This four bedroomed house was in a brilliant location and very close to the beaches, pubs and town centre. The house was over three floors which helped with spacing out the two families. There was a double bedroom on the lower floor, a double with en-suite on the first floor and then a further two king bedrooms on the second floor. There is only one parking space but we found alternative parking for the second car on the cobbled street outside. The house has plenty of space and well equipped with crockery and utensils. The bedding and towels were all clean. The WiFi wasn’t great especially with no phone signal. All in all though a Lovely home in a great location.

We stayed here for 1 night as 2 families of 4 on our way back to North Yorkshire from Scotland. We wanted to do some coastal stop offs and this property located right off the A1 was ideal. We all loved the unique space on the ground floor consisting of a bar, pool room/ games room. The adults and children all socialised in the space on the evening….like having our own private pub! The children enjoyed the garden and park directly out the back. We lit a fire in the living room on the evening and enjoyed a home cooked meal in the open plan kitchen. The bedrooms were comfy and clean with the two main bedrooms having en-suites! Thank you so much for having us.

Beautiful barn. Fully equipped in every way. Spotless through out. Great location. Host extremely helpful. Had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it.

Very comfortable and attractive apartment right in the middle of the amenities and very well placed for all the local attractions.

We visit St Andrews several times a year and always stay in apartments when visiting our daughter. This was by far the nicest we have stayed in as it’s so clearly stayed in by the owners and wasn’t as clinical as some others. Nicely decorated, Comfortable beds, great bathrooms and well equipped kitchen and the added bonus of secure parking. Easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops and beaches. We definitely hope to stay here again.

What can I say, it was perfect. The location is amazing, everything is on your doorstep, cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, with Alnwick Castle about a 3 minute walk. The accommodation was absolutely lovely, so homely and cosy but also very stylish. The bathroom is beautiful. It had everything we needed for our stay. Would absolutely recommend this if you plan on a trip to Alnwick. Kelly, the host, was great and made our stay so easy and stress free. We have just had a wonderful 4 days and will definitely be returning to stay at this accommodation again in future. Highly recommended.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HOME! This is probably the BEST place we have ever stayed in with Airbnb. The house we spotless and everything was so well provided for. They even had hot chocolate for kids and really good coffee options for adults, pasta, rice, so many canned food options and oats and what not. Fully stocked kitchen! For kids, they had lots of toys and books. The kids room was the highlight - they had really amazing books nicely laid out as well as a wonderful very clean kitchen set for kids to play with. It really felt like we have just walked right in our home. The playground was the cherry on top. Kids loved climbing and swinging. They even had bubble sets and outdoor playset for the kids and a BBQ set for those who wish to try their hand at BBQ. Can't recommend them enough. Our family of 8 had a great stay and we loved every minute of it. Wished we stayed longer here. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Edinburgh!

We had a great stay at Lobster Cottage. We really liked a lot of the decor in the cottage, especially the painted floorboards throughout. The Christmas tree there for our Festive stay was a nice touch. Easy to park outside the cottage, and all the main amenities of Alnwick are walking distance away. We’ve stayed in four different Airbnb’s in Alnwick now, and think this is our favourite one so far.
