Un site exceptionnel, de belles rencontres. Pakdee est un hôte vraiment très accueillant et d’une grande gentillesse, cultivé, généreux. Whaew a été aux petits soins pour moi et a facilité mon séjour au quotidien. Quelle générosité de cœur ! La région est magnifique, et l’accueil particulièrement chaleureux car il y a peu de touristes, je me suis sentie très bienvenue partout. Il y a un petit bateau pas loin pour rejoindre la ville en coupant par le fleuve, et qui arrive sur le marché pour quelques baht, aller faire ses courses devient une agréable aventure et c’est beau ! Bien sûr il y a la musique sur les bateaux en fin d’après midi, en soirée mais jamais très tard, ni très tôt. Je suis restée 1 mois et je suis en pleine forme, c’est que j’ai pu me reposer ! Merci Pakdee, merci Whaew, je reviendrai vous voir.

Amazing location right on the river and very communicative host and staff - if the party boat music is quiter then it is a perfect 10/10 place to stay

Great place to base from to see Kanchaburi. Better with own transport but cabs are affordable. Loud music from river traffic is real. Best to just enjoy it. This place is visually stunning, but the area it is in, is louder than you expect. It is quiet at night, fortunately. There's a great restaurant 750 meters away.

This place is a real hidden gem right in the middle of nature. I loved the serenity and marvelous views. Starting the day with a coffee by the river, followed by a refreshing swim, felt perfect to relax and prepare for adventures. The property is huge and well maintained, with a scenic garden full of picture-perfect spots. Our home was very clean and comfortable, and offered everything we needed for a carefree stay. I especially liked the design of the bathroom and the rattan basket chair. Locationwise its quite close to the city and all kinds of interesting attractions in the area, like amazing waterfalls, national parks, major temples, and the famous Bridge on the River Kwai. Our host and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming, it felt like staying with family. Thank you for having us! I’d definitely consider staying here again if I return to the region.

Superbe cabane perchée au milieu de la forêt avec vue sur la rivière Kwai. Ensemble spacieux avec une super cuisine extérieure et une très belle piscine privative. Notre séjour en famille s’est parfaitement passé. Nous recommandons sans réserve ce logement.

I have stayed here for 4 days, as this place seemed to offer everything I needed for some quiet workation. It served its purpose very well! This cozy cabin is functional, done thoughtfully, well-equipped (with all you need for cooking). It is private with a nice garden, it's beautiful to sit there during sunrise and before sunset, listening to the sounds of nature and birds chirping. Staying at Kantavika's place was definitely one of the highlights of my visit in Kanchanaburi! Kantavika is a very responsive host, she was always there to help with any question or issue I had.
