The cottage was located in a quiet and peaceful spot. Many walk trails are right at the doorstep and there are plenty of maps provided for your use. It was beautiful to sit on the patio and take in the sights and sounds of nature whilst enjoying a drink or reading a book. Comfortable beds and an amazing shower. Easy to get to other locations like wineries and the Skywalk.

Nice big spaces for a larger group. The house was very clean. We didn't get much of a chance to enjoy the living/entertainment areas due to doing a lot of sightseeing however we hope we get the opportunity to come back sometime and experience all the house has to offer. Would definitely recommend this property to larger families/groups.

Thoroughly enjoyed the historic home , so much character ! The peace and quiet were just what we needed and on a couple colder nights we lit the pot belly stove …gorgeous . And Robert gave us some home grown produce which was a very special touch . He was around if we needed anything

Highly recommended staying at this property. The photos do not do this place justice. Maria was so kind and easy to deal with. The house has stunning views all around and makes you feel like you’re living in the middle of a forrest. It easily sleeps 6 people. It’s great for families. With two Queen/King beds in seperate rooms and a “kids room” with two single beds. It has a beautiful spa bath. A literal retreat for couples or a family. It’s a few mins from Denmark town. I even had the privilege of meeting the next door neighbour. Everyone was so kind and genuine. A special shout out to Maria who had a full document with all the sites to see around Denmark within an hour drive.

Excellent stay. As described and an incredible view. Bed and furnishings super comfy. Kitchen and bathroom clean. Would recommend and stay again. 😊

We had such a lovely relaxing stay here. Loved chilling on the balcony with coffee in the morning just taking in the sights smells and sounds of the bush, it was so peaceful. The bed was comfortable, kitchen very well equipped for cooking. We had no trouble starting the log fire at night for a lovely cozy atmosphere. We even got a nighttime visit from the resident possum on the balcony. Melaney was a great host - proactive with messaging directions and checking to see we were enjoying our stay, fast response when I had questions. Would definitely recommend.

As we travelled south from our home in Margaret River en route to our 7th stay in the beautiful Albany Cottage, we bemoaned the fact that we couldn’t find our ‘special Albany outdoor shower bathrobe’ before we left home. Imagine our delight, when we entered the bedroom, to find the bathrobe there on the bed, accompanied by a lovely note of welcome from Kristen. Kristen had found the robe after we had departed from our previous visit in November 2024, and had kept the robe safe and sound for us. Kristen always goes above and beyond to ensure we are made feel very special and very welcome. Margaret’s Cottage is a very special place for our pooch and for us. Margaret makes us feel like old friends and has created a space that is cosy and inviting. Some of our friends have suggested that we could find other accommodation for our visits to Albany. Our response to them is an emphatic, “Why would we?!”

Jane's place was very homely and comfortable. If you like cooking, the kitchen is really well equipped. It is conveniently located near to all amenities.

Everything about Susan & Bob’s place is 5 star. A beautifully setup cottage in a picturesque bush & gardens setting, access to a stunning beach (not far from Greens Pool) and walking distance to a cafe & honey shop ( great ice cream). We were on our bicycles riding the Munda Biddi track & Susan drove us into Denmark to buy food supplies - the perfects hosts. Love to come back again on future travels.
