipped, beds were comfortable, and we had most everything we needed. Melinda was responsive in answering our questions and accommodated our last minute request to extend our stay a night. Took advantage of the community pickleball courts, a short walk from the cottage. It was a great stay!

This was the perfect spot for our two families! The house was very clean, there was plenty of pantry space (huge amenity for us!), room for everyone to spend time together and apart. The kids loved playing in the game room too. Communication was on point! Deanna really thought of everything. Thank you!

This house was more than amazing! Looked exactly like the pictures, very clean, perfect location, stocked with dishes, coffee, silverware, etc… I would HIGHLY recommend to book this house for your next vacation!

This house is beautiful!! I stayed by myself for my birthday trip and it was 100% worth it. Amazing views, and honestly after staying here I would consider moving to morehead! I love the area, everything is so close, and the beach is right there!! I went to the aquarium and a couple of stores around there. Also went to the oyster bar for oysters of course, my favorite!! All around good trip, I will say the road to get to the house is FULL of potholes, I thought I was in the wrong place at first. Just keep following the road and it’s right there, just beware of the invisible speed bumps haha. Also the shower in the hallway the door doesn’t stay shut so just a heads up, it kept bothering me so I just used the other shower.. but Thankyou so much for letting me stay, you will proably be seeing me again this year!!

We are very glad to have stayed at Donna and Barry's place while visiting Swansboro. Their cottage was very clean and has a great layout and design. It is cute and cozy, equipped for cooking, furnished for comfort, and in an expansive setting for relaxing. The front porch and big open lawn surrounded by tall pine trees was a pleasure to breath in every morning. Our hosts are friendly and generous, and Andy the dog is a joy. We had a fun time exploring the area and fishing the water channels, including Bogue Banks and the Neuse River, and even New Bern.

This place was beautiful and the area was so quite and nice. We all slept so well and really enjoyed our stay. Johanna responded and accommodate greatly. Will stay here again.

Loved the house on the water. Waking up and walking out and watching the sunrise was awesome. The sunset was just as nice but a little obstructed by trees. The house was fantastic. 3 beds and two full bath made it very easy for us to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to cook anything at home! Pet friendly and my dogs loved the covered porch looking over the water! Ac and heat worked great and was very comfortable. I would go back.

Very welcoming hosts, clean comfortable accommodations. A very private secluded quiet space - perfect for me & my fiancé. A very lovely area on the waterfront that provided a great escape for us. Close proximity to downtown Beaufort and the ferry services to outer islands. A great place to stay & play for a couple looking for a quiet escape from the daily grind. The owners live there on the property but we never saw or even heard them - yet Susan was very responsive to us if we needed anything. Super friendly and respectful. 5 Star service & accommodations! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nice getaway for the weekend traveling with our doggies. It was a last minute trip, to attend the annual Harkers Island Decoy Festival. Apartment was clean and peaceful. We would stay again.

This place was very nice, my family and I stayed about three weeks. Everything is as advertised. Well decorated, spacious and comfortable. Mike was a good host and would highly recommend staying here especially in the summer months.

This place was perfect for our family weekend getaway. The place was spotless when we got there, cleaner than most hotels we’ve stayed at lately.. The location was perfect with lots to do around in Atlantic beach, Beaufort, Morehead City, and Emerald Isle. The beach was such a short easy walk away. Teresa & Ted were great host, very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend to stay here, will definitely stay here again!

Jennifer is absolutely amazing and kind! She makes you feel right at home. Her home is a prefect place to stay. The home is very private and restaurants are close by. The beach is only a 20 minute drive away. The pool is another plus to make for an even more fun and relaxing stay. This was our second stay and was even better this time around!

Heidi's Lofty Hideaway was everything we were expecting, but better!! Her home is right in front and the guesthouse is in the back of it. You can't see the guesthouse very well from the road but there's a little walkway path to lead you to it. When we walked in the door we were met with a clean, fresh smell. Everything was as described! The kitchen had almost everything we needed for cooking in. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Their house is right there, so you are sure to interact with them. Our stay was very worth our money, the house was clean, cute and cozy, and the chickens were just an added plus! You can be sure that you will wake up to a chorus of egg laying hens!! :) Thanks so much, Heidi!

The Cabin was amazing and had a beautiful view in the backyard. Liz was wonderful and communicated very well. Our group was satisfied with the overall experience. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a weekend getaway with a great view!

Beautiful location with great views! The cabin fit myself, my husband, and our daughter comfortably and was stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and other basics such as sheets and towels. There was no oven but there was a toaster, stovetop, microwave, and single-cup coffeemaker which worked out great for cooking meals at the cabin. The screened-in porch was perfect for having a cup of coffee in the morning and meals throughout the day. We enjoyed the walking trail and hanging out at the dock. We saw cool wildlife such as herons, frogs, and turtles. The cabins have a great location onsite, and they include a decent amount of space outside around the cabin. We enjoyed chatting with our neighbors in the cabin next door. The manager, Michael, was incredibly responsive and helpful. He responded immediately when we reached out, literally within seconds! He was also flexible with early check-in and late check-out. All in all, this was a great place and I'd highly recommend it!
