Moss Town : locations de vacances avec accès à la plage

Sheila’s “Lower Deck Apartment” was a perfect jump off spot for our active family of four. Although not within practical walking distance from the beach or amenities, everything was a short drive away. Groceries, restaurants, beaches, boat rentals, etc. were nearby. You will need a rental car if you stay here, or get really good at arranging taxis. We couldn’t find snorkeling gear to rent, so we bought some where Sheila recommended and donated it to the house. The apartment is peaceful and pretty with just enough of the basics to cook most anything. The beds are plastic coated, which we figured is normal in the tropics. But it does make for noisy shifts in the night. All in all, we would like to return to Sheila’s place should Exuma be a future destination. The island is just wonderful with excellent splashing and snorkeling, and the many locals we interacted with were warm. The general easygoing vibe there affected the whole family.

We had a lovely stay at Bonefish La Vista. Jott the property manager was fantastic and made sure we had all the island information we needed as well as making sure we were okay during the stay. The beach location is incredible and the apartment ticked all our boxes. A fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again if/when we revisit Exuma!

We really enjoyed staying here, but bring extra towels. Lol The ocean is right there and waking up every morning with a cup of coffee and looking out at the pristine water was like a dream. The island is a welcoming, beautiful place with amazing local foods and gorgeous outlooks. The local people are friendly and helpful. Will defiantly go back again.

perfect location and had everything we needed. Including beach chairs, umbrella and snorkeling masks. Netflix on the TV cold AC. Only down side was low water pressure in the shower and sliding back door sticks but that's expected on the beach! Definitely staying again next time!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Cephas ! Très bon rapport qualité prix. Le logement est situé au centre de l’île. Excellente organisation concernant notre arrivée, nous avons louer une voiture chez un ami de Cephas. Celui ci nous attendait à l’aéroport avec une pancarte avec notre nom. Hôte très arrangeant ! Je recommande +++

Great location. Right on the beach. More rustic than luxurious if that’s your vibe welcome to paradise. The community and people you will meet are far more beautiful than any 5 star resort. Levi is an outstanding host! The family is very welcoming and will do whatever it takes to make things convenient. If you are looking for local knowledge of the water ways good luck finding someone better! Thank you Captain!

The house is amazing and the location is perfect for exploring the island, and there is also a restaurant across the street where you can eat or take away! Meredith is a fantastic host, very present and gave us lots of tips to enjoy Exuma!

Not even sure where to start…if we could give this a 10-star rating, we would. We knew by prior reviews that Travis and Resa would be awesome, but they exceeded our expectations. Responded within minutes, gave us the best beach and restaurant recommendations, and there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t in the house. It had everything. We were so mad when we landed because we forgot our Bluetooth speaker for our boat days - guess what? There was one in the house for us to use! Totally felt like we were at home. Travis and Resa were great, but it’s hard to describe the private beach and the view from the house. It’s hard to describe unless you see it firsthand. Pictures don’t do it justice. This house is a piece of true paradise! If you’re trying to decide between this place and another, choose this one. Will definitely be rebooking for next year. This place is a hidden gem with top notch hosts.

The house was really nice and as described, located in a more quiet area on Exuma. Direct beach access from the terrace. Check-In and communication was nice and easy. All facilities as described.

The house was as described. If you are looking for a quiet little place with your own personal cove/beach area, then you have found it. The only people we saw was an occasional boat go by. There is 1 neighbor, however we only saw them leave in the morning and come home at night. We enjoyed using the kayak and beach chairs the most.

Appartement très bien équipé ! Accessoires de plages mis à disposition ; serviettes de plage, glacière, bouées.. De plus, la situation géographique est parfaite, proche de supermarché, près de l’aéroport, près des taxis boat et au milieu de l’île afin de pouvoir tout explorer! Le meilleur pour la fin: la vue. Le café du matin n’a pas la même saveur sur ce balcon façon à la mer 🌊

Natasha is great! The house is beautiful! The beach is amazing! We chose Tranquility to celebrate our 25th anniversary and Natasha helped make it better than we anticipated. She left a bottle of Prosecco and a sweet note wishing us the best. Not sure how she arranged it but we even had the entire beach to ourselves for the entire week! Whether a quick get-away, a much needed vacation or a special occasion, we highly recommend Tranquility by the Sea! The house is beautiful, well maintained and has everything needed! Got a chance to meet a few of the local neighbors and they were very kind and respectful. Even a couple of friendly neighborhood dogs stopped by to make sure everything was okay.

A Home Away from Home in Paradise 💫🏝️ We recently stayed at the Jericho Beach House in Exuma, and it was an extraordinary family trip! The moment we arrived, Exuma and the Jericho house felt like home. A special thank you to Karin, who was incredibly helpful. She provided excellent suggestions on restaurants, boat rentals, and anything else we needed, responding almost instantly to our requests. We didn’t meet Karin, but we left feeling like we made a new friend. The cottage exceeded our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice—it’s clean, with comfortable beds and nice linens. The kitchen is fully equipped with every gadget imaginable, making cooking a breeze. We enjoyed local fish and lobster from vendors nearby. The huge grill outside, made cooking and dinning el fresco so enjoyable. The beach, right outside the door, is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. The location is perfect, being close to Georgetown and the airport. We highly recommend this gem, we will be back so

Pamela is the ultimate gracious host. The tree house is charming, the walk through their botanical gardens to the beach is lovely. Old Hoopers Bay is centrally located so great to explore the island.

Marina was an absolute wonderful host. She was very responsive, helpful and friendly. I never felt like a burden when reaching out with questions. When we arrived she had even bought a bottle of Chardonnay for my husband and I as we were on our honeymoon. Very thoughtful. The unit was cute and perfect. It was in the back but that just made it that much more private. We would definitely stay here again!

L'alloggio era veramente carino. A breve distanza dal mare. Ho trovato pulitissimo e disposto molto bene. Spazioso e comodo. Molto molto buono il rapporto prezzo/qualità. Devo aggiungere che Tamara mi ha inviato anticipatamente tre pagine di consigli di grande utilità, sempre di sua iniziativa. Putroppo ho avuto un contrattempo fisico che mi ha costretto ad interrompere la vacanza e a rientrare in Italia. E cosa ha fatto Tamara ? Mi ha rimborsato praticamente l'intero soggiorno, pur non essendo tenuta a farlo. Cosa dire ? Persone splendide. Se andate ad Exuma, posto da sogno, e volete trovare un'ottima situazione logistica al di fuori della ville a 1000 euro al giorno....andate da Tamara. Super consigliato.

Mon voyage etait parfait, mon hote ma super bien accueilli. Elle etait la à m'aider à chaque fois que j'avais besoin de qqchose. Elle repondait toujours super vite à mes messages. Merci encore pour tous 🥰

Nous remercions chaleuresement Terecita pour sa gentillesse, son accueil tres chalereux dès l'aéroport pour nous enmener au logement, la propreté et la beauté de la maison et du cadre, les nombreux equipements et surtout tous ses conseils et son aide pour l'organisation parfaite du voyage. C'est assurément la meilleure hôte que nous avons rencontré parmis tous nos voyages. Nous repartons des Bahamas avec pleins de souvenirs et une expérience inoubliable : nage avec les requins, raies, excursion en bateau sur les nombreuses îles.... Le logement est idéalement situé pour Exuma. Merci infiniment Terecita 🙏🙏🙏

Wow! Appartement situé au 2eme étage, directement sur la plage. Pendant la semaine entière nous n’avons vu qu’un seul groupe de 4 personnes sur l’immense plage devant la maison! L’appartement est plus grand qu’il n’y parait sur les photos, très bien équipé pour cuisiner, beaucoup de serviettes de toutes sortes (incluant serviettes de plages) et accessoires de plage (parasol, chaise de plage, palmes, bac à sable, etc). Il y a aussi du savon à main, shampooing, body wash, sac poubelle, détergent lessive, détergent lave vaisselle, bref tout ce qu’on a besoin pour notre séjour! On espère pouvoir y revenir dans quelques années, c’est un vrai paradis !

This place was incredible and has hosts to match! Lidia and Eric went above and beyond to communicate with us before and during our trip. They were so helpful and answered any questions we had immediately! The condo is located in great proximity to most things we wanted to do and seemed central to the airport and to the main town of George Town itself. We rented a car and explored the island but I wish we had devoted more time to just enjoy the beach at the condo. It is simply beautiful at Hooper’s Bay. We spent many afternoons and evenings just floating in the bay or going for a trip in the kayak or paddle board. They have many chairs as well on the beach. The balcony/deck chairs are great to sit out on and enjoy the view from above. The concrete stairs down to the beach can feel a little steep but there is a handrail and they are really wide and easy to navigate. Outdoor showers and water hose was placed perfectly to use after being on the beach. Comfy beds and a nice kitchen area!
