We loved our stay and Peter and Charmaine were great hosts. Showed us all the great spots and super helpful with any questions we had. The house is in a great location with beautiful views and just a short walk to the beach. This is definitely one of the place to stay when visiting Barra Beach!

This is an amazing house at a great location. A lot of days we didn’t even want to leave the house for activities as it is very relaxing to hang out on the porch, taking a dip in the pool, watching butterflies, taking fruits from the trees… We’ve had an amazing time!

We had a wonderful stay at Mandowa. The house is beautiful and the location peaceful and abundant with birdlife. A braai area that is a bit better located would allow for a wonderful evening experience around the fire. Fernando was very helpful and always happy to assist. We hope to be back soon.

It was an extremely warm and friendly welcome for us. The plates used on the walls added a unique touch to the house, almost reflecting the owner’s energy :) The pool and garden were very functional and in a great location. The staff was very helpful, and we also had excellent communication with the host. We had a wonderful weekend. It’s definitely a place I would love to stay again.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé séjourner à la Palm House à Ponta do Ouro. Le logement proposé était impeccable et l'hôte a été présente pour des conseils tout au long de notre voyage. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le travail des deux housekeepers, un grand merci à eux aussi! Nous recommandons à 100%!

Superbe maison pour 12 personnes. Très grande et pratique. Très propre. Localisation paradisiaque sur la plage avec 4 chambres vue sur mer. Nous étions en famille et avec des amis, nous avons adorés. Bonne communication avec Cindy, notre hôte. Avoir 2 personnes à plein temps en plus qui s’occupent de la maison durant notre séjour (ménage, vaisselle, aide au quotidien, aménagement de la terrasse) étaient un vrai plus également. Je recommande vivement.

I absolutely loved my stay! Sandra’s place has the most phenomenal view and felt like a luxe stay. One of, if not the nicest home in the area. Furniture was clean, rooms were free of bugs, everything worked properly, and the house staff were very kind. The house is located on a quiet stretch of beach (at least it was in February). Sandra was very responsive and was able to come up with an invitation letter quickly while I was at the border driving into MZ. She had great suggestions and was easy to coordinate with when we extending our stay an extra night. I cannot wait to return!

Really enjoyed the stay with Fatimas! close to everything, beach, market, service station, everything just around the corner! House is fully equip with everything you need. the photo of the cover is underrating the house, it is much more to offer when live in.

Eu e a minha familia nos sentimos em casa, um lugar calmo e aconchegante, tal como a descrição. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. O anfitrião e o pessoal da casa (dona Cristina) sempre dispostos a ajudar. Cada detalhe (os livros, o piano etc) tornam o ambiente mais leve. Foi uma estadia maravilhosa!

We had a very (very) early check in, with very short notice - think like half an hour notice- Yet Corinna was able to accommodate us. She was very responsive, warm and super welcoming. The house is as described: super nice, and everything is thought to be outdoor. We loved it. Especially the main outdoor bathroom! Thanks for having us, I will recommand your place warmly to our friends in Maputo :)

Rui's place is great - the house is beautiful and the terrace especially was lovely, and had everything that a group needed. The location is great, walkable to the beach and all the cafés/restaurants, and our housekeeper Julia was incredibly helpful! Rui was also super responsive and helpful with regards to all our questions! We had a great time and loved our stay.

Absolutely amazing and definitely worth it! Lynn was so helpful with even the smallest questions. Thank you for going the extra mile and giving us advice at the border crossing to cooking crayfish. The staff at the house is very pleasant and more than willing to help. The house is beautiful, very spacious and has a great location! I will definitely be going back! ❤

For 3 weeks we made this place our home! The colonial style house has three spacious and one smaller bedrooms. It was perfect for a group of five but could easily house 2 more people. It has a big and comfortable living room and a big terrace, albeit a little noisy at times (no problem for those who enjoy African street life, as we did). Here, we loved to take our meals or just linger. Additionally, there’s a large balcony upstairs. The location is in a central residential area, just a few blocks from Av. 24 de Julho, the heart of Maputo‘s main shopping district, and Praça da Independencia. Our host, Sara, has been very kind and responsive to our requests and always provided immediate service where needed. Last but by no means least to mention is the very kind and helpful house service - the guards and the housekeepers - who did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome, not just as paying guests but REAL house guests. Obrigado a todos, for really making us feel like home!

Larisa was a wonderful host and very helpful with any questions I had about transport, places to go etc. and went above and beyond to make my stay go smoothly. The house is simple and lovely - in a calm, beautiful garden. Highly recommend this little oasis!

Djamila is a fantastic host. Very responsive and aleays helpfull. Our stay was very peaceful and plenty of relaxation time combined with activities in the area ensured everyone could do what they enjoy. The view from the house is amazing and Alberto is super.

Esta foi a melhor experiência de Airbnb que já tive na minha vida. Uma casa acolhedora que parecia o sonho da casa que um dia gostaria de ter. Mobilado bem, curado nos detalhes, espaços amplos onde ninguém sentia-se de estar a partilhar a mesma casa porque tinha o seu proprio canto mesmo estando em casa. o design da casa é incrivel, soluções simples e de enorme impacto. Henrique foi muito disponível e acolhedor, adoramos e espero poder voltar futuramente!

Went to Tofu for a 2 week surfing trip and this place was great for what we needed. It's right on Torfiño beach so we could see the waves were good from the balcony and then a 2 minute walk to be in the ocean. It has the basics of what you need from a beach cottage. Lounge could be a little more comfy, particularly if you're a bigger group but you should rather be out and about exploring anyway. Angelique sent us a ton of useful information which was very helpful.

Nice, safe and very clean place with a nice Braii area on the patio and a well equipped kitchen. Loved the view of the light house at night.

Oh wow! Absolutely amaaaaaazing! Our family had an amazing time, and Erwee was a fantastic host. Easy to reach, quick to respond. This is one place I definitely intend on coming back to. The house had everything we needed. The staff at the resort were so helpful, so friendly and kind. Special mention to Zenda and Zacaria for ensuring our stay was comfortable and a total breeze 🧡

We had the most wonderful time at Debbie's place in Inhassora. If only I know how much we would enjoy the house, and the most idillic location, I would have stayed there much longer. The location of this house can not be better. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

The house is amazing, very clean, great conditions and well equipped. It exceed our expectations; the workers were very nice, kind and helpful. The Host very thoughtful; we will repeat for sure.

It was a great place to stay. Sufficiently private, very responsive host, matched expectations and the guard was very helpful. We’d come back to it it again. The only thing I would recommend is if you are driving a 4x4 vehicle would be highly recommended as the sand can be an issue especially after massive rains over the last couple of weeks. Otherwise it was a great stay and exactly as advertised
