The kitchen is well-equipped for home cooking, the living area is inviting, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a restful night’s sleep. One of the highlights was simply sitting by the water, taking in the stunning views and enjoying the quiet. Whether you want to unwind with a book, explore the nearby countryside, or just soak up the peaceful atmosphere, Mickey’s Lodge offers the perfect setting.

Had a lovely few days away, place was spotless and the hot tub was huge such a bonus having a sauna too.. host was quick to reply and give recommendations of places to eat

We stayed at Patricia’s space for my father’s 60th birthday. It accommodated the family well and was a comfortable space and located near excellent restaurants and the heart of Donegal. I would highly recommend this lovely home!

We really enjoyed our stay with my mom. We both felt right at home, it was so comfortable. You basically don't need to bring anything, everything is there and more. The place was just clean, spotless. Mom and I loved how the hosts paid attention to details for everything. Brian was so kind and such a responsive host, he is always there when you need. thank you again ! and we'll come back for sure

Franks place was absolutely beautiful. Well decorated, good provisions and everything needed was there. Very thoughtful to leave a nice bottle of wine, milk and some treats too. Much appreciated :-) We had a lovely peaceful break in a serine little village right on the border. Just what was needed to recharge the batteries. Thanks again Franke. We would definitely recommend.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. So beautiful & peaceful. The hot tub was perfectly placed overlooking fields and forest. The glass house light up at night time, is like a fairy tale, perfect for evening drinks. Two absolutely stunning home made cakes were also provided by Shaun’s mum and they were amazing. Shaun was very friendly & the best host. Thank you so much, will definitely be back.

Clodagh’s studio was perfect for our stay, clean, fresh, clutter free and compact, had everything we needed ! Clodagh went above and beyond, even collected us from the train station, which is at the far side of town. The main area of Castlebar town is within walking distance.. We were going to a show at the TF Royal, which is approximately 1.2 km away and walkable ☺️ I would not hesitate to recommend Clodagh’s studio to anyone, we had a lovely, comfortable stay ☺️
