Moreton Bay City : locations de vacances

We stayed a week in Pat’s place and despite the weather being completely horrible for our entire stay we had a nice time because the unit is so bright and has a great view. The beach and salt water pool are just down the road as is the Surf Club and the large Pub/bistro. Groceries were a 20 odd minute walk but we just caught an Uber back. Ubers are plentiful in the area. The apartment itself has all the new appliances listed by Pat (only the stove top is different - not sure why but it worked fine). There’s plenty of hot water and the water pressure is good. The beds are very comfortable and there’s plenty of wardrobe space. The only thing I would suggest is that there needs to be a mobile aircon unit in the living room during the very humid days when stuck inside. The fans are good but they didn’t do the trick. Sleeping was ok as there are aircon units in both bedrooms. Unfortunately due to the weather we were not able to use the roof but the view is great from up there.

Beautiful cottage, not what we expected from the word “cottage” as it was so spacious inside. Loved being surrounded by nature.

We were at a party 500m away flying in from Sydney so we didn’t have a car. It was great to be able to check in early and she had really nice staples available so when we arrived we could have coffee, eggs, sourdough etc so we wouldn’t need to walk straight to the shop. Aircon was heaven, place was spotless and very close to a walking path that takes you to the water, or restaurants, bars, the jetty or outside public pool. It’s an extremely well decorated and comfy home, and super clean with nice bathroom extras so us ladies don’t have to lug our expensive shampoos and hair dryers. Suuuper host

Super nette und schnuckelige Unterkunft in toller Umgebung! Schön angelegter Garten. Wir mussten leider wegen Zyklon Alfie vorab abreisen (sonst wären wir länger geblieben), aber auch das hat super geklappt. In der Eile haben wir die AirPods auch noch vergessen, diese wurden aber völlig unkompliziert für uns aufbewahrt und wir konnten diese einfach später abholen! Durch die schnellen Antworten von Melainie war das auch sehr unkompliziert! Zusätzlich wurden wir von ihr über Wetterbedingte Änderungen informiert, somit konnten wir die zugänglichen Straßen finden. Vielen Dank und Jederzeit gerne wieder !!!

I gifted this experience to my fiancé for his 30th birthday, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made! It was all we needed! The cottage is absolutely stunning, and even the amazing photos don't do it justice. Nancy was incredibly kind and helpful; communication before our stay was smooth and informative. The space was spotless, and the breathtaking view was the cherry on top (especially when enjoyed from the hot tub). I’m already looking forward to coming back in winter. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway!

Jo greeted us on arrival and gave us a walk-through of the cottage. As soon as we entered, it felt like "home". It was spotless and felt like a real beach cottage. She left some bread, milk and butter in the fridge, which was really kind and thoughtful. The location was perfect. We stayed with our two kids and it was such a close walk to the beach. We enjoyed Sutton's Beach, Settlement Cove Lagoon, many walks along Margate Beach and drove further afield to Bribie Island and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. But we could have easily stayed there and relaxed too! Jo and Mandy were very friendly hosts. Great to be able to use the washing machine and Netflix for the kids! Thanks for looking after us. We loved it!

I had a fantastic stay at Lisa’s place! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—close to the beach and walkable distance to restaurants. Lisa was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing clear instructions and great local recommendations. The check-in/check-out process was smooth, and the amenities provided made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

We had a beautiful stay in this amazing apartment! Maybe the cleanest apartment we’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautifully renovated with incredible ocean views and short walk to cafes, shops, and of course the beach! 10/10 recommend. Will come back!
