stunning location!! didn't expect to be able to see the ocean from the veranda so that was a nice surprise. My partner and I went there with my in laws who were over from the U.k and they loved it! Felt very clean and comfy. Perfect for a chilled get away.

Great wee place with everything you need for a few days in Albany. A few minutes walk to the beach and great base for exploring the area. The villa was clean and Sue was a friendly and helpful host.

Thoroughly enjoyed the historic home , so much character ! The peace and quiet were just what we needed and on a couple colder nights we lit the pot belly stove …gorgeous . And Robert gave us some home grown produce which was a very special touch . He was around if we needed anything

Grant and Lynley were honestly some of the most exceptional hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Going above and beyond to make us comfortable and have it feel like home. Anyone lucky enough to enjoy this space and their hospitality will be in for an outstanding treat. Thank you again Grant and Lynley for such a beautifully amazing time!

Hiro and Phil’s house is beautiful and we felt very at home there . The house is incredibly well equipped and was spacious and spotless. We absolutely loved the location . It’s very peaceful and it was wonderful to sit on the deck and watch all the birds and local Kangaroos. We would definitely recommend staying there and if we are in WA again we will book again! ! Denmark is also a wonderful town to stay in . Plenty of beautiful beaches and wineries to visit.

Such a lovely stay at the slow drift, a perfect place to recharge and enjoy thr beautiful surroundings. The place itself was super cosy and loved all the unique touches

We had such a lovely relaxing stay here. Loved chilling on the balcony with coffee in the morning just taking in the sights smells and sounds of the bush, it was so peaceful. The bed was comfortable, kitchen very well equipped for cooking. We had no trouble starting the log fire at night for a lovely cozy atmosphere. We even got a nighttime visit from the resident possum on the balcony. Melaney was a great host - proactive with messaging directions and checking to see we were enjoying our stay, fast response when I had questions. Would definitely recommend.

Wee Gem was exactly as described. Extremely comfortable and cosy beds, brilliant kitchen, well appointed living area and spacious main bathroom. Located very close to the main shopping and restaurant area in a very quiet street. Highly recommended!!

As we travelled south from our home in Margaret River en route to our 7th stay in the beautiful Albany Cottage, we bemoaned the fact that we couldn’t find our ‘special Albany outdoor shower bathrobe’ before we left home. Imagine our delight, when we entered the bedroom, to find the bathrobe there on the bed, accompanied by a lovely note of welcome from Kristen. Kristen had found the robe after we had departed from our previous visit in November 2024, and had kept the robe safe and sound for us. Kristen always goes above and beyond to ensure we are made feel very special and very welcome. Margaret’s Cottage is a very special place for our pooch and for us. Margaret makes us feel like old friends and has created a space that is cosy and inviting. Some of our friends have suggested that we could find other accommodation for our visits to Albany. Our response to them is an emphatic, “Why would we?!”
