What a beautiful place. We saw so many wild animals just roaming happily past the house. Its so peaceful. We spent most of the time on the deck. The rooms are amazing. Better than the pictures I would say and the pictures are stunning. We’ll definitely go back!

Hoedspruit is an excellent place to immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature or experience some adventure. Susan and Per’s home is ideally situated in a secure estate monitored by security and surrounded by wildlife. We felt safe and well-connected. The home was updated, clean, and provided everything needed for a bush stay and more. We highly recommend this home for your next visit after exploring the wild. 5 stars!!!

A Perfect Escape in Kruger Park! We recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning property during my trip to Kruger Park, and I can wholeheartedly say that it was one of the most memorable experiences I've had. From the moment we arrived, the beauty of the place took our breath away. The modern design and tasteful decor were not only aesthetically pleasing, but they also created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the host. Tash's communication was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always prompt in addressing our needs. The location of the property was simply fantastic. Situated amidst breathtaking views, we found ourselves surrounded by the beauty of nature at every turn. We had such a lovely, peaceful holiday on this farm. The surroundings are beautiful. It was relatively easy to get to. The house itself is lovely, and spacious. Juanita was easy to communicate with and always answered our messages. I would highly recommend this as a destination of some peace and quiet is what you’re after. There are cows and sheep grazing all around, and various buck and monkeys often peeking into the garden. There are many places to walk, and as a dog lover I was able to walk my dogs happily on lead all over the farm. We will definitely be back.

Great to be on the farm with all the animal’s and farm activities. We did lots of lovely walks on the farm. There were unique things to explore in Heidelberg, and we enjoyed a hike and game drive in the nearby Suikerbosrant Nature Reserve.

Hackle Lodge is a peaceful escape from the world. The cottage is spacious and very well appointed, great appliances and kitchenware, lovely comfy beds. Kloppenheim lodge has all other amenities you might need including a spa where we had a lovely massage. Would really recommend a stay at this beautiful cottage.

We have just come back from spending nine unforgettable nights at Penzhorn Rest Cottage and it exceeded all of our expectations - even better than the photos! Zonja, our host, welcomed us warmly on arrival and was so accommodating to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Her hospitality has honestly blown us away! The highlight of our stay was the daily sight and sound of the river with nightly hippo visitors which added such a magical touch to our stay, immersing us in the beauty and awe of the African bush. Whether enjoying a coffee while reading by the river or relaxing in the ‘bosbad’ every moment felt really special to us! Zonja’s meticulous eye for detail was evident in the small touches around the cottage which made us feel right at home. This is a haven for nature lovers seeking a luxurious yet authentic escape. If you decide to book this listing you won’t be disappointed! We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to returning!

My stay was absolutely amazing! The flat is beautiful and so tastefully furnished—every detail was perfect. This is a gem of a place. Sylvy is the best hoast ever whent out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The view is amazing and spending hours un the Kayak fishing was amazing. All the litle extras is amazing fresh farm milk eggs veg it was so special. We will see you soon

The place was absolutely amazing, we had everything we needed and more! The sounding estate was so gorgeous and lovely walking trails! Staff is super friendly! The host Richard was responsive, sent me clear instructions and told us about the history of Hazyview and what we can do there! I loved every minute of it! Definitely highly recommend!

Carmari hat auf unsere Nachrichten sehr schnell geantwortet und hat uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl in der Unterkunft mit dem tollen Ausblick auf den See gefühlt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Küche bot alles was man benötige. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt und haben unseren Aufenthalt sogar noch verlängert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Although the cottage lacks the usual mod-cons, such as wi-fi and showers, it was comfortable and made an ideal base for walking. (We did like soaking in the bath). We enjoyed our rest—reading, puzzling and walking in the beautiful hills and along the valley. There were a lot of flies - bring insect repellent - and the fact that it rained most of the time made the thatch musty. We want to return in the winter for another rest...
