Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

Amazing location in quant and charming smalltown Maine! As close as it gets to Acadia without having to pay exorbitant lodging prices. Amenities were beautiful and the unit was well furnished and clean. Would highly recommend a stay here and may even come back again myself!

I highly recommend this property, “Mariner’s Loft” on the historic Main Street of Belfast! Beautifully restored space from which to hike up the rail-trail, explore the waterfront, shops, restaurants, as well as a great food co-op around the corner, accessing great food to cook in the well laid out kitchen for an “at home” relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere with 2 comfortable sleeping quarters in the heart of town! The price was a bit of a splurge for us, but we found its location and aesthetic comforts well worth it! Note: no designated parking is provided; instead free, though time-limited, street parking in front of the building can be found, with a free 24 hour municipal lot a half block away. Our stay here made for a very delightful two night immersion into the enchanting heart and soul of beautiful Belfast!

We had a great stay at the Penthouse! It was a perfect launching point for our downeast adventures in Acadia and points beyond. There was a beautiful waterfront view in a charming small town. The space was cozy, clean, modern and very comfortable for our stay. Highly recommend it.

Such a beautiful setting, and a one-of-a-kind accommodation. The building has been so thoughtfully and carefully renovated, with reverent attention to every design detail. The scale of the main room is massive, bit it still manages to feel welcoming and cozy. The artwork, the killer kitchen stove, the comfy bedrooms, the games, the view of the harbor—it all adds up to one fantastically special vacation rental!

We had a wonderful stay in Belfast! Thierry was always quick to respond with any questions we had or recommendations needed. Apartment was clean, adorable and very comfortable. We were able to walk into town to enjoy the many restaurants near by. We would be happy to stay again when we visit and would recommend to friends and family.

Nancy's place was perfect for our trip to Maine! We drove to Acadia from here and it was about an hour drive. The apartment was cozy and had a great view, she had everything well stocked and even provided coffee which I appreciated since I forgot to bring some!! Highly recommend for a nice Maine getaway.

I really enjoyed the hospitality room. It was great to arrive and use the room for hot drinks and snacks that were free. It was good to sit down there after our long trip and relax before heading up to our room. I also enjoyed meeting the manager and cleaner. It gave it a personal touch. The location was very convenient because there was an open restaurant next door.

Great place to stay on the "Quiet Side". We are regulars on MDI and love this area so so much. The kitchen was well-appointed: especially amazed at the selection of herb/spices as a person who likes to cook. The home is fun and eclectic with interesting books, games, card decks (with all the cards!) and multiple areas to hang-out and relax. It was a little chilly for use of boathouse and kayaks, but I can imagine how nice that would have been. Our GPS had the address on the wrong side and not as far down the street.

My group and I had a wonderful stay at Jeanne’s. Depending on where you’re going to Acadia, it’s between 10-30 minutes drive there - it’s also a gorgeous drive. The option to kayak, all the space, the amenities, clear communication - we all just wanted to stay longer! Highly recommend staying here.

Unbelievable place! This is perfect coastal Maine , so no need to leave property.its close to a great beach , Acadia, and host makes it easy and a wonderful experience!

Dora and Daniel's home was the perfect location for our first trip to the area. We were grateful not to be in the middle of the mayhem of Bar Harbor but close to Acadia National Park - our purpose for being there. It was the perfect space for two couples who appreciated having our own space. The large kitchen, two living rooms, deck and large sized bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and often sunny! It was quiet at night - occasionally we'd hear a boat go out in the middle of the night. We used the fire pit one day (purchased 3 bundles of wood) as we watched the tide come in and go out. The approach to this property (a blue barrel that says "no trespassing") and the dilapidated structure to the right of the property along the shoreline was a little unnerving but it grew on us after a few days. The view of the harbor if we looked straight ahead was beautiful. We also enjoyed Beal's Lobster Pier twice; a short walk from the house.

This place was a great location, we stayed here for a concert at Bangor Waterfront. We loved the amenities and the fire place. The beds were extremely comfortable. Would recommend!!

What a beautiful cottage! The pictures don’t do it justice. Water views of the bay from the master bedroom, living room and porch. So close to Acadia trails in Southwest Harbor or Seawall. We hiked the main park on the Bar Harbor side in the morning, came home to rest then went to some great trails less than 10 min away from the cottage (Wonderland and Flying Mountain loop) walked to Charlotte Legendary Lobster for dinner one night. Say countless deer. Super peaceful and clean cottage. Easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Loved our stay!

Perfect cabin to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Super clean and idyllic for romantic get away. Definitely will recommend.

This home could not have been more perfect. It did not feel like a rental - it felt like we were guests in someone’s beloved home. The views are amazing, the decor couldn’t be more cozy, yet impeccable, and the house was stocked well beyond what you’d normally find with rental. We were there 6 nights and did not want to leave. We enjoyed 5 of the nearby restaurants (including take out pizza from the bakery.) Planning ahead with reservations or getting on wait lists early helps during busy season to minimize wait times, but that’d be the case anywhere. We also stopped at a large grocery store in Ellsworth on the way in to make sure we had all our essentials. The hiking nearby is really hard to beat. We’ve stayed in Bar Harbor several times, and much prefer this location. We will definitely return. Thank you so much to the host/owners for allowing us the pleasure of spending time in your special home.

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

The photos don't do this place justice. It was spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful views of the water. For a busy marina it was pretty quiet. During the day there would be people just outside the unit talking but nothing disruptive. Great price for a beautiful place. Only about a 25min drive to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

BEAUTIFUL landscape directly on a lake with access to fishing poles, kayaks, and canoes, we felt like we didn’t need to leave the property at all. Perfect location to visit Acadia and near by towns. I wish we could have stayed for twice as long. The condo itself seems to be brand new! The beds were comfortable and the decorations and big screen tv were a nice touch. We spent hours on the dock and in the lake (kayaks). Cannot wait to return to this slice of heaven.

Well-equipped with guidebooks, kitchen implements, extra pillows, bikes, even a lobster steam pot! We lacked for nothing. Loved the photographs throughout the condo showcasing Acadia NP. Especially loved the map on the wall showing what islands we could see from the balcony. Neighbors were quite friendly & gave several good restaurant recommendations. Peaceful & quiet side of the island allowed for restful sleep each night such that I wasn’t tired after our vacation.

Great and convenient, matched description, easy to access and check in and out. Responsive and helpful host.
