We instantly felt right at home at Bird Land for our girls trip! Eric was super accommodating and attentive. The house is very comfortable with a lot of historic charm. The sunny window bed and bird watching area are so beautiful and peaceful. Gorgeous stained glass windows. There is so much room to spread out! The basement bedroom(s) would be great for kids to have their own space. We had a great time and would love to come back.

It was a beautiful location and peaceful. The home is quaint and practical. I will book again in the future, when returning to Berkley Springs!

This house was perfect for 3 families with young kids! We spent time at the indoor pool and enjoyed the games provided at the house. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood. The grill at the clubhouse is closed due to a fire, which we fortunately realized ahead of arrival, as we had planned to eat there the first night. Having a washer and dryer in the house was handy, just remember to bring detergent. One of our friends got a massage at the Woods spa and said it was incredible! We didn’t take advantage of the gym but it was spacious and relatively empty. We were there during a wind storm and lost power, unfortunately it never restored so we decided to leave a night early. Anna was very responsive, but cell service was spotty so communication was tough during this situation. There aren’t restaurants or places close by, so just something to keep in mind.

This was our fourth year booking the Sunshine House and our third year with Emily—and hands down, this was the best stay yet! The house has seen some great improvements, and it was noticeably cleaner than ever before, which we really appreciated. Emily is an incredible host—responsive, thoughtful, and we even had the pleasure of meeting her in town this time, which made the experience feel even more personal. We already can’t wait to come back next year!

Very good escape place for a weekend or longer. Breakfasts on the large deck and outdoor time in the beautiful forrest surroundings were my family’s favorites. Cabin has everything you may need, although if you plan to cook by yourself I recommend to bring your own cookware as the one in the cabin is pretty worn out. Heather responds quickly if you have any inquires. There’s Internet link and TV if you absolutely must stay connected. Verizon’s reception is pretty poor but one can still text or make the phone calls.

Truly a beautiful home. Spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly maintained. Beautiful views of the mountains. Even though we were able to do less exploring and hiking in the area than we would have liked due to the snow and cold, we had a wonderful, cozy time up atop the hill there. (Rana warned us about the snow several days in advance, so we were mentally prepared). Hope to get back again sometime in spring, summer, or fall.

Courtney and Christian’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and quiet, yet with plenty of entertainment options. Close to hiking, parks, the Cacapon River, and the quaint little town of Berkeley Springs. Staying in to enjoy the cottage was extremely fun too. Pool table was a hit! Sitting outside relaxing with the sounds of nature even better. A couple cozy fires and delicious pizza making was on point. We where very happy to enjoy it all.

We booked Lindsay's wonderful house "Somewhere in the Woods" at the last minute seeking refuge from the chaos of inauguration weekend in DC. This was the perfect respite! Quiet, peaceful, and with all of the little touches of home you need! There were plenty of fresh towels, cozy beds (my daughter LOVED the bunk bed in her roo), a well appointed kitchen, a relaxing hot tub on the deck, and beautiful scenery out every single window. There was a snowstorm the weekend we were there and it only added to the ambience! Lindsay was proactive in communicating with us about the weather, offering us an early check-in and late check-out so we wouldn't have to worry about the weather. I spent most of the weekend tucked under a blanket, reading a book, while gazing out at the snow and enjoying the fireplace. We had a chill dinner in Berkeley Springs at a family friendly brewery Lindsay recommended before the weather hit, but will definitely be back to check out more of the area in the future!

Lesley's apartment was wonderful! Plenty of space for 2 Adults and 2 children and the neighborhood is walking friendly! The place has the cutest vibes. It was clean and very nicely furnished.

If you're planning on visiting Harper's Ferry this is a perfect location to stay. A 5 min ride to the downtown area and, in our case, a nice 15 min bike ride. There's a great bakery right across the street (morning pastries, e.g.) and a fantastic restaurant that's 10 min up the road on Washington St.

The location was perfect and so was everything else. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

I really liked it. You can walk to the slope in about 2 minutes, put your skis on and ride. Place was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. And there is a huge 86” tv so you can lay in bed and be at the cinema! WiFi works. Ac and heat works. Great place!

Tammi was wonderful . Very helpful and friendly . The apartment was so cute and well decorated. I could live there . I travel down 81 frequently and will for sure be staying there on my trips .
