Our experience was absolutely amazing! The trip was incredibly peaceful, with a lovely deck perfect for enjoying a morning read while listening to the birds. The property itself was beautiful, with well-maintained trails that made exploring a delight. While some upgrades had been made since the listing photos were taken, the improvements only enhanced our stay—it was even better than we expected! We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you!

Our group of 4 really enjoyed this place for a quick weekend get away! From the comfy beds, to the fireplace, fire pit, privacy, nice surroundings on the farm and most of all, a very reasonable price! Close to Muir valley and most hiking in the red river gorge. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Loved the cabin and the view. Comfortable beds and furniture. Well stocked with everything we needed. The grill was my fiancé’s favorite part and now I need to buy him one. 😊 Unfortunately, the neighbors are not on board with the “Quiet time after 10pm”. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood which are very friendly but are aloud to bark and howl/hunt at night. Amy did everything she could to help with the situation. We appreciated her efforts. Don’t let it stop you from staying - as the cabin and area is gorgeous. Just be advised. Thank you, Amy, for being a gracious host!

We loved this cozy cabin in the woods. We spent our Thanksgiving there and cooked a full dinner. There is a marvelous screened in back porch and a fire pit that the kids loved. We spent all of our time around that pit. Plenty of parking and it even snowed the morning we left.

We had booked for 3 nights. Jim greeted us , and showed us around. We spent 1 night then Storm Helena hit. Jim kindly called us at our event to let us know a tree had gone down and there was ( and wouldn’t be) electricity. So we had to find another place to stay. No fault of Jim’s! The cabin is up a beautiful mountain road, and has all conveniences. We would like to return someday.
