Very charming place. Would stay again.

Had a great stay at Amy's place in Gouldsboro! Everything was as described. Felt right at home and everything was clean and organized. There was lots of space outside for our dogs to roam and explore while being safe in a large fenced area. Not a ton of restaurants open in the off season, but the ones we found were fabulous! Lots of trails for all skill levels in the area if hiking is your thing. Amy was very responsive to any questions we had and gave us some great suggestions for places to check out! Nice view of the water from the house. The neighborhood feels very private, but it's still close to everything you could need. We will definitely be staying here again!

We had a spectacular off-season stay on Southwest Harbor. Mary Ann was a 10/10 host, super responsive and flexible. We were so happy to have our two dogs with us, they were welcomed with open arms. Mary Ann is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Mt Desert Island and I would highly recommend her recommendations. We would stay here again, and hope to! Huge thanks to our hosts.

Wonderful, warm, spacious and comfortable home in a great location. Christina was super responsive and accommodating when we asked for flexibility on check in time. Lovely home, great host - we hope it will be available so we can stay there again when we return next year.

The house was perfect for our family. It was within walking distance to “Dinner” a terrific restaurant and centrally located for our Acadia hike exploring. Pete and Jen were very responsive and helpful.

Aaron's place was fantastic for our party of 6 (my partner and me, our kids, her parents). The house was located perfectly on the North end of Mt. Desert Island by Hadley Point Beach (where we were lucky to catch both a meteor shower and the Northern Lights.) While the lower level had a separate entrance, the kids appreciated the additional privacy/area away from adults. The entire house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. All of the amenities (well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, patio) were much appreciated. We'd definitely stay again when visiting Acadia.

We stayed at Sabrina's place for 2 nights while visiting Acadia. The property is very private and quiet. it had a view of the cove right behind the house. We enjoyed going out there to see the sunrise. The house is very clean and organized. It had everything we needed for out stay. I would recommend this if your looking for a place away from the crowds of Acadia National Park.

My friends and I loved this Airbnb. We brought our dog and he also loved it! The firepit outside was a huge plus. It was clean and comfortable. There were games available to play and a streaming TV. The kitchen was spacious and it was a good size for 5-6 people.

This place is so great. It is exactly like the photos, but I think even despite that the listing doesn't quite capture how huge this house is. It seems pretty well insulated, also, so despite us having a decent sized group, it never felt crowded or loud. There's so many nooks and crannies to tuck away in. Also, this is an old house with old house charm, Cale really preempts a lot of questions with super helpful signage throughout the house. Not sure which of the six knobs you need to turn on the shower? They already thought of that and have put helpful guidance on the wall. We cooked for 8 people in the kitchen and found it well stocked – they even have a crock pot. Overall, this was exactly what our group was looking for.

We had an amazing time at your cabin. Thank you so much for opening it up to guests. Loved waking up to the sunrises.

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

Three girlfriends and I stayed at Hillside for a week. The setting and location were absolutely beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and I loved walking the trail. The house was roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend!!

This lovely apartment directly overlooking the park in downtown Bar Harbor was the perfect place for our family. With grandparents, parents, two small children, and a chihuahua, we had room to spread out, sleep comfortably, walk to the beach and the park, shop, and eat wonderful food and ice cream. I would want others to know that the stairs up to the apartment are steep, a tiny bit tricky for the senior with bad knees and the toddlers with short legs. The apartment has a Smart TV, which wasn't really watchable for us. If they had cable it would have been just perfect! Overall, this place was in a dream location and afforded all of us a chance to relax and enjoy the gorgeous fall weekend in Maine.

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

We had a great stay at this house! Plenty of beds for everyone. Convenient to get to Acadia and bar harbor with a short drive!

Angela's place was charming, clean and great for families. The screened porch was wonderful and there were a lot of dining/seating areas for guests. The bedrooms were cozy and kitchen was clean with lots of cooking supplies.

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

What an amazing time I had at this place! I got married to my best friend and we had our families joined together! Everyone cooking every night, beach walks, board games, and fires for when it got a little cold. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding week! Thank you so much to Paul and Shankari for being wonderful helpful host!

My family had a great time staying here. Very quiet and private and warm during winter storms. Host was quick to plow the snow in the driveway. The ride into town is about 20 minutes and there's a lot of wildlife on the way. We found a lot of antiques at the stores and malls around town. The beds were the most comfortable beds I ever slept in. The sectional couch was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

It was so nice to find a place close to lots of great hiking spots in Acadia and that is dog friendly. The fenced in backyard was a game changer.

"From my daughter: This is our 3rd trip to Acadia National Park, but the first time at this Air B&b. Originally it was supposed to be for 5 of us, but 3 couldn't make it, so it ended up just being my husband and I. The Air B&b is in a remote enough area that it is nice and peaceful, but still an easy 20-30 minute drive to almost anywhere on Mt. desert island. The house has so many thoughtful touches, like an area outside for a campfire, supplies for smores, basic seasoning and condiments, all the light switches labeled (so thankful for that!), etc. We did a grocery run our first day and came back to the house for almost all our meals. This was a cozy place and we'd recommend to anyone visiting Mt. Desert Island and would return here again if we come back in the future."

We had a lovely time at Krista and Joe’s place. Warm, welcoming, and easy to get to- it was a great hub for a quick family winter weekend getaway to Acadia and MDI. We loved the fact it was dog friendly so we could have our pup join us as well! The house was super clean, comfortable, and convenient on the quietside of MDI. We’d definitely look to book again when we head back! Thank you for being our home away from home!

It was a nice location and the place was as described. The dock was nice, but the stairs getting down is through the driveway of another house. It was a great spot to come back to after a day exploring Acadia.
