We were very satisfied with our stay at the treehouse. We love visiting Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve and this is a perfect place to rest our feet after a long day of hiking. The space was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like rocks.

we had to get together for a late Thanksgiving early Christmas out of town family and this was the perfect home to host that! Everything was well laid out, there was activities from our youngest to the oldest, we had great weather, so was able to sit in the backyard with a fire a few nights. We spent a lot of time cooking as a family, and the kitchen was perfect for that. I highly recommend Brickside Beds and will be telling family about it in the future!

We got out of the city to enjoy some peaceful, family time. This place was just exactly what we wanted and needed. It was absolutely perfect and we can’t wait to come back again! Thanks so much for hosting us!

Laura was a great host! A few friends and I came to Emporia for a disc golf weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The property was within short driving distance to some of the best disc golf in Kansas. And we really enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit in the evening after a long day of disc. Would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely home which has been beautifully decorated, and the setting is very peaceful. We loved our weekend there and would definitely return for another stay.

We booked our stay about 2 weeks out to attend my sons sporting event, I needed to add one more guest mid-week Heather was very responsive to messages before arrival. My children (13,10,5) really enjoy the outdoors and were ready to explore the property as soon as we parked. Our stay wasn't as long as we'd like with our early morning departure, if we are ever back in the area needing to stay, we'll definitely be checking availability. The farm store was open when we arrived, it offered milk (I'm guessing from their milk barn on property), meats, homemade soaps, honey and apple butter. Seeing the farm animals out and about on the property was an added bonus.
