Beautiful home! Spacious and clean, perfect for my group of 5. The plentiful decor was tasteful and living room is cozy with large couch. Location was quiet and private, conveniently near a Bonus, and close to major highways. The space is well stocked: Whether you need laundry related products, extra pasta sauce, quality coffee machine, etc you can find it. Would highly recommend for a cozy stay, truly like a home away from home.

We had a lovely stay. Tinna was very helpful and the place was perfect. Very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed and some additional small touches which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend this apartment.

La sistemazione e’ stata quanto di meglio potessimo aspettarci. La casa consente di ospitare 7/8 persone in un ambiente accogliente, caldo e ben arredato, con una cucina fornitissima di tutto quello che può servire. Due bei bagni con doccia molto puliti e forniti di molti asciugamani. La titolare è stata molto premurosa nel contattarci per fornirci in anticipo tutte le indicazioni utili e molti suggerimenti su quanto poteva offrire il circondario. Selfoss e’ un’ottima base per visitare la parte sud dell’Islanda e la casa e’ in una zona tranquilla, qualche kilometro fuori città, attigua ad un allevamento di cavalli, ma allo stesso tempo molto comoda a tutti i servizi utili per gli approvvigionamenti quotidiani. L’esperienza vissuta è stata eccellente.

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Logement très confortable sur Selfoss. La décoration est soignée, tout est fait pour qu’on s’y sente bien, la literie est parfaite. Bon emplacement pour les visites du Sud/Sud-Ouest de l’Islande.

Das Appartement war sehr schön und gemütlich. Wir fühlten uns vor beginn an wie zu Hause und genossen die Ruhe auf dem Land sehr. Tolle Lage für Ausflüge zum Golden Circle und weitere Orte. Würde sofort wieder buchen.

Arndis’s place is awesome, very close to city centre, has everything you could possibly need and more. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. I will definitely be coming back when I get a chance! Recommend to anyone that’s looking for a good place in Iceland!

Great house, very clean and easy to find. Host was extremely quick in replying and helpful. Would recommend as a base if exploring Rekyavik and south Iceland!

Fantastic family accommodation. Beautiful views & stylish but practical interior. Lots for kids to do inside the house (for bad weather days!). Would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again if we come back to Iceland in the future!

Clean and beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The place felt remote but was near enough to Selfoss to make grocery shopping and eating out very convenient. The house was immaculate, very well equipped, and exactly as described. We were able to watch the northern lights from the beautiful deck and we were able to interact with the sweet horses on our way to and from the property. Edda was very communicative and explained everything very well. We would definitely stay here again!

Wir haben uns sehr zu Hause gefühlt. Der Gastgeber hat sich toll um uns gekümmert. Wir haben die Wohnung sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Schade eigentlich, dass wir weg mussten. Wir wären gern noch mehrere Tage geblieben, da es eine Umgebung ist, in der man gerne länger ist.

Casa ideal para ir con niños. Muchos servicios y bastante completa. Cerca de Selfoss y Hella, por lo que encontraréis supermercados cerca, siempre en coche. Te proporcionan toallas, café, productos de higiene personal. También dispone de cuna de viaje para bebés. No hay funda en las almohadas para dormir, el jacuzzi no funcionaba.

Inga was a wonderful host! She met us outside offered to help with our bags. Suggested restaurants in the area and also a spot to hopefully catch the northern lights! Her place was clean and welcoming! Bed was extremely comfortable! Cute neighborhood too!

A beautiful house With easy access to the ring road. Hal was a wonderful host trying his best To help with little issues that arose. We were a group of 9 and enjoyed every bit of our stay. Would definitely return

Stayed here for 3 weeks to study, so we rented the entire apartment. The location was perfect, lovely parks and an ice rink nearby, and only a short bus ride or 25 minute walk by the sea to downtown reykjavik. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook and clean. Hakon had loads or information left available on tours, bus routes, restaurants etc, that were very helpful. A home away from home.

Diese Unterkunft ist traumhaft und idyllisch, mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und sehr bequem. Nach einem langen Fahrt von Akureyri nach Süden wir sind einfach in einem Paradies gelandet-so hat auf uns die Unterkunft gewirkt! Versteckt zwischen Bäumen und viel Blumen , wunderschön ausgestattet und mit eine großartige Terrasse vorne ! Wir werden diese drei Nächte lange in Gedanken behalten! Eidur ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat sofort geantwortet und ein paar gute Hinweise gegeben was wir noch sehen können. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können nur dankbar sein und weiter empfehlen! Wirklich ein Paradies!

One of the best places we stayed while in Iceland. We were able to walk to the private black sand beach to watch the sunset. So picturesque and beautiful. The yurt was very comfortable. The heated beds were perfect. Even caught a glimpse of the northern lights! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Elín’s “house of happiness” is nothing short of a dream come true! My husband and I loved every single second at this incredible secluded cabin outside of Selfoss and already dreaming of our next trip back. Elín is a warm and accommodating host, you won’t find a lovelier and more thoughtful host out there. And don’t get us started on the outdoor shower! It has the perfect temperature and pressure! Alojamiento increíble, muy cómodo y tranquilo, cada vez que llegábamos a casa era un gusto estar ahí. Se duerme muy bien y calentito, y depende del tiempo puedes ver las auroras boreales desde el apartamento.

The place was very close to the city center and was an amazing stay. It is also very close to the buses and pick up shuttles as well!. It felt very roomy and cozy even throughout the windy and rairainy weather.

Such a fantastic place to stay with honestly the best Airbnb host we have had! The cottage is so lovely and cosy, and Hafdis was so kind and welcoming. Would love to be back in the future ! Definitely recommend !

Casa molto calda,comoda hai supermercati e zona molto tranquilla. La posizione e è ottima per intraprendere viaggi fuori reykjavik. A me è piaciuta molto!
