It is a lovely place; the Host was very nice and kind enough to show me around the area as it was my first time in Campbell River. the apartment is neat. will stay there over and over again.👌

The location by the water is spectacular - the provided kayaks are a really nice touch (paddled every morning and saw seals, bald eagles, even saw a whale!). The suite was very bright with big windows (great views). The kitchen was well stocked with lots of room to prep meals. We slept great in the big king bed with a cozy foam mattress. The hot tub (we used it daily) and the heated bathroom floors were awesome when the weather was chilly. Donyne went above and beyond to make sure we had a good vacation (responded quickly to our questions and even gave us the heads up when Orcas were swimming past!) It’s a great place - highly recommended

Cathy is a Superhost in my books. She thought of every detail, communicated clearly, proactively and responsively. Easy check in/out process. The covered porch allowed us to sit outside by the ocean, even during inclement weather. Cathy had even turned on the fireplace for our arrival (it was a cold and rainy day)! Kitchen was stocked with essential cooking accessories, spices, oil, coffee, tea, etc. What a welcoming feeling!! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing time at Cathy's place. We had a mix of sunny days and stormy days and in both it was amazing. Either beach combing for shells and crabs with my children or curled up by the fire watching the waves crash. Amenities are nice and close, felt very private and right at home. Clean and presented even better than the pictures. Would absolutely love to come stay again!

Let me tell you, this place was truly something else. For an off grid cottage resort, it felt like home. So Magical and peaceful that words can't really describe it. Both Mark and Cynthia's hospitality was phenomenal. They have truly built a unique resort off grid. Must experience it for yourselves, like I said, words can't describe it other than go visit them. Cynthia made our boys home made cookies that were out of this world!! Mark was so caring making sure we were always comfortable and always had our wood pile stocked. I can keep going and going but I'll end it like this, We will be visiting their lovely cottage again and again. Next time for us will be to experience summer there. Thanks again Cynthia and Mark for our incredible one week stay 🙏🙏🙏

Absolutely beautiful location and log home. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Such breathtaking views from this home!

Zeballos is extremely remote, but that's a huge part of the appeal! You feel far away from any drama and able to just kick back and take in the tranquility. The house itself was perfect for a big group. All 15 of us had a bed and were very comfortable (a couple people commented that the beds were very cozy!). The kitchen was essentially a commercial facility with everything you need to feed a large group. We took turns making breakfast and dinner and at no point were we left in the lurch looking for utensils or equipment. The location of the cabin was probably the best spot in the whole town, the pictures could never do the view justice. On our second day we took a little walk around town and talked to a few locals who were all really friendly and welcoming. Zeballos may be tiny, but it's rich with history and we enjoyed feeling like we had been transported back to a different time! If you seek an adventure off the beaten track, I strongly encourage you to check this place out. You won't regret it.

Very welcoming host. Lovely accommodation. Alert Bay was very good for our Seasmoke whale watching trip. A very special time there!

Very comfortable apartment and easy access to some beautiful walking trails. Suggest arriving during daylight hours for your first stay as parking in the driveway needs some care. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great stay in Tahsis with Nigel. Everything we needed for a successful fishing trip was available. Nigel met us at the dock to check us in and show us the great property. Nigel checked in occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed. Top notch, we’ll be back without a doubt.
