Pascale is a fantastic host and her place is the perfect stay for anyone wanting to visit Castlemaine. She is super friendly and was available to answer any questions we had. Such a great host, thanks again Pascale. The house is in a great spot within walking distance to Castlemaine centre, very homely, cosy, really well furnished with everything you need and more. We truly felt at home there. The time we spent also in the garden relaxing as a family was also definitely a highlight. Couldn’t recommend enough, thank you Pascale we hope to come back again one day.

This place is an absolute gem. Stayed here with my partner and it was an extremely large space, but still felt cozy. Architecture is excitingly unique. The surrounding trees provide great privacy and atmosphere. The check-in and -out process was swift as Deborah is extremely responsive. The Castlemaine shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. Highly recommend.

What a nostalgic, cozy abode! We had a delightful time listening to the eclectic CD and taking in the detailed spoon collection! Plus the fresh delicious figs off the backyard tree was an absolute highlight!

We were greeted by Jackie and David upon arrival. The Stone Edge South Cottage was exactly as described, and exceeded all of our expectations! It was equipped with all amenities, down to everything required for breakfast for our two-day stage at the cottage. Thank you for providing such a wonderful space for us to unwind and enjoy some downtime on a weekend away.

We had the most amazing stay here! Our dogs were in absolute heaven—there’s a beautiful pond where they spent hours swimming, a huge yard for them to explore, and plenty of space to run around. The property itself is stunning, with gorgeous surroundings that made for the most peaceful and scenic getaway. One of our favourite things was just sitting outside, enjoying the fresh air, and watching all the adorable birds flitting around—it really felt like a nature retreat. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making this place feel welcoming and comfortable, not just for humans but for our fur babies too. 🐾💛

We had a group of 6 stay at Neil's place while we were in Castlemaine for a wedding. It was a hot weekend and the place was a cool sanctuary during the down time of the wedding festivities. Neil messaged us as soon as the place was ready on our first day to allow us an early as possible check-in on the wedding day - that was so helpful.

We had a great stay at Paul and Anna’s. Good location if wanting to stay out of the centre of town, yet very quick and easy to get to Castlemaine. The property was spacious, which we really valued being a young family. Thanks for being so friendly and helpful Paul and Anna!

A perfect quick getaway. The colour scheme is instantly calming and the entire apartment has been very tastefully put together. Very homely vibes with amazing art work, mementos of the Theatre and just a chilled atmosphere. Hearing the movie play next door was very cool - not too loud at all but reminded you of what a cool place you’re staying in. We will definitely stay again and absolutely recommend to everyone who says they are coming to Castlemaine.

This Airbnb was absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a beautifully maintained garden, bursting with vibrant florals and visited by native wildlife, creating the most serene atmosphere. Roberta’s warm welcome made us feel instantly at home. The property itself was immaculate, with thoughtful décor touches that added charm to every corner. It was an incredibly peaceful retreat, yet just a short stroll from Castlemaine’s main town, making it the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. We truly loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

We really loved staying at Juliet’s place. It was nice and private with plenty of space, and everything we needed to feel at home. It’s just down the road from the Theatre Royal and Love Shack Brewing to grab a bite and a few drinks, as well as plenty of other cafes and restaurants. Would love to come back again and check out some live music next time! Thanks Juliet for all your help making our stay so great.

Such a perfect place to stay, we felt right at home and would highly recommend to others. The quirky retro styling and sweets decor are divine. The space is beautifully clean and well considered. The property is so central and within walking distance to all the shops. We frequently sat out on the veranda, and with the shed door down and all the greenery from the neighbouring trees, it was a lovely peaceful place to be. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay Ellen
