Great location for a little family like ours. Felt very safe and secure in the location, very peaceful. Few little issues which was swiftly dealt with by the guys and very quick to response. Beautiful surroundings. Great place to stay if you want to do day trips. Not far from Falkirk and Stirling and also only 30 mins drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Local access to shops only 3 mins away. Warm, cosy and homely. Comfy beds, great little kitchen area with all you need for a family stay. Hot tub is a great extra to have. Can’t recommend enough.

The Clyde View cottage was just what we were looking for; rural, a great view, peaceful, a short drive to the Glasgow airport, and a feeling of seclusion. Even though there is a similar cottage on either side, the orientation and fencing give you privacy and a view over the sheep pasture and the River Clyde in the distance, feeling like you are all alone. The interior is tastefully decorated and perfect for two people. The hot tub was ready to use and we availed ourselves of the washing machine also. Make sure that you have time to hang dry your clothes, we didn't and ended up using the hair dryer! It's a quick 15 minute drive to GLA; no more than from downtown Glasgow, and much less traffic. A nice touch was the basket of local snacks and small bottle of prosecco. Cottage was super clean, welcoming and everything seemed very new. Highly recommended! Oregon/Alaska, USA

Brilliantly relaxed weekend just 20 mins away from Glasgow. Scandinavian style wood fired bath under the stars was a highlight. Host was friendly and responsive. Will be back!

A perfect stay. We spent the weekend here and it was everything and more from the listing. The cabin was beautiful and cosy and was just what was needed for a quiet few days away. The hot tub was a dream especially in the cold weather and snow. Lynda was a great host. I would recommend this to friends and family; we would look at coming back in the future.

Nous avons passé une nuit en famille dans l’appartement après une journée de randonnée autour du Loch Lomond. Nous avons dîné et pris le petit déjeuner, dans l’auberge juste en face. Tout était parfait 👍

Had a great, relaxing four days. House was easy to find and had everything you would want and more. From fresh fruit and flowers to milk in the fridge. House was lovely and warm on arrival too which was great on a cold wet day. Kitchen was so well stocked. Large casserole dishes to slow cookers all in there. No shortage of glasses or utensils which at times can happen at rentals. Plenty of clean fresh towels in every bedroom and bathroom. We had our dog with us and he wasn’t missed either with a nice pack of treats. Well kept garden and a big open space for the kids to run around in also. Only small thing was you had to drive out for walks as the house is not on a route and has no pavements to walk out on. Strathaven itself has enough to keep you busy and has some nice little cafes and bakers! Just a great place to get away to. Yvonne was brilliant and so responsive. Kindly dropped Halloween baskets off for the kids too. Loved it! Neil

This is our third or fourth stay at Arthur's beautiful place. Always a first port of call for my stay's in Scotland. First time staying in the family barn and it was well laid out and equipped.

Karolinas flat is so nice! We felt comfortable right away. The kitchen has everything you need and the flat is spacious. The area is pretty and you can walk to all the good restaurants and cafés as well.

Tom was a great host

My daughter and I are visiting from the US, staying in a few hotels as we travel. Pauline’s guest house is the most comfortable accommodation we have experienced. The space smells clean as you enter and fresh flowers are waiting at the tea table. The bed feels like a cloud and the room temperature was perfect. A full kitchen and bath are in the space and were useful when we chose to stay in. Pauline was very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this home to visitors looking for a relaxing stay.

Lovely little cottage, small, clean, comfortable, felt at ease the minute we walked in. No wardrobe but we didn't need one and very small seating area outside. We would recommend The Swan pub and restaurant across the road, small convenience store a small walk away, great outdoor space for walking. Central area for exploring Falkirk, Stirling, Callandar and Glasgow. Enjoyed a meal at the Himali, Kilsyth and the Ardnamurchan in Glasgow. Catherine was an excellent host. Would definitely stay again.

Great apartment, very spacious, beautiful rear gardens, plenty of free parking outside. Very homely, you would be hard pressed to find something that this apartment didn’t have. Nice touches of fresh flowers, fruit, bread and milk. Apartment next to the train line for the city centre, close walking distance to local amenities. Would definitely recommend this property. Flexibility re arrival/departure times. Perhaps only slight issue was the curtains in the single bed room don’t appear to black out lined, room was quite bright in the mornings. No issues with the other bedrooms curtains, this does not prevent me highly recommending the property.

The apartment is super clean and really lovely, perfect for a weekend stay in Glasgow. They were super flexible and accommodating with us, and very friendly to communicate with!

David is very friendly. He helped me with my difficulties during my stay here. It was part of my trip to Scotland, but I travel here with very good memories.

Great host very friendly and nothing too much bother. Accommodation really good and comfortable everything you would possibly need is there. Had a lovely relaxing week thank you.

This was our second year and we love it even more. Amazing location with 5 star facilities.

We had a brilliant time at Loudon Mains. David and Eileen were so helpful and even gave us some teabags and milk on New Year’s Day to save us driving to the shop. The lodge was beautiful and the hot tub was great. There was all the amenities you could ask for - from clean towels to gin goblets. We’d love to come back next year 🫶⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Davids place was very clean and in a beautiful quiet location, overlooking a beautiful valley. The country club had good facilities that we accessed and a play area for children. We enjoyed our stay.
