Fantastic location and easy walk into the town centre. Beautiful place to stay with modern amenities, clean and well appointed home. Beds were very comfortable and the king beds in each bedroom was an added bonus. Enjoyed sightseeing around Mt Gambier and the surrounding area

Jenny's place was ideal for me and my niece as it was centrally located, private and well-priced. It also had a very welcoming feel and was well-stocked with all the necessities. The beds were extremely comfortable and roomy. Jenny was also most helpful when we were having trouble accessing a streaming service. I highly recommend Jenny's "Comfort Behind Crouch"

The group really enjoyed our stay, the house was well equipped and had plenty of bedding to accommodate everyone.

We loved our family stay at the Beach Shack! The place has a lot of charm , which we love, and was well equipped with everything we needed to cook and relax at home. It was super close to the beach and an easy drive to Mt Gambier and Port Macdonnell. We loved going for a day trip and then coming back and feeling totally relaxed in the space. It had a good yard for the children to play in, and we took my mum too who was able to have her own space in the lovely external bedroom. Highly recommend!

A fantastic, authentic 1970’s house. The important things, like fridge, loo, mattresses were new and comfy. The vibe of the 70’s with red leather couch, hookey on the wall, original vanity in bathroom made it exceptional. What was best for us was the fully enclosed, secure yard for our hound. A very peaceful, relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was within easy walking distance to the town. The provisions provided in the house were plentiful. Big and roomy house. We would choose to stay again.

We were an extended family of nine and one dog - ages 4 to 70 and spent four days at Richard's beach house. We found it to be a perfect place for a relaxing, fun filled holiday. The location was superb - fantastic beach and landscape views from all windows - absolute beachfront with easy beach access was the highlight. Walking distance to multiple playgrounds, cafes and fantastic pub - Victoria Hotel. The configuration of the rooms was perfect for a large family or multiple families. Beds were clean and comfortable. Multiple well furnished living areas were great for group or individual relaxation. Kitchen is large and well stocked. It is exactly as described - a comfortable, welcoming, cosy, no fuss beach shack with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. Huge yard and back gate access was convenient for our multiple cars and great area for games and recreation. Thank you Richard - we really enjoyed our time at your house.

Super cute little cabin! Beautifully decorated and furnished. As described it is tiny but our family of 4 perfectly for 2 nights. Zoe was very accommodating with a last minute booking and was responsive to messages. Instructions for check in, parking and check out were very clear. Would absolutely stay here again 😁

Kim and Charlie were extremely helpful. They answered every question quickly. Were willing to reconfigure beds, swap bunks to 2 singles. The arrival time is 3pm but they let us know as soon as the cleaning was completed that we can get in earlier. We, 8 'aged' siblings, had great time, in wonderful surrounds and beautiful accommodation. Thank you

We dont get to stay in mount gambier very often and at a last minute booking found this little place to stay. it was clean , lights were on to greet us that made it feel homely after arriving late in the day. cosy and location waas fantastic as we walked to the main street etc. thanks for having us x

If youre looking to get away to the SE of SA Sue's place is just what you need. You can hide from the busy world and not leave the grounds or spring board to the Coonawarra. As you drive in the gate the endless meticulous gardens and lawn areas will amaze you. My two kelpie loved the space as well. Thankyou Sue & Hubby for creating such a lovely place.

Pictures don't do the house justice the master bedroom upstairs is gorgeous with walk through wardrobe and ensuite the upstairs balcony wraps around to the side with outdoor table The views are picture perfect

Stunning villa comfy beds and I loved the linen so much that I had to order the same for myself !! Great central location lots to do in the area and surrounds and love that my cat was welcome too 🫶 thank you

An amazing little cottage that's full of character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Leanne is a great host and we were provided with breakfast supplies. A great base to explore the Limestone Coast.

Lovely cottage decorated beautifully. All we needed for our 5 night stay with our Jack Russell terrier along. Great carport and lots of places to sit and relax. Easy walk to Church Street and the Royal Oak hotel with its pet friendly beer garden and excellent meals. Definitely recommend Airs Cottage when visiting Penola.

Amazing place! So private and peaceful. Wonderful that the dogs could come too. It was the perfect place to unwind, go off-grid and spend quality time together. The stocked pantry was a lovely surprise too!

Had a wonderful stay at Sarah's cottage, hosted by the super friendly Jen. We used the cottage as a base to explore the wineries of Coonawarra - and it was in the perfect location just tucked to the south of Penola, in walking distance to everything in the town, which we loved. The cottage is from the 19th century with lots of period features and oozing character - its been beautifully renovated and updated and is incredibly comfortable. One of the days when we stayed was 39C and the cottage remained cool with very effective A/C. Everything was spotless and tidy, Jen was super proactive and friendly - definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing stay in the Coonawarra.
