We absolutely loved our stay at Sammy’s place. The flat was easy to find with the descriptions/directions given prior. The host was very quick at responding when I queried parking (which was no issue at all). It was all exactly as described with a nice homely feel. The bedding felt luxurious, the towels were soft, the sofas super comfy and there was even a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. The location was superb, so close to the centre of Hexham, yet very quiet. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend to others. Thank you ☺️

The flat was perfect, everything we could have needed was available. It was easy to go around in Newcastle by foot or metro, and all in all we had a great stay! Thanks for hosting us!

This largish well apportioned apartment was just the ticket for our trip to Sunderland. Located in a lovely quiet suburb of Edwardian(?) houses the flat is on the second floor of a three story house. Clean and functional it was a convenient ten to fifteen minute walk to the city centre which was ideal. Not far from the Ivy House pub where there is a great selection of real ales and a tasty pizza offering. Key box entry was easy with parking outside in the lane was a bonus. Shower was good also. The apartment was spotless and clean reasonably priced - served our needs well.

Fabulous stay to see Durham and the surrounding are. We had a 6 month old baby with 4 adults and the place was brilliant for soundproofing, but enough WiFi for the monitor and Senna was happy to help in any way. Would recommend and come back again! Thank you.

Our German intern really enjoyed his stay. The accommodation was very nicely decorated, clean and well presented. It's close to the local shops which he found very useful. thank you!

Great place to stay and visit Northumberland. The Lookout at the top of the apartment gives you a good view of the area and is great for breakfast or a drink at the end of the day. Place was clean, warm and exactly as described by the owner who was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. It is just outside of the town walls and there are plenty of places to eat, drink and get groceries. We had a great time.

We loved loved loved this place! Hoping to come back soon. The house was perfect for my family (2 adults and 2 kids). The kids loved the enclosed garden, the toys and games around the place. I loved the utility room (I know 🤦‍♀️😂), the living room space, the en-suite and the kitchen/dining space. I also really loved the location, we walked to the beach and the park each day. The whole estate was quiet and friendly. Gary was proactive in giving great (free) ideas of what we could do when the weather changed. He was friendly and helpful without interrupting our holiday. I cannot put into words how much we loved the house. There were so many lovely touches round the house (like automatic lights on the stairs) which made the house exciting to the kids. We loved this property and would definitely book it again!

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

We were staying up there for my Sons wedding , then we stayed on a little over Christmas to see the children . The Ubers are amazing and I just downloaded the app ‘Uber eats ‘ as well and they can do a shop for you from the Coop ,Sainsbury’s and Tesco and more . Uber travel was very good and reasonable . Area of house is great for Newcastle , Durham or Bernard castle area . Rooms are a good size , beds comfortable. Walking for elderly parents was nice and they increased their fitness immensely , as the fresh air has helped them along with the trips to the countryside which is all around . Very Clean throughout . Comfy sofa and large chair. Great for a family . Garden is enclosed and very safe . Rachel has been a very kind host , and fast to respond to any querys , I would recommend the area and the home , the locals are friendly and there’s a Tesco express which has a bit of everything , in walking distance . Warm and welcoming, banister on stairs plenty of cupboards . A*

We enjoyed our stay in this property, it was decorated to a high standard and had a good amount of space for our needs. It had almost all the facilities we needed to celebrate Christmas (we needed to buy a few more trays for the oven but that was about it). One thing to be aware of that we missed when booking is that the bathroom is downstairs at the back of the house, behind the kitchen, which was a bit of a surprise as we didn't remember seeing that noted before booking, however didn't cause us too many issues during the visit. The only other thing to note is there were a few minor maintenance issues (missing/dead light bulbs for example) that should be fixed, however again this didn't cause any problems during the stay, just something that could be improved to fully bring out the potential of the space.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

Cosy and ingenious use of space. Loved the thoughtful decor and the fabulous selection of books. Within easy walking distance of shops and the lovely Milan restaurant.

The cottage was exactly as described. The owners were very communicative and we had no issues during our stay at all. It is a great location, nice and quiet very close to Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Pete's place is perfectly situated, right in the heart of Alnmouth and only a few steps from the beautiful beach. The apartment is spacious and has lovely sea views. We really appreciated the flexible early check in.

We absolutely loved our stay at the flat, it was so welcoming, beautiful and relaxing, which is just what we wanted. We liked that we could park our car up and then didn’t need to use it again until it was time to leave. The gardens, castle, shops and restaurants are all so close so we could walk everywhere. Even though, everything is within walking distance the flat is situated in a lovely quiet area, which helped us to unwind and relax in the evening and enjoy playing a game of scrabble which was a lovely touch to the flat. The flat is definitely great value for money and we would recommend it to everyone to stay there. Linda was so quick to respond and gave really clear instructions to allow us to have an easy check in. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely flat, we really did have a wonderful time!

We had a great and relaxing 3 days in Alnwick. A great location to explore both the town and beautiful surrounding area. Fabulous accommodation and close to amenities. Barry was a great host. Would definitely recommend 👍

Just spent a few days at John's place, this is a beautiful, modern 'home from home' apartment, very tastefully decorated with lots of skandi touches and spotlessly clean throughout. Upon arrival we immediately felt right at home, the apartment was lovely and warm with subtle fresh scents throughout, the welcome treats were such a nice touch too. Location is great set in a quiet residential area and just a 5 minute walk into Alnwick with it's great choice of pubs, bars and restaurants...we particularly loved Dirty Bottles, Mumbai Indian and Carlo's fish & chips. The Joiners Arms in High Newton is a great choice for lunch after a stroll along Embleton Bay. Despite the cold the weather was beautiful during our stay which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful beaches and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend John's place and would love to return. Lovely place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Nice area and very quiet, garden and hot tub were very private. Has everything and more that we needed. Paid for decorations for birthday party and it was above expectations. Left a little treat for the dog too which was lovely. Would 100% recommend, and would go again.

El lugar es hermoso, las habitaciones muy bonitas, las camas fueron muy cómodas y el departamento está muy bello, tiene detalles muy bonitos y con muy buen gusto. La cocina muy completa y la lavandería muy útil. Nos hubiera encantado tener más tiempo para disfrutar ya que solo dormimos una noche ahí, pero todo está cerca caminando y la zona muy bonita. Steph fue muy linda al dejarnos aparcar después del check out ya que queríamos ir a disfrutar un poco de la ciudad antes de salir a nuestro próximo destino. Súper recomendado para hospedarse en este lugar 👌
